AmbassadorsAt the birth of the Church, demon worship and human sacrifice covered every continent. Then the Church advanced -- and the world changed. The Gospel of the Kingdom proved itself as the most powerful civilizational force in human history. But in our generation, many have forgotten who we are.Romans Chapter 1 describes a spiral of destruction that begins when a culture suppresses the truth. We can see that road clearly today. But there is an off-ramp -- and it is the Gospel. The Church is not a bystander to cultural collapse. We are the answer God has sent. We are the Body of Christ, and where the Body shows up and holds the line, the spiral stops. We are not waiting for a solution. We are the solution. In this message, Pastor Robbie Patterson draws from the Book of Joel and 2 Timothy Chapter 2 to expose three types of men -- and Satan has two of them working for him. ➡️The passive man who retreats. ➡️The aggressive man who destroys. But God is calling you to be something else entirely -- the assertive Kingdom man. The Ambassador of Jesus Christ who advances the Gospel with purpose, authority, and love.We are living inside Joel's prophecy right now. On the Day of Pentecost, Peter stood up and declared, This is what Joel was talking about. The Spirit was poured out, the Church was born, and the advance began. Joel's next chapter maps the spiritual warfare that followed -- the same warfare Jesus described, the same battle laid out in the letters to the churches. That war is still being fought. And we are in the middle of it.Darkness was defeated at the cross. The mission was not retired -- it was launched.People are waking up across America. Joel said it -- beat your plowshares into swords. This is our window. Before the King returns to fully establish His reign, we are called to live as His ambassadors in a fallen world. Not passive. Not reckless. ➡️Assertive. Purposeful. Unashamed. That is not a burden. It is an honor. It's time to be an Ambassador.#ChristIsKingLiveLikeIt #CiKM #Ambassadors #Ekklesia #GospelOfTheKingdom

Bible Study - 1 Timothy Chapter 1 - Episode 1
In the original Greek of 1 Timothy Chapter 3, in verse 11, we encounter a word which presents some difficulty in translation, speaking either about the wives of deacons, or about women who are deacons. In today's message, Pastor Phil studies a number of good reasons given for both possible translations, and teaches that, as a principle, we learn from this verse that women can do diaconal work.
In 1 Timothy Chapter 3, Paul lays out the necessary qualifications for an elder in the church. In today's message, Pastor Phil reviews these qualifications, shows how the text points to the role of elder being reserved for men in the church, and answers common objections to the complementarian understanding of this passage.

"This is a personal letter to Timothy, son of a Greek father and a Jewish mother. He was converted during Paul's visit, to Lystra (Acts 16.1). He became Paul's special protégé, and, though evidently diffident and nervous in temperament, was his loyal assistant. He accompanied Paul on various missions and has now been left in charge of the church at Ephesus". - From the introduction. Originally published in Letters to Young Churches.

Welcome to "The Bible in Today's World", the show that compares today's world with the Word of God. In general and specifically, are we following the Bible in our daily walks? Is society demanding that we follow the Word of God in all that we do? Does our Almighty Father look upon us and frequently say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" - or is He thinking of us as He thought/thinks of Sodom and Gomorrah? On today's show, we will discuss 2 Timothy - Chapter 4.

As Paul nears death, he reflects on finishing his race and keeping the faith, confident of the crown of righteousness and the Lord's deliverance into His heavenly kingdom.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/lets-talk-scripture/donations
2 Timothy 3 warns that the last days will be marked by widespread ungodliness—people loving themselves and pleasure rather than God, while only maintaining an outward form of religion. Paul contrasts this corruption with Timothy's calling: to follow his example of faith, endurance, and suffering for Christ. The chapter closes with the reminder that all Scripture is God-breathed, profitable for teaching, correction, and training, fully equipping the servant of God for every good work.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/lets-talk-scripture/donations
