Utah prosecutors argued in their bindover memorandum that the evidence presented during Tyler Robinson's five-day preliminary hearing easily established probable cause for him to stand trial on all seven charges connected to the killing of Charlie Kirk. The state pointed to Robinson's alleged admissions to his roommate, Lance Twiggs, and several friends, including messages in which he reportedly acknowledged shooting Kirk, described planning the attack for more than a week and discussed retrieving or concealing the rifle. According to the state, Robinson's alleged statements showed both an intent to kill and a motive rooted in hostility toward Kirk's beliefs, while his purported efforts to hide the weapon and influence Twiggs supported the additional charges.
