Our TARDIS has finally landed again. This time in 1930s Berlin for the fantastic Big Finish set "Doctor Who - The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield - Blood and Steel" featuring the incomparable David Warner as the Doctor and Lisa Bowerman (who else?) as his greatest companion Benny.
Our TARDIS has landed once again and this time we're talking about the audio book of James Goss's 2017 novel "Doctor Who and the Krikkit Men". "Doctor Who and the Krikkit Men" is adapted from a story by the late, great Douglas Adams and this BBC audio book is performed by none other than Dan Starkey (who you may know as Strax or various other Sontarans on Doctor Who). Returning to the Junkyard this week are PBJ co-host Assad Khaishgi and Larry VanMersbergen from the Doctor Who Collectors Podcast. Send feedback on this or any of our episodes to videojunkyardpodcast@gmail.com or join the discussion on the Facebook Group (www.facebook.com/groups/526688614899377/). Hope to hear from you! Theme music by Ron Grainer and arranged as "Doctor Who Retro Theme" by Neon Frontier. All rights to Doctor Who and its related materials belong to the BBC.

This week's episode was late thanks to some bees that hadn't been kept in their hives. They took a Ferrari out for a test drive and let me tell you... Have you ever seen a car dealership/hotel/beekeeping place like this? Our TARDIS crew hasn't and that's just the beginning of their problems!! The other being this weird game of hide and seek Jeff is playing with Adric... DON'T LOOK IN THE MIRROR! Queue up your DVD player! Or media file! We’ll tell you when to press play Season 19, episode 3 "Castrovalva" so you can watch the story along with us. Don't worry if you don't have access to the episode though, you can easily listen to the podcast on its own for a different, if slightly more (or less!) confusing, experience.
Why is Barbara calling herself Loretta? Is that Spiderman? Is Ian attracted to Barbara? Was that a clip from a Blink 182 song? Our TARDIS crew is stuck in what could be a dream or may be the side effects of too much horny goatweed. Meanwhile, our improv crew can't keep their laughter to themselves and corpse all over the place! Never before has a TV comic book character's theme been used so much in a Doctor Who episode and wait, is that a plot developing...? Queue up your DVD player! Or media file! We’ll tell you when to press play on Part 2 of The Keys of Marinus "The Velvet Web" so you can watch the story along with us. You can also listen to the podcast on its own for a different, if slightly more (or less!) confusing, experience.
