David Waldman will continue his boycott of State of the Union speeches and snow until Greg Dworkin is returned to us safely. There will be a SOTU tonight, maybe. No one will be watching, so it's hard to be certain. Abigail Spanberger says she is, but who could blame her if she zoned out for most of it. More people than ever don't want to hear what Donald K. Trump has to say. Even Trump's imaginary supporters are fading away. Proud racists are getting more difficult to find. The US Men's Hockey Team will be there, but that's because they are being made to. The Women's Team was let off the hook. The men will be honored with Trump AI highlight clips and individual SOTU lap dances from Kash Patel. Trump has a few hours to fill, so tariffs might come up, all of it unpleasant, and absolutely nothing about anyone getting a refund. What else is he going to talk about? Greenland? Cannibals? He could declare a war or two. Maybe a pardon or two. Trump probably won't talk much about Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and art school girls, DOJ and FBI coverups, but correspondent Rosalyn MacGregor has a lot to report!  Jared's dad, Charles Kushner, is ignoring French summons and would like to stay on the down-low, so expect Trump to flub that.

We got another double header! This time its a coupl'a cannibals! *Incase you didn't catch the word "Cannibals" being used over and over again...this one is explicit, to say the least. :) For our appetizer, we head back to July 2008, when Vince Li gruesomely murdered a fellow Canadian bus passenger named Tim McLean. Li didn't stop at murder, he stabbed, beheaded, and even ate parts of McLean's body. The police eventually arrested him after an hours-long standoff. But WHYYYY!!!???? Who was Vince Li? Why did he kill Tim McLean? And why did he eat him!? Then for the main course, we talk one of the most infamous cannibals to date, Issei Sagawa. A Japanese man claiming to have always had a fascination with human flesh. At the age of 35 he finally acts on it, killing a dutch woman that he had befriended, just so could eat her! Oh and he never did any jail time. He lived a long life and died of old age. It was a paperwork error or something...you know how these things go... 0_0    Check out our other shows!: Cryptic Soup w/ Thena & Kylee Strange & Unexplained True Crime Guys YouTube EVERYTHING TRUE CRIME GUYS:   https://linktr.ee/Truecrimeguysproductions True Crime Guys Music: True Crime Guys Music on Spotify OhMyGaia.com Code: Crimepine Patreon.com/truecrimeguys Patreon.com/sandupodcast Merch: truecrimeguys.threadless.com   Sources: https://allthatsinteresting.com/issei-sagawa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issei_Sagawa https://murderpedia.org/male.S/s/sagawa-issei.htm https://allthatsinteresting.com/vince-li

Mentor Sessions Ep. 053: Dave Collum on Post-Truth Era, Epstein Files Distraction, Satanic Cannibals in Power, MK Ultra, Market 200% Overvalued, and Bitcoin's Liquidity Test. What if the Epstein files are a deliberate distraction from deeper conspiracies like satanic cults infiltrating government, MK Ultra mind control shaping public figures, and a post-truth era fueled by media manipulation and AI deception? Cornell Professor Dave Collum, renowned for his bold economic predictions and unfiltered takes on societal issues, power dynamics, and truth-seeking, exposes how elite corruption ties into child sacrifice rituals, adrenochrome horrors, Hollywood's CIA symbolism, and geopolitical tensions like Israel's influence and U.S.-Russia relations. In this Bitcoin-focused deep dive, Dave warns of an everything bubble with markets 200% overvalued, predicting a 70% correction amid financial systems' flaws, market volatility, and unsustainable economic trends. He unpacks conspiracy theories on trafficking, psychology of mind control, public perception manipulation, and how Bitcoin's enemies—a satanic death cult controlling power—view cryptocurrency as a threat to their fiat empire.Dave reveals the dark roots of adrenochrome, satanic cults' sustainability in modern elites, and Hollywood's role in fictionalizing reality to obscure corruption. He critiques AI's impact on truth, Israel's strategic plays, and why Bitcoin's resilience against attacks (from quantum FUD to spam wars) could redefine money amid economic upheaval. For Bitcoiners stacking sats amid volatility, Dave's insights on gold vs. Bitcoin divergence, Roth IRA illusions, and navigating post-truth chaos offer a roadmap to sovereignty. If you're orange-pilled on decentralization but questioning elite power, media lies, and financial predictions, this episode is your wake-up call.About Dave CollumX: https://x.com/DavidBCollumChapters:00:00:00 Intro & Post-Truth Era00:02:37 Epstein Files as Distraction00:04:37 MK Ultra Shooters & Mass Shootings00:07:53 Satanism and Power Dynamics00:10:22 Zionist Strategies & Israel-Palestine Conflict00:25:00 U.S.-Russia Relations & Cold War Echoes00:32:06 Media Manipulation & Disinformation00:37:59 Education's Impact on Youth & Woke Culture00:43:40 Market Valuations & Asset Bubbles00:50:49 Federal Reserve's Questionable Influence00:57:59 Economic Trends & Market Predictions01:04:42 Competition, Authenticity & Human Connection01:10:25 Search for Truth in Fabricated Reality01:15:58 Hollywood, CIA & Symbolism01:22:58 Fiction-Reality Intersection01:28:51 Enigma of Ex-CIA Operatives01:36:03 Dark Forces in Geopolitics01:42:42 Illusion of Control & Common Knowledge01:49:41 Roth IRA Financial Illusions01:56:58 Currency Upheaval's Impact02:02:09 Bitcoin vs. Gold: Diverging Paths02:08:38 Market Volatility & Historical Patterns02:14:23 Adrenochrome, Child Sacrifice & Satanic Cults02:20:21 MK Ultra Survivors & Trauma Effects02:26:39 Trafficking, Mind Control & Public Figures02:32:27 Sustainability & Public Perception02:38:15 Financial Systems, Bitcoin Resilience & Wrap-Up⚡ POWERED by Abundant Mines: Fully managed Bitcoin mining. In 1961, 23-year-old Michael Rockefeller – heir to one of America's wealthiest families and son of future Vice President Nelson Rockefeller – disappeared without a trace in the remote swamps of Dutch New Guinea (now West Papua). While collecting primitive art from the Asmat people, his boat capsized in treacherous waters. He tied gas cans to his body and swam toward shore, famously saying, "I think I can make it."He was never seen again. For decades, the official story was drowning. But persistent rumors – backed by journalist investigations, eyewitness accounts from Asmat villagers, and books like Carl Hoffman's Savage Harvest – point to a far darker fate: ritual killing and cannibalism as revenge in a culture built around headhunting and sacred violence. In this episode, we dive deep into the mystery: the colonial clashes that set the stage, the Asmat's complex worldview, the exhaustive searches, cover-up allegations, and the chilling evidence that Michael may have been speared, beheaded, and consumed in a ceremonial act.Was it tragedy, murder, or something lost in cultural collision? In 2009, the body of a former president of the Republic of Cyprus, Tassos Papadopoulos, was stolen from his grave. The Time of the Cannibals reconsiders this history and the public discourse on it to reconsider how we think about conspiracy theory, and specifically, what it means to understand conspiracy theories “in context.” The months after Papadopoulos's body was stolen saw intense public speculation in Cyprus, including widespread expressions of sacrilege, along with many false accusations against Cypriots and foreigners positioned as his political antagonists. Davis delves into the public discourse on conspiracy theory in Cyprus that flourished in the aftermath, tracing theories about the grave robbery to theories about the division of Cyprus some thirty-five years earlier, and both to longer histories of imperial and colonial violence. Along the way, Davis explores cross-contextual connections among Cyprus and other locales, in the form of conspiracy theories as well as political theologies regarding the dead bodies of political leaders. Through critical close readings of academic and journalistic approaches to conspiracy theory, Davis shows that conspiracy theory as an analytic object fails to sustain comparative analysis, and defies any general theory of conspiracy theory. What these approaches accomplish instead, she argues, is the perpetuation of ethnocentrism in the guise of contextualization. The Time of the Cannibals: On Conspiracy Theory and Context (Fordham UP, 2024) asks what better kind of contextualization this and any “case” call for, and proposes the concept of conspiracy attunement: a means of grasping the dialogic contexts in which conspiracy theories work recursively as matters of political and cultural significance in the long durée. Elizabeth Anne Davis is Professor of Anthropology at Princeton University. Her research and writing, grounded in the European horizons and the Ottoman history of the Greek-speaking world, focus on the intersections of psyche, body, history, and power. She is also the author of Bad Souls: Madness and Responsibility in Modern Greece (2012, Duke Press) and Artifactual: Forensic and Documentary Knowing (2023, Duke Press). In a dystopian Milan, a failed revolution has left the Fascists in charge and the streets littered with dead rebels. Antigone (Britt Ekland) seems to be the only sane person left, determined to defy the authorities and her parents to retreive the body of her brother and give him a proper burial. When she meets a mysterious man who has great hair but speaks an unknown language (played by Pierre Clementi), their destinies in this strange tyrannical world become entwined. Oh, and also her boyfriend is Tomas Milian. In this episode we are exploring the early work of the important and often controversial director Liliana Cavani, and although we have not started a cannibal film mini-season (as has been frequently requested by some listeners), this is still a fascinating and important piece of work which was neglected at the time but is hopefully becoming reappraised, at least by us. Join us for some serious discussion about the impact Cavani's early television documentary work had on her subsequent cinema career, the often unsung but heroic work of background extras, and whether or not that really is Britt Ekland running naked through the streets of Milan. We would love to hear from you about your favourite Italian female filmmakers, or your recommendations for other late 1960s revolutionary films. She talks with art and culture historian Brigitte van der Sande, who has spent 25 years studying how war is represented in art—research that brought her to many active conflict zones. Two Girls One Ghost
Episode 338 - Boon Island, Maine | Cannibals & Hauntings

Two Girls One Ghost

Off the coast of Maine lies a bleak, windswept rock known as Boon Island. For centuries, sailors have washed ashore here only to face madness, starvation, and the unthinkable. Desperate acts of cannibalism, whispers of spectral figures, and the lonely shadow of its lighthouse keeper's ghost make Boon Island's history as chilling as the Atlantic waters that surround it. In this episode, we dive into tales of survival gone horribly wrong, the tragic love story of a lighthouse keeper's wife who may still haunt the rocky shores, and eerie encounters that make mariners swear the island is alive with restless spirits. Join us as we uncover its cursed legacy of cannibals, curses, and one heartbreakingly heroic lady in white. Watch the video version here. Have ghost stories of your own? E-mail them to us at twogirlsoneghostpodcast@gmail.com New Episodes are released every Thursday and Sunday at 12am PST/3am EST (the witching hour, of course). Corinne and Sabrina hand select a couple of paranormal encounters from our inbox to read in each episode, from demons, to cryptids, to aliens, to creepy kids... the list goes on and on. Mókus, hamis Rolex, Harlem és a magyar rap hőskora – Animal Cannibals Amerikában   Ebben a MÓKA Podcast epizódban két ikonikus magyar figura, Qka MC és Ricsipí, vagyis az Animal Cannibals, mesélnek az első amerikai útjukról.   Hogyan jutottak be Amerikába? Miért kellett CD-t feláldozni a vízumért?

Hi friends, happy Tuesday! I've been putting out episodes of MMM for a while now, but occasionally I come across a story that shakes me to my core. And keeps me up at night. This is one of them. The story of Ottis Toole (and his literal partner in crime Henry Lee Lucas) involves cannibalism, a cult and even a cameo by Ted Bundy. The horrific actions of Ottis even went on to help inspire the man who created of a TV show we all remember from our youth... America's Most Wanted. The story of Ottis Toole is one you will not forget for a long time to come. Also, I sometimes talk about my Good Reads in the show. So here's the link if you want to check it out. Recent finds in the Atapuerca site in Spain have confirmed and expanded our understanding of the tates and culinary practices of Homo antecessor.  This species is enigmatic and its place in the evolutionary tree unclear. But what is very clear is that it was cannibalistic. And on a large scale.  It had a taste for young hominins, probably from competing tribes. How, you ask, could we possibly know that?In this epsiode of The History of Being Human, we cover everything we know and how we know it.  Height, habitus, habits, diet of animals and hominins, and behavior.  This episode expands significantly on the previous consideration of archaic human cannibalism in episode 3.  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-history-of-being-human--5806452/support.
