Today we invite Daniel Bevan back on the show to catch up about the Budapest music scene, the first few shows and releases with Valami lesz, and what it's like being in a rock band just getting off the ground.

Today's episode is with Daniel Bevan, who is both a drummer and kindergarten teacher here in Budapest. Originally from Wales, he has lived in Manchester, London, China and also Japan before fate eventually brought him here to Hungary. We also happen play in a rock band together called Valami lesz ("There will be something" in Hungarian).

I love it when I meet like-minded people who challenge the standard way of doing things.  After all, if we want to achieve more impact, by definition we have to change the way we are doing things now—or at least question them.  My guests today are founders of the social enterprise “United Edge”, and they happen to be in Dili doing a training among other things on “Leadership for Impact.”  Matt Kletzing and Daniel Bevan have a combined 15 years’ experience working for a variety of humanitarian organizations before deciding they wanted to influence aid workers to take an alternative model to development, one they are calling the “Justice Based Approach.”  They will explain more about this in the interview, as well as a few practical ways we as leaders can make more impact on ourselves, our teams and our organizations.
