His music takes you out of the daily grind and into a world of pure nostalgia with a mix of vocal-driven upbeat pop and romantic electronic instrumentals, influenced by the music, movies, and fashion of the late 80s and early 90s. His debut album Graduation was released in 2017 and features artists including Miranda Carey, Rhyme Time, I Am Harlequin, Myrone, Phaserland and more. Sunglasses Kid has worked with Richard X (Sugar Babes, Liberty X) producing the hit track Beyond Memory for synthwave artist, Nina, and has collaborated with artists including Ollie Wride, D/A/D, Highway Superstar, Dana Jean Phoenix, Nina and Kristine. Sunglasses Kid's signature sound makes him in demand as a remixer, and he has reworked tracks for synthwave artists Ollie Wride, Diamond Field, Step Rockets, Futurecop! the Backlit Infinite, Phantom Ride and others. As a composer, his music can be heard on Made In Chelsea, and commercials for Tens sunglasses and Friday The 13th The Game. Sunglasses Kid is a regular at synthwave club nights and festivals including Outland, Retro Future Fest and Night Arcade, having performed at venues including The Clapham Grand and Melkweg in Amsterdam, alongside artists College, Time Cop 1983, Robert Parker, Futurecop!, Maethelvin, Daniel Deluxe and Le Brock. Host Aaron Vehling closes out the year with some awesome new tracks and some killer cuts he missed over the course of the year. The episode features music from Maethelvin, Emmy Wildwood, Nola Wren, Wyndsrfr, Michael Oakley, Cemetery Gates, Jason Priest, and more. 

Simpler Times is a british-italian duo, spawning from a small town of the north of Italy up to the british Manchester midlands, through the imperial Vienna and the rebel Barcelona. From the ashes of previous musical projects, after having fiddled with many different genres, Timothy (voice) and Matteo (music) found their creative spot in Synthwave, Outrun and Vaporwave. Worshipping bands like The Midnight, artists like Kavinsky and Pet Shop Boys, movements like the Vaporwave one, they couldn't end up in any place but this. Simpler Times paint on a wave-shaped canvas the sound of nostalgia, future and dystopia. Strongly influenced by movies like Blade Runner and Asimov's books, the duo recreates those atmospheres through their dark, impactful sound.
