The Texas primaries are complete and now we look to November where the big race is with Ken Paxton vs. James Talarico. Sean speaks to Talarico's public statements about Christianity, “Christian nationalism,” gender (including a clip where Talarico claims God is non-binary), and abortion (including his argument about Mary's consent). Sean argues these are distortions of scripture and warns believers about deception and a “different gospel,” while emphasizing love for people, compassion for women facing unwanted pregnancies, and participation in elections without bitterness. 00:00 Welcome and Camp Plans01:10 Spurs Game and City Culture03:57 Election Matchup Preview04:51 Talarico Claims and Straw Men09:44 Trans Ideology and Kids11:20 God Is Nonbinary Clip15:07 Abortion Consent Argument19:43 Pastors Politics and False Teachers22:19 How Believers Should Respond23:08 God Is Series and Closing

Colossians 2:16-19

MY Devotional: Daily Encouragement from Leading The Way

Jude knew that deceivers don't merely confuse ideas—they lure believers toward ungodliness and weaken the Church's witness. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef walks through Jude's practical, battle-tested blueprint for standing firm when false teaching pressures the people of God. First: Know the Word. Jude warns that false teachers twist Scripture and “do not have the Spirit” (Jude 1:19). The antidote is biblical discernment: when you know God's Word deeply, distortion becomes obvious. Second: Insulate your soul. Jude calls believers to “build yourselves up” in the faith and to “pray in the Holy Spirit” (Jude 1:20)—praying as the Spirit leads and obeying His promptings. That Spirit-led prayer life strengthens you from within. Third: Stay close to the Father. Jude says this lifestyle keeps you “in God's love” (Jude 1:21). Dr. Youssef connects this to the prodigal son: the Father's love never changed, but the son only experienced its warmth when he returned home. Staying near God keeps you from becoming an easy target. Finally: Be involved with people. Jude calls us to mercy toward doubters (Jude 1:22) while remaining wise and firm against deceivers—speaking truth in love with both conviction and compassion. This devotional equips you to protect the flock, extend grace to the lost, and resist error without losing a heart for sinners. Prayer: Lord, may I proclaim the hope of Christ to the lost and call false teachers to repentance, pushing back against their deception for the strengthening of the Church. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “Keep yourself in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life” (Jude 1:21). Learn more in Dr. Michael A. Scripture is unmistakably clear: Jesus will return in glory to judge the nations, separating those who received Him from those who rejected Him (Matthew 25:31–32). Yet false teachers deny or dilute this reality, replacing repentance and holiness with a softened message that cannot save. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef unpacks Jude's urgent imagery for apostate teachers—portraits designed to help believers recognize danger before spiritual shipwreck occurs: “Hidden reefs” at your love feasts (Jude 1:12): beneath-the-surface threats that damage the church while “feeding only themselves.” “Clouds without rain” (v. 12): loud, trend-driven voices that promise refreshment but deliver only disappointment. “Autumn trees… without fruit and uprooted” (v. 12): spiritually barren leaders who leave others malnourished and are ultimately “twice dead.” “Wild waves” and “wandering stars” (vv. 13): chaotic influences that produce wreckage and provide no true direction—drifting farther from biblical Truth. Jude then lifts our eyes to the certainty apostates try to erase: the Lord is coming with holy ones to judge everyone (Jude 1:14–15). For the unrepentant, that day will bring terror. But for believers who long for His appearing, it will be a day of joy—when we see the signs of His return and “lift up [our] heads” with expectation (Luke 21:28). Prayer: Lord, may I pursue Your Truth revealed in Your Word with confidence and joyfully prepare for the day of Your return. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.  “They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever” (Jude 1:13). Learn more in Dr. Michael A. Jude understood the wreckage false teachers can leave behind: polluted witness, weakened biblical authority, and a “cult of personality” that distracts from following Christ. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef unpacks Jude's strong language—calling these apostates “dreamers” who crave their own glory while denying the true Gospel (Jude 1:8). Because they often appear spiritual on the outside, Jude gives believers three vivid clues—each rooted in a familiar Old Testament story: The way of Cain (Jude 1:11; Genesis 4): choosing self-made religion over God's revealed way—twisting worship into self-expression and resisting repentance. Balaam's error (Jude 1:11; Numbers 22–24): using spiritual influence for profit, following feelings instead of Truth, and harming God's people through compromise. Korah's rebellion (Jude 1:11; Numbers 16): ego-driven leadership that refuses God's appointed authority and turns ministry into a power grab—destructive and doomed. Dr. Youssef reminds us that apostates dream of salvation without a Savior, peace without repentance, and unity without Christ. But believers are not helpless. Christ has equipped His people to recognize falsehood, hold fast to the Gospel, and push back against deception—for the glory of His name. Prayer: Lord, may I be alert to the schemes of the enemy and bold to confront false teaching in my midst out of zeal for Your name. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings” (Jude 1:8). The most dangerous false teacher doesn't look dangerous—he looks trustworthy. Summary Using James Talarico as a contemporary case study, this message examines how theological drift happens inside the church rather than outside it. The concern is not merely one individual, but a pattern where biblical language remains while biblical meanings slowly change through redefinition, emotional appeals, shifting authority, and cultural accommodation. Through passages like 2 Peter 2, Acts 20, and Matthew 7, believers are reminded that false teaching rarely begins with outright denial but with subtle revisions to historic Christian doctrine. Ultimately, the lesson calls Christians to become Bereans who test every teacher—including James Talarico, pastors, influencers, and denominational leaders—against the authority of Scripture. Reflection & Small Group Discussion Questions 1. Why does Scripture repeatedly warn about false teachers arising from within the church rather than outside it? 2. What makes theological drift more difficult to recognize than outright heresy? 3. Why is charisma, intelligence, or compassion not enough to determine whether a teacher is biblically sound? 4. How does redefining biblical terms like love, sin, salvation, or repentance change the gospel itself? 5. Why are emotional stories powerful, and how can they sometimes become substitutes for biblical authority? 6. What does it mean to let Scripture interpret culture rather than letting culture reinterpret Scripture? 7. Why is the question of authority ultimately at the center of most theological debates? 8. How does theological drift often move across generations according to the examples discussed in the lesson? 9. What are some modern examples where Christians may be tempted to prioritize cultural acceptance over biblical faithfulness? 10. How can you practically become more like the Bereans in Acts 17:11 and test what you hear against Scripture?

This episode is both a recap and a charge: don't drift, don't forget, and don't stop growing.

MY Devotional: Daily Encouragement from Leading The Way

What happens when Christians stop contending for the faith and choose silence instead? In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef highlights three warnings from Jude that expose the dangers of indifference toward false teaching and spiritual drift. Israel after the Exodus (Jude 1:5): God delivered His people, yet many later doubted Him—believing obstacles were bigger than God's promises. Their unbelief led to prolonged wandering and loss of blessing. Dr. Youssef warns that apathy toward truth can similarly rob believers of God's best—His power for victory. Rebellious angels (Jude 1:6): Just as Satan deceived many, spiritual leaders can drift through apathy and pull others with them. It often starts when believers stop contending for the faith, resulting in loss of influence and spiritual effectiveness. Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot's slow compromise (Jude 1:7): Lot moved closer to sin step by step—distressed by evil, yet passive. In the end, judgment came and he lost dearly, showing how spiritual apathy can cost privilege and stability. Dr. Youssef's message is clear: apathy produces loss—but contending for the faith is faithful service to our mighty King. This devotional will challenge you to reject passivity, stand on Scripture, and speak truth with courage and love. Prayer: God, I pray against apathy in my life and ask for Your wisdom and love to guide me in sharing the hope of Christ with those inside and outside the church. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe” (Jude 1:5). MY Devotional: Daily Encouragement from Leading The Way

God has entrusted believers with something priceless: the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef challenges Christians to embrace their responsibility as custodians of Gospel Truth—passing it to the next generation unmodified, unwatered-down, and unchanged. But here's the danger: many believers rarely open their Bibles, and “we cannot contend for something we don't know.” When Scripture is neglected, deception becomes inevitable, and false teachers flourish—often appearing kind and spiritually polished while quietly draining the Gospel of its saving power. As Paul warned, they may have “a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5). Dr. Youssef reminds us that contending isn't about quarrelsome pride—it's about love for God and love for the lost. The true Gospel transforms people from the inside out, and that's exactly why it is worth defending. This devotional will strengthen you to know, love, and live the faith—so you can recognize error, speak truth with grace, and hold fast to the whole counsel of God. Prayer: Lord, thank You for the transforming, saving power of Your Gospel. May I be bold to stand against false teaching out of love for You, Your Truth, and the lost in need of redemption. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you” (Jude 1:4). Learn more in Dr. Michael A. Let nothing be done through selfish ambitionor conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better thanthemselves. Let each one of you look not only for his own interests, but alsofor the interests of others.” Now,if you have been with us through chapter 1, you know that the Apostle Paul iswriting from a Roman prison. Yet his letter is saturated with joy. The wholebook teaches that if you want real joy, you must have the right mindset. Youneed a mindset that is fixed on Jesus Christ. Chapter 1 tells us you need asingle mind: “For me to live is Christ.” Paul wrote that this mindsetkeeps our joy steady, no matter what our circumstances might be. Now,as we come to chapter 2, Paul introduces the next great secret of Christianjoy. It is the submissive mind—a mind that is submitted to the Lordshipand the will of God. The church at Philippi was a wonderful congregation. Theywere generous, loving, and courageous in their faith. But they were not withoutproblems. My friend, that reminds us there is no perfect church. If you everfind the perfect church, I have heard it said many times, that once you joinit, it will not be perfect anymore. Yousee, the church is not a congregation of people trying to display theirspiritual trophies. It is a place where lost sinners, broken sinners, andbroken people can find hope in Jesus Christ. And it is a place where savedsinners can learn to live for Christ and display His glory. Thechurch is a wonderful place. But the Apostle Paul had heard, while in prison, through Epaphroditus that two prominent women in the church, Euodia andSyntyche, were in conflict. Their disagreement had the potential to divide thewhole church. At the same time, there were pressures from the outside. Falseteachers were pressing in, trying to disrupt the truth of the gospel. Paulunderstood something very clearly about the church: disunity is one of Satan'sfavorite weapons. It grieves the Lord, weakens the church, and damages itswitness to the world. So Paul, before giving one of the greatest examples ofhumility and submission in verses 5–11—the example of the Lord Jesus Christ—he firstlays a foundation in verses 1–4. Nowlisten very carefully. In these first four verses we just read, he appeals tothe highest spiritual motives. Because we are in Christ, because we havereceived the comfort of His love, the fellowship of His Spirit, and the tendermercies of God, we are called to live in unity. Paul is not calling for outwarduniformity forced by rules. He is calling for inward spiritual unity that flowsfrom hearts that are right with Christ and right with one another. Thekey verse here is found in verse 3, where he writes, “Let nothing be donethrough selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteemothers better than themselves.” In chapter 1, it was Christ first. Inchapter 2, it is others next. And Paul gives us four examples of humility and asubmissive mind in this chapter: the Lord Jesus Christ in verses 5–11, theApostle Paul himself in verses 12–18, Timothy in verses 19–24, and Epaphroditusin verses 25–30. Hegives us these examples to show what it truly means to have a submissive mind. But everything begins right here in verses 1–4. If we understand and applythese verses, the rest of the chapter will come alive. My friend, as we studythis chapter together, may God help our hearts to be open to His holy Word. Mayour hearts be open to live in submission to His truth, and in submission to theLord Jesus Christ. What a difference it will make in our churches and in theworld around us.

Pastor Joe Smith of Meizon Church (Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) explains that he doesn't care what Paul says in the bible. Middle Church pastor says if you believe God appointed/ ordained/ instituted a "rapist, criminal, weasel from hell"  like Trump to be president, then you aren't a Christian. "I'm about to blow your mind. If Jesus walked the earth, and was not sick, and he lives inside of us, how are we sick? " 'Mary Jo' on the Shieldmaidens podcast, doing the opposite of blowing minds. Bethel Church's Kris Valloton says the reason you can raise the dead and heal the sick is because you're a god

Now he preaches religion and has also written books on Christianity. Russell Brand casually admitting he's a pedophile on Megyn Kelly's podcast while she just sat there unbothered is one of the most disturbing things I've seen. Megyn Kelly, on Russel Brand back in 2023: “If he had sex with a 16 year old when he was 31, I'm done, I'm not his fan. I am perfectly comfortable condemning that full force.” He literally admitted it on her show yesterday and she said nothing. Russell Brand: "This isn't the time to play it safe. Jesus is real, and so is the devil... Preach truth. Refute darkness. Revival requires courage." Piers Morgan asked Russell Brand which passages were relevant to him when he brought a Bible into court. Unbelievable. Russell Brand suggests Jesus was thinking the apostles were idiots. The Hearts of Many Will Grow Cold: Hasan Piker and The New York Times are 764 for the Elites - Faith & FlagThis mom shares what happened when her 11-year-old daughter was touched on the bum by a boy in class — a teacher's own son, who had done it to other girls too. WARNING: Evil Predators Hunted and Killed a 15-Year-Old Girl. This is not a game — it's pure evil targeting our kids right now. Parents, wake up and check their phones. Hassan Piker urges his audience to assassinate senators, stating: “If you cared about Medicare fraud, you would kill Rick Scott.” In what world is it acceptable for Democrats to campaign with him? Hasan Piker says that many “understand” Luigi Mangione killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson because Thompson himself was guilty of “social murder” NYT Reporter: "40% of Gen-Z felt that murder was morally justified. It's scary to be in a society where people feel murder is morally justified." HASAN: "Engels wrote about the concept of social murder and Brian Thompson as the United Healthcare CEO was engaging in a tremendous amount of social murder."I Saw Jesus Christ at at Gen-Z Wedding  - Faith & Family A dad with dementia who hadn't recognized his own daughter for a while suddenly remembered her on her wedding day. She surprised him with a canvas and paintbrush right before the ceremony, knowing painting was something they used to enjoy together. As he started painting, the familiar motion triggered a brief moment of clarity and he immediately recognized his daughter. He ended up walking her down the aisle. Beautiful. Video: Network Media LLC & Olivia (WatchTheOliviaShow).

SEGMENT 1 • Todd sits down to talk false teachers, the importance of church, and more with Justin Peters and Emeal Zwayne. • Why do so many people follow false teachers who clearly exploit them? • Most of those who follow false teachers aren't just confused—they may be trusting a completely different gospel. SEGMENT 2 • Todd remarks that Justin represents a rare combination when calling out false teachings. • Gentleness isn't weakness—it's power under control, and Scripture commands it. • There are two dangerous ditches: ignoring error and obsessing over it. Are you falling into one of those? SEGMENT 3 • Why do some truth-driven Christians still come across as harsh or combative? • Real gentleness flows from remembering who you were before Christ saved you. • Can people tell if you genuinely care—or if they're just another “project” or argument to win? SEGMENT 4 • There seems to be one common denominator between those Christians who struggle to grow and mature. • Lone-ranger Christians often become the harshest, most unteachable voices. • Beautiful things happen when you actually combine Scripture, community, and obedience. ___ Thanks for listening! In this episode, Douglas Wilson opens with commentary on Candace Owens and the fallout surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination, then turns to Scripture's language about an evil and adulterous generation, spiritual unfaithfulness, and the way false teachers exploit lust under religious pretenses, before closing with a review of David Talcott's Plato and a reflection on whether Plato deserves a more sympathetic reading than he is often given. For more from Doug, subscribe to Canon+: https://canonplus.com/

2 Corinthians 11:1-15 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - The true Jesus suffered unspeakably. The true Spirit groans with this suffering world. The true gospel is a message of a crucified Lord. But some people don't resonate with that. They prefer another Jesus, a different spirit, and ultimately a different gospel. And I think it's because a suffering Messiah, a groaning Spirit and a cruciform message might point to a difficult form of discipleship. We'd rather have a therapeutic Jesus, an inspirational spirit, and a prosperity gospel. Because that would allow us to pursue the American dream with comfort and ease. My friends, we can't compromise on the truth. Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” May the Lord grant us courage and faith to follow him alone.

What if the altar call you attended wasn't from God at all? And what if the spirit being imparted had nothing to do with the Holy Spirit? These aren't hypothetical questions, they're the testimonies of real believers who've come to us with real experiences.Joshua Lewis has spent over five years wrestling with an uncomfortable question: can a Christian receive a demonic impartation from a false teacher? In this episode, he lays out the biblical case, engages the hard testimonies, and refuses to give an easy answer, because the scriptures don't offer one.The goal of this episode isn't to make you afraid of every altar call. It's to make you fluent enough in the true gospel that you can tell the real thing from a counterfeit. Because the shield isn't fear -- it's the gospel itself. Know it well enough to recognize when someone is preaching another Jesus, another spirit, another gospel (2 Corinthians 11:4). That discernment could be the thing that keeps you free.0:00 – Introduction0:43 – Demonic Impartation Defined1:59 – Syncretism in Charismatic Movement4:42 – Courts of Heaven Examined7:14 – Gnosticism & Altered States8:42 – False Apostles, False Spirits11:41 – Paul Cain Case Study15:27 – Kenneth Copeland Warning16:23 – Fellowship with Demons18:32 – Luke 11 Reconsidered21:12 – Gospel as Discernment ShieldINTRO TO DELIVERANCE MINISTRY: https://www.theremnantradio.com/intro-to-deliverance-ministry___________________________________________INTRODUCTION TO DELIVERANCE MINISTRY eCoursePRESALE: $100 OFF through May 1 LEARN MORE: https://www.theremnantradio.com/intro-to-deliverance-ministry Support the showABOUT THE REMNANT RADIO:

Jase spots a bug crawling in a stranger's hair and steps in to remove it himself, triggering a mix of relief, shock, and secondhand embarrassment. Al and Zach join Jase's attempt to detect a subtle message from a Pink Floyd hit about who—or what—is really influencing us. The guys lay out a clear, practical litmus test for recognizing false prophets, especially when faith starts to look more like a business than truth. They confront the real damage that can be done when spiritual voices miss the moment people need them most, and how to hold onto what's real when everything else feels twisted.
