This is a good example of what I had learned about patience I think. I get a sense that slow progress is good. And I should continue to learn, that's key as well. It shows up in what I learned about extremes of hydration and dehydration as well as the metabolic issues I had early in the year. Today’s micro show is a challenge for you to listen to the “I am …” statements you make this week. There’s a good chance you say “I am …” (followed by something—a LOT.) And, you think “I am …” (followed by something) even more frequently. But, have you ever really paid attention or examined up close these thoughts and words? Some of these “I am” statements you can’t do a darn thing about, but most—the ones that really matter to your future—you have absolute control over. Photo by Joshua J. Today may not be the official first day of Spring, but in my world, Spring arrived today with the sound of newly arrived curlews who arrive from goodness knows where to nest and raise young in the meadow near where I live (that's a curlew in the picture, in case you were wondering). Does this have anything to do with midlife or menopause? Well, yes, in a new beginnings, hopeful kind of way. Connect with the menopause conversation over on Facebook to access free stuff and other goodies and treats, including additional free training and discounted access to programmes for members of the group. We're also on YouTube and Instagram. Stop by, follow or subscribe and say hello. Photo by Joshua J. Cotten on Unsplash --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rebellationshirleybillson/message
