Ep 49: Fashion Fit Technology in the Supply Chain w/ Jessica Couch This week I sat down with Jessica Couch. We had an amazing conversation about fit, the supply chain and technology and how it effects emerging designers and established designers and retailers. Bust out your pen and paper because your going to want to take notes. Jessica is a fit technology expert, strategist, advisor, writer and speaker. She is the founder of Luxor + Finch Consulting. Jessica received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University's College of Textiles in Fashion Product Development and her Master’s in Digital Innovation and Fit from Cornell University under the guidance of Professor Susan P. Ashdown. In 2018, she received her certificate for Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from University of Virginia. Since the completion of her Master’s, she has worked with and advised numerous companies, brands and retailers in the fit technology space. Jessica has published over 70 articles on the matter of fit and fit tech, a thesis on fit and perception and curated events and panels on the subject of fashion and fit technology. Jessica Couch is the founder of the consulting agency Luxor & Finch, where she works with brands, advising them on strategic, data-driven planning. She has worked with numerous companies in the fit technology space and has published over 60 articles on the matter of fit and fit tech, a thesis on fit and perception, and values corporate responsibility as a whole, emphasizing inclusion, sustainability, and improved practices around fit. She is also the co-creator (along with previous guest Brittany Hicks) of the WOC #FashTech Brunch (links below). Her knowledge runs deep, her Bachelor’s degree is from NC State University’ College of Textile, and her Master’s is in Digital Innovation and Fit from Cornell University (a curriculum she developed under the guidance of Professor Susan P.
