Although we recorded this episode in July, our summer programming at Spectrum Creative Arts hit us like a storm! Now back in the swing of Fall, we finally had time to dig through our old recordings of the episode and piece it altogether. JamTrack: Wade shares his summer mode ideas and our duo creates a beautiful improvisation on organ, guitar, and bells. See what changes are made to the pentatonic mode to give a more "summery" feel. In Session: Megan shares her "Slow It Down" song inspired by Jason Mraz's song "I Won't Give Up". Wade shares an original camping song, We're Camping" to work on expressive language skills. Download the PDF slideshow here: We're Camping. Former intern Alison Yanda adds her vocals. Resource Booth: Featured resources include "Lucy Ladybird" an interactive storybook app, "Constantly Speaking" website and blog for speech therapy ideas, "Teach Piano Today" a website with a ton of free resources, games, and visuals for piano, "Compose Create" a website with great piano resources and rhythmic challenge games, "Conversation Therappy Lite" an app to sequencially work on expressive language skills centered around a picture, and "Naming Therappy" an app designed to walk you through cues when trying to names specific items in a picture.
