Moon Over Africa comes is a South African radio series from 1937. Episodes were 15mins long and covered a range of adventures in supernatural elements. Since the episodes are so short I put out the first 7 eps from the series.

Moon Over Africa. September 7, 1935. Program #26. Broadcasters Program Syndicate/Bruce Eells and Associates syndication. "The Treasure Of The Ancients". The Leopard Woman tries to use hypnotism to get the professor to shoot himself and take all the treasure. This episode uses one music transition, the only episode of ther twenty-six to do so. The story could possibly end here, or go on for yet another thirteen (or more) episodes.

Moon Over Africa. August 31, 1935. Program #25. "The Orchids Of Death". The orchids of the forest almost overpower everyone. the expedition comes upon the tombstones, iron box and Latin inscriptions.

Moon Over Africa. August 17, 1935. Program #23. Broadcasters Program Syndicate/Bruce Eells and Associates syndication. "Whispering Forest Of Death". A strange human-like creature is spotted. Lorna and Nguru have disappeared. A village of lake-dwellers has been discovered.         

Moon Over Africa. August 24, 1935. Program #24.  "Treachery". A rescue is made with the help of Nguru. The Leopard woman is up to no good.

Moon Over Africa. August 3, 1935. Program #21. Broadcasters Program Syndicate/Bruce Eells and Associates syndication. "White Magic". The magic spell is broken. A fabulous Egyptian golden goblet (with Roman numerals!) is shown to the professor.

Moon Over Africa. July 6, 1935. Program #17. Broadcasters Program Syndicate/Bruce Eells and Associates syndication. "The Eyes Of The Moon". In the native village, the dance of Leopard Men begins. "The Witch Of The Moon" enters a box and turns into a leopard. We meet, "The Witch Of The Moon."

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. June 8, 1935. "The Secret Of The Talking Head". Lorna and the queen are in danger! The talking head turns out to be a radio receiver, invented by the evil Lamberti! He thinks the professor is dead and plans to kill Lorna with explosives. Lamberti is killed and the head crushed. The story can end hear if only thirteen weeks were bought by the station. The body of the show only.."

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. 4 May 1935. Episode #8. “A New Land”. The talking head tells the group to keep heading north. At the top of a mountain they find a crater with strange creatures living inside; including a tree that eats animals."  

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. 27 April 1935. Episode #7. “Escape”. Nguru brings the men their weapons. Lorna sees a white man in the chief’s hut who seems familiar. Nguru kills some of the guards allowing everyone to escape."  

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. 20 April 1935. Episode #6. “Captured by Cannibals”. The party is captured by cannibals but Nguru manages to escape."  

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. 13 April 1935. Episode #5. “The Rhinoceros Hill”. The shrieking head speaks of a small carved snuffbox that is the property of a witch doctor that will lead them through the rest of the country in front of them. The group discovers a rhinoceros shaped rock with strange writing on it."

As snake worshipers gather to avenge the killing of one of their gods Professor Edwards’ group breaks camp. The scientific expedition continues on their search for remnants of a race of people from Atlantis. "  

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. 30 March 1935. Episode #3. “Jungle Trance”. Lorna is found walking more than a mile from camp. Professor Edwards and Jack suspect that it is the work of a local witch doctor. Lorna is attacked by a white python. They kill the python; which is sacred to some local tribes. Almost within reach of camp Jack and Lorna are attacked by lions. Native message drums continually pound; passing the expeditions movements to tribes ahead of them."  

Adventures Stories presents Moon Over Africa. 23 March 1935. Episode #2. “The Atlantis Quest”. Professor Edwards thinks that the human head speaks the language of the lost Atlantis. Lorna walks out of camp in a trance while no one is looking."
