Engaging supporters is essential to the successful funding and distribution of films. This workshop led by Frank Colin connects filmmakers with their audiences. Christina Raia is a New York City based Writer/Director, the Founder of CongestedCat Productions, and a Crowdfunding Specialist at Seed&Spark. Her work - a collection of short films, a web series, and a feature film - has gained a large online following through multiple crowdfunding campaigns. Seed&Spark is the world’s only streaming and crowdfunding destination, supporting inclusive films and film-related projects with funding, audience building, and distribution

Landscape Architecture graduate Jason Jeon shares his innovative Thesis project with current students and talks about what he has been up to since graduation. Jeon's project explores creating an immersive experience for landscape architectural design using the latest technologies in the field of game design.

See how Jaguar and Academy of Art University partnered to offer Academy students the opportunity to work under the direction of the Jaguar global design team.

Academy of Art University students work in collaboration with real world architects of the post-industrial world, to create a floating structure in the sky. Starting with materials, design, and concept, the students move from initial idea birth, to complete and full construction at Ocean Beach all in an effort to offer a bird's eye view of the trail's end to the west.

In a collaboration between the city of San Francisco, the San Francisco zoo, and the Academy of art University, fine Art Sculpture student Van Hong Nguyen has a sizable public artwork piece installed at the SF Zoo entitled 'Soul Connection'.

Under his design leadership, the firm has developed an international reputation for its collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach, establishing an award-winning tradition across an unprecedented range of design disciplines. His vision has always been to create complete environments – outside and inside – and to design all the elements that give each place its character.

Following the special premier of "Where's Roman," a collaboration between Academy instructors, Hollywood filmmakers and Academy of Art University students, film director Jack Perez, hosts a special Q & A session on the making of the film.
