It is the starting line for any real service in the body of Christ, because every gift, every ounce of usefulness, and every opportunity to speak for Jesus is received from God, leaving no room for boasting.From there we get very practical about reverence and the way we handle Scripture. We talk about biblical precision, the temptation to turn ministry into performance, and why “Christian content” is not automatically holy just because it uses Christian words. If the gospel really is the power of God unto salvation, then we cannot treat it like entertainment, a skit, or a way to build a platform. Souls are not won through hype. They are won through the preached Word, shared with seriousness, clarity, and conviction.We also dig into what it means to be one body with many members. Not everyone has the same office, but nobody is exempt from gospel proclamation. What happens when we start treating God's kingdom as though it belongs to us? In this episode, Jesus tells a parable about tenants who reject the prophets, kill the Son, and convince themselves that they can seize the inheritance for themselves. We explore why the fruits of the kingdom aren't something we produce or control, but faith in the Son whom God sent—and why the cornerstone we reject is the very Christ who gives us mercy.GOSPEL Matthew 21:33-4633 "Listen to another parable. The Church of the Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie Lou Famoso's Near-Death Tunnel, Heaven's Golden City, and the Faces of the Mother and Father God In a solo, thirty-minute broadcast, Reverend Blake Rubie continues his tour of heaven, retelling a Vietnam veteran's fatal 1964 Mustang crash and tunnel-of-light experience before describing heaven's living flowers, golden city, and the faces of the Mother and Father God. A Shorter Show Continues Last Week's Heaven Talk Reverend Blake Rubie opens The Church of the Soul's Evolution on Saturday, September 26th, thanking Doug from BBS Radio and TV for finishing a new seven-minute theme song, Grey Brain, Golden Soul, which he says is strong enough to become a mainstream hit. He tells listeners this broadcast is part two, continuing directly from last week's show, where he spoke for thirty minutes about the journey toward that distant world of light, the true source of the soul. He reminds the audience that his programs now run just thirty minutes instead of the longer format he once used, so he must move quickly to finish this second segment on heaven in the time allowed. He explains that the soul serves as the brain of the spirit, and that human beings are not their bodies but their spirits and souls, made of light energy able to live within a fire that would destroy ordinary matter. Lou Famoso's Fatal Mustang Crash Rubie retells the story of Lou Famoso, a Vietnam veteran he calls one of the most complete near-death experiences he knows, who was driving his brand-new 1964 Mustang nearly one hundred miles an hour down a poorly paved country road on a Saturday night. Because those early Mustangs carried heavy front ends, the bumps in the road sent the car out of control, flipping it end over end until it crashed and caught fire. Famoso was thrown clear, since cars of that era lacked seatbelts, and suffered a gaping head wound before his spirit left his body and entered the tunnel Rubie has described on earlier broadcasts. Rubie explains that the tunnel is really nothing more than the sun, ninety-three million miles away, whose light takes about eight minutes to reach Earth. Once the physical eyes and ears are gone, he says, the material universe disappears entirely, leaving only spirit and soul, pulled by the sun's gravity down that tunnel of light toward the point of light in the distance. A World of Brighter Colors and Living Flowers Rubie describes what Famoso and every arriving spirit finds on the other side: a world resembling Earth but two to three hundred percent brighter, where colors leap out and hillsides are covered in living flowers that watch passersby and bounce back up when stepped on. He explains that the spirit itself is translucent, rainbow-colored, and holds the same organs as the body but arranged in mirror fashion, while keeping familiar facial features even as it gains the power to reshape its appearance at will, most citizens choosing to look about thirty years old. Arriving spirits quickly remember their own pre-existence, recalling being carried down through Earth's atmosphere by an angel before birth and placed gently alongside the mother, entering the womb sometime after conception, usually three or four months into gestation. Rubie says the borderlands of heaven are filled with angels of every rank, archangels, cherubim, and seraphim among them, all serving the Mother and Father God, the co-creator gods of this solar system. Angels, the Tree of Life, and Heavenly Feasts Rubie insists that the old story of angels rebelling against God is a fabrication invented by ancient rulers seeking power, since angels, unlike humans, were created without free will and cannot rebel. He describes the trees of life scattered through heaven's borderlands, bearing twelve kinds of fruit that spirits can eat, alongside fields of wheat baked into bread and long feast tables, some two or three hundred meters long, set with gold and silver cutlery, candlesticks, and fountains flowing with water from the river of life. No meat is served, he says, since spirit bodies need no protein, though the leaves of the nations can be smelled to deepen one's spirituality. He tells listeners that Jesus promised to prepare a place for those who love him and the Mother and Father God, describing custom-built mansions already waiting, furnished with whatever a person loves, whether marble floors inlaid with roses or a simple log cabin, all created purely by thought. The Golden City and Its Guarded Throne Room Rubie explains that souls shine with a light matching their spiritual growth, comparing it to a sixty-watt bulb at birth that can brighten across a hundred-year lifetime, so that arriving spirits find themselves mingling with soul groups of similar evolution. Those who reach the holy city pass through one of eight pearl gates, named for tribes such as Benjamin and Manasseh, into streets of gold lined with precious stones and silver fountains, traveling by noiseless chariots piloted by angels that carry fifteen or twenty passengers at a time across the hills and valleys of heaven. At the city's center rises a golden dome marking the throne room, which not every spirit is developed enough to enter, since the light there is said to wash over the unprepared like a hurricane-force wind, leaving them prostrate on the ground. Rubie compares reaching the throne room to earning the rank needed to attend a high-level convention, saying spiritual development alone grants admission to witness the Mother and Father God directly. Face to Face With the Mother and Father God Inside the throne room, Rubie says, Jesus sits on a throne beside the Mother and Father God as a co-creator god in his own right, surrounded by high-ranking angels including Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel, along with ten-foot-tall four-faced cherubim bearing the features of a man, an ox, an eagle, and a lion. He describes King David there as heaven's chief praise leader, playing a golden harp that every arriving soul eventually receives as well. Rubie says beholding the Mother and Father God means looking into eyes full of pools of love, faces marked by both authority and kindness, the Father crowned with snowy white hair and a muscular build, the Mother regal and beautiful like a queen. After the life review and celebration, he says, souls may plan their next incarnation using heaven's libraries and halls of justice before he runs out of time. Rubie closes with a short prayer thanking the Creator for love and existence and asking blessings on all of God's children, signing off until next week.

Soul of the host, withdrawn from its podcast. Welcome back to Describing the Skybox! Today, and honestly, a bit on a whim, we're going to be talking about Demon's Souls! Demon's Souls has been out for a very long time, and the impact it has made on modern games is obvious, but there is still something fascinating about a game that went from the lesser-talked about older brother of Dark Souls to the big budget remake system seller title. Demon's Souls is an experimental game, and one that forces the player to be deliberate with their actions. Much less reflex intensive than later titles in the genre, many of the areas and bosses have specific, puzzle-like solutions that ask you to bring certain items or to vary your approach in one way or another, and while it strays from the larger Souls philosophy that says playing well enough can overcome any disadvantage, it has a different kind of charm that will still remind you of your first time through Dark Souls. My larger point here is that if you are someone who was introduced to the series through a later game, I would encourage you to give Demon's Souls a chance, or another chance if you, like me, tried it (twice!) before and bounced off of it. The frustrating elements of the game, of which there are a few, still help put the whole series in context and further highlight the really innovative things this game did. We're going to be talking about how impressive this design was in its original context, the perception (and reality) of the “gimmicky” design of the bosses, and how we really love Valley of Defilement. The Animal Soul has a very intelligent lawyer: Desire often comes first, and then the mind creates sophisticated reasons to justify it. A powerful question is: Did my reason create the desire, or did my desire hire the reason?8. Tikkun begins with the Rational Soul: The Animal Soul is immersed in desire. The G-dly Soul already wants Hashem. The Nefesh HaSichlit can understand both sides and translate Divine truth into language the natural self can absorb.9. Kabbalah educates the translator: Learning, contemplation, and prayer help the mind stop serving every impulse and begin teaching the heart a different way to see reality.10. Iskafya comes before transformation: Sometimes growth begins simply by saying no to an impulse. Over time, deeper work can refine what we actually enjoy and desire.11. What if the most important question in this passage isn't whether you believe in Jesus, but whether Jesus has authority over you? In this episode, we watch the religious leaders try to trap Jesus with a question about his authority, only to have Jesus expose their self-preservation and reveal that the people they considered the worst sinners were entering the kingdom ahead of them. What if the kingdom of heaven isn't fair?
