Living Water for Thirsty Souls | John 4In John 4, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well and offers her something far deeper than water—a life that truly satisfies. In this message, Teaching Pastor John Ciesniewski explores one of the longest and most intimate conversations Jesus has in the Gospels, revealing a Savior who lingers in places of pain, knows our stories completely, and offers living water to thirsty souls. This teaching invites us to consider:Where we've been drawing from wells that never satisfyHow Jesus meets us with compassion, not shameWhat it means to be truly known and deeply lovedHow encountering Jesus reshapes our lives and our missionIf you've ever felt weary, stuck, or caught in the in-between, this message is an invitation to stop running, come into the light, and receive the living water Jesus freely gives.

On this week's Random Encounter, it's all about games featuring cause and effect!First up, Audra is here to chat with us about the time-travelling, Souls-like sequel to 2019's Code Vein: Code Vein II. Though it can occasionally feel like being trapped in a time loop while playing against a Souls-like boss, here the time travel is very literal as you travel back to the past to change the present. Audra has had some mixed opinions on it, so is it worth the time for Souls-like fans? And then Hilary is here to explore inkle's newest game, TR-49. From Overboard! to 80 Days, No two inkle games are alike, and that's certainly the case here. In this narrative deduction game/audio play, you delve through the files of a World War II-era computer to find a book that could save the UK from all-out war. inkle's incredibly detailed writing is fully on display here, but do the gameplay and presentation live up to the narrative?Featuring: Jono Logan, Audra Bowling, and Hilary Andreff; Edited by Jono LoganGet in Touch:RPGFan.comRPGFan ShopEmail us: podcast@rpgfan.comTwitter: @rpgfancomBluesky: @rpgfan.bsky.socialInstagram: @rpgfancomThreads: @rpgfancomFacebook: rpgfancomTwitch: rpgfancomThis Episode's Related Links:Code Vein IITR-49 Review

What does it mean to be the salt of the earth? In today's conversation, Sarah Stenson tells us, “If you want to preach the gospel and help people, you must be sharp and rub salt into their wounds.” This leads to a discussion about the importance of not shying away from naming sin as sin. You need both the Law's accusation and the Gospel's promise to deliver forgiveness. To top it off, it's not up to you as the preacher to deliver the Law and the Gospel. The same word can function on the hearer in both ways. It's up to the Holy Spirit to land that word in your ear and in your heart. CARE OF SOULS - ADDICTIONIn Care of Souls, a special mini-series podcast from Luther House of Study, Lutheran pastors and theologians come together to explore the deeply personal and pastoral task of preaching to and caring for those struggling with life's challenging situations: addiction, death, family disharmony, and more. Rooted in the theology of the cross and the Lutheran tradition of radical grace, this series offers both theological depth and practical guidance for pastors, church workers, and lay leaders. With conversations, real-life stories, and reflections from the front lines of ministry, Care of Souls equips listeners to enter the broken places of addiction not with easy answers, but with the crucified and risen Christ.Because in the end, it's not about fixing people—it's about preaching the Gospel.Listen to Care of Souls wherever you listen to podcasts or on the Luther House website: Care of Souls - AddictionSING TO THE LORD Martin Luther said, "Next to the word of God, the art of music is the greatest treasure in the world." To understand the importance of hymnody in the Lutheran church, Lars Olson and Mason Van Essen sit down with Zachary Brockhoff to discuss the lectionary's hymns, their meaning and history, and how the music preaches the Gospel.

Daily Dose of Hope January 30, 2026   Scripture: I Corinthians 6   Prayer:  Lord Jesus, We come before you this morning, thanking you for a new day.  Lord, you are good and we rejoice in your holy and powerful name.  As we begin our day, Lord, help us focus on you.  Help us set aside our scattered thoughts and focus on your Word and what you want us to learn today.  We get so distracted and self-consumed.  Forgive us for that, Lord.  In these next few moments of silence, help us have laser focus on your voice... In Your Powerful Name, Amen.   Welcome back to the Daily Dose of Hope, the devotional and podcast that complements the daily Bible reading plan at New Hope Church in Brandon, Florida.  We have been journeying through Paul's letters.  Today, we are continuing through our fourth pastoral letter, I Corinthians. Today's reading is I Corinthians 6.  Paul continues to press this issue: Jesus-followers should look different than the culture around them. Why were they allowing secular courts to decide issues that should have been worked out in the church? Why were they getting pulled into disputes that distracted them from the mission in the first place? And then Paul presents a list of wrongdoings which have no place in the church. He is imploring them, "You know better!" You've been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. You are different now, new creations, so behave like it. The second half of the chapter is the discussion about sexual misconduct in the church.  Some of the Christians in Corinth were saying they had been freed from the law and now could do whatever they wanted.  Remember, this was a very sexualized society.  People from the church were still having sex with prostitutes and they were saying it was no big deal.  Afterall, they weren't living under the law. Paul says that you were freed from the Law to love God and love others.    But the issue went deeper.  The Corinthians were kind of like, "eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may die."  They thought that their bodies were temporary and eventually God would be doing away with them, so who cares if they have some casual sex?  It's just biology, just our bodies, right?  Not our souls.  So, what's the big deal?  Well, Paul tells them what the big deal is.   The Corinthians believed in the immortality of the soul. But Christians believe in the resurrection of the body. Because the resurrection of the body is a core doctrine of the Christian faith, we take a very high view of the human body. Paul reminds them of this. The human body is sacred.  God created you, God values you.  We firmly believe that our soul and physical body are interconnected, we can't just separate the two so easily.    This is what Paul is saying:  You can't have sex with someone and not become one flesh with them.  You can't separate body and soul. Sex is not just biology; there's something deeply spiritual about it.  Souls are connecting with one another.  I read this and it feels like Paul is in parent-mode. He is telling the Corinthians to remember who and whose they are! He even tells them he is ashamed of them.  Two thousand years is a long time and yet people are still people. We aren't any better today; I do hope everyone realizes that. Yes, we think we are quite sophisticated. We think we are quite knowledgeable. But, just like the Corinthians, we still forget what it means to belong to Jesus. We still allow the values and temptations of the world to seep into our lives. How often we blend so neatly into the world around us. How often have you believed the same lies that the Corinthians believed? Blessings, Pastor Vicki

What if The Lord of the Rings was never just a story? What if Tolkien was encoding a spiritual map for men living in the modern war for the soul?In this episode of The Manly Catholic, James Caldwell speaks with author and philosopher Paul List, co-author of Mount Doom: The Prophecy of Tolkien Revealed, to expose what Tolkien was really writing about: original sin, virtue and vice, artificial intelligence, and so much more.Paul reveals how Tolkien's mythology is a Catholic psychological map of the human soul. Hobbits as habits. The Ring as addiction. Sauron as AI. Middle-earth as the mind. Vice as Orcs. Virtue as the Fellowship. Faith and reason as elves and men.Temperance, fortitude, prudence, and justice as the cardinal virtues sent on a mission to destroy the Ring. This conversation connects Tolkien to Aquinas, Aristotle, St. Augustine, and how prophetic his beloved stories really are for the modern man.James also issues a direct challenge to men:Stop living passively. Clean up your habits. Reject pornography. Reject the virtual world. Build competence. Build virtue. Cultivate discipline. Become dangerous in holiness. This is not entertainment. This is formation. And neutrality is no longer an option.Push play if you're done being comfortable and ready to become dangerous for Christ.

Hello beautiful Souls!! Have you ever noticed that you're doing “well”… but something still feels off?Like you're responsible, capable, respected, yet somehow stuck inside a version of yourself that feels too small? What if the problem isn't your effort, your skills, or your discipline… What if it's the identity you've been living from?In today's episode, we're talking about a quiet shift, not a hype moment, not a motivational speech, but the kind of internal decision that changes how you lead, how you choose, and how heavy life feels. I'll share the belief I had to unlearn, the question that changed everything for me, and why so many high performers are successful but still living under their real potential. As you listen, you'll feel seen. You'll probably feel uncomfortable in a good way, and you'll start to notice where you've been holding it all together instead of actually expanding. You'll learn how identity drives your limits, why pushing harder isn't the answer, and what happens when you stop asking “can I handle more?” and start asking a different question altogether. While listening, try this: Pay attention to what hits you emotionally. Notice where you feel tension, resistance, or relief. That reaction isn't random, its awareness doing its job. This episode isn't about doing more. It's about who you're becoming next.If something in you knows there's another level calling you forward, this conversation is for you.Remember - YOU have full control of the wheel. With much love and gratitude,NancyListen to this episode now on YouTube or Apple Podcasts, Empower with Nancy.Don't rush it. This week's reading was heavy—emotionally and intellectually. We paired Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass(1845) with W.E.B. DuBois' The Souls of Black Folk (1903), and the contrast was striking.Douglass' firsthand account of slavery is harrowing, beautifully written, and unforgettable. From his stolen childhood to his carefully guarded escape, his story exposes not only the cruelty of slavery but its spiritual damage to everyone caught in its system. His reflections on faith, suffering, and corrupted Christianity are especially powerful. This is one book I believe every American should read.DuBois offers a sociological lens on life after Emancipation—Reconstruction failures, education debates, segregation, and his idea of the “Talented Tenth.” While insightful, his approach felt more theoretical to me than Douglass' lived experience. Both are worth reading—but Douglass, especially, will stay with you.LINKTed Gioia/The Honest Broker's 12-Month Immersive Humanities Course (paywalled!)My Amazon Book List (NOT an affiliate link)CONNECTThe complete list of Crack the Book Episodes: https://cheryldrury.substack.com/p/crack-the-book-start-here?r=u3t2rTo read more of my writing, visit my Substack - https://www.cheryldrury.substack.com.Follow me on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/cldrury/ LISTENSpotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/5GpySInw1e8IqNQvXow7Lv?si=9ebd5508daa245bdApple Podcasts - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/crack-the-book/id1749793321 Captivate - https://crackthebook.captivate.fm

Welcome back to the RPGBOT.Podcast, where today we're talking about Plane of Elysium—the one afterlife that sounds so good the Dungeon Master has to invent mechanics to stop you from moving there permanently. It's paradise. Your needs are met. You're at peace. You're happy. Too happy. In fact, if you stay too long, you might fail a Wisdom save and decide adventuring, heroism, and saving the multiverse are overrated compared to eternal riverfront property and a Mai Tai. And if that sounds suspiciously like quitting D&D to live in a gated community called "Ecstasy," don't worry—we'll explain why enforced happiness, dragon shift-work, and a giant bone spine gate mean Elysium is still absolutely unhinged. Show Notes What Is Elysium? Elysium is the Neutral Good Outer Plane, positioned between the Beastlands and Arborea. It represents true contentment, rest, and fulfillment, rather than law, chaos, or moral absolutism. Souls here aren't punished, tested, or judged—they're finally allowed to relax. The Core Vibe No labor, no scarcity, no stress. Everything you need is provided. Happiness is genuine—unless you're in the gate town, where it absolutely is not. The Four Layers of Elysium Amoria Gentle meadows, forests, and idyllic towns along the River Oceanus. Every settlement somehow has riverfront property. Biomes get weirder the farther you travel from the river (plains, badlands, deserts… for reasons). Eronia Craggy mountains, harsh winters, rugged terrain. Heaven for dwarves, mountain folk, and anyone who thinks Colorado weather is "nice actually." Belierin (Bellerin) The prison layer of heaven, which is a sentence that should worry you. Holds legendary threats that couldn't be killed: hydras, ancient evils, fallen dukes of Hell. Access is restricted—mostly via the River Oceanus. Perfect setup for a level 20 "heaven jailbreak" campaign. Thalassia Endless ocean dotted with heroic islands. Where the best souls go—or where deities personally abduct you before you die because you're just that good. Eternal tropical vacation, sailing, fishing, and zero capitalism. The River Oceanus A holy river that flows through Elysium and beyond. Functions as a major planar highway connecting multiple Upper Planes. Also conveniently Hydra-proof. Who Lives Here? Guardinals (celestial animal-folk with extreme "Narnia energy") Moon Dogs (the best boys; CR 12; hunt evil; deserve all the treats) Phoenixes, because nobody here is trying to harvest them for profit Numerous deities, including Pelor, Lathander, and Shantaea Pathfinder vs. D&D Pathfinder does have an Elysium—but it's functionally closer to D&D's Arborea. Same name, wildly different vibes. The Gate Town: Ecstasy Located in the Outlands, connected to Elysium. Appears joyful, welcoming, and celebratory… because happiness is magically enforced. Suppressed emotions inevitably explode into violence. Ruled by twin dragons: The Lightcaller (gold dragon, daytime ruler) The Night Whisperer (silver dragon, nighttime ruler) Never seen together. Definitely suspicious. Key Locations in Ecstasy Philosopher's Court – a "safe" place to vent grievances that now regularly turns into Fight Club. Revelhome Inn – run by a Lawful Neutral medusa who turns problem guests into garden statues. The Bone Plinth – a giant spine you climb to reach the gate to Elysium, because nothing says "upper plane" like skeletal horror décor. Planar Mechanics Overwhelming Joy (Optional Rule): Fail repeated Wisdom saves and you refuse to leave Elysium. If forcibly removed, you'll do everything possible to return. Fear effects are weakened. Violence is rare—unless you're in Ecstasy, where it's scheduled. Key Takeaways Elysium is D&D's most tempting afterlife—and the one most likely to derail your campaign. It offers true happiness, not moral judgment or endless labor. The layered structure lets every character imagine their perfect heaven. Belierin quietly turns heaven into an endgame boss rush. Ecstasy proves that enforced happiness is way scarier than honest suffering. Overwhelming Joy is a brilliant narrative mechanic for testing player priorities. If your party reaches Elysium and leaves voluntarily, they are either heroes… or liars. Welcome to the RPGBOT Podcast. I always keep a copy in my pocket, and I share it with people who are curious about our standards. It has been updated and refreshed to better cope with the challenges and temptations of our day. The new version of For the Strength of Youth is available online in 50 different languages and will also be available in print. It will be a significant help for making choices in your life. Please embrace it as your own and share it with your friends. This new version of For the Strength of Youth is subtitled A Guide for Making Choices. To be very clear, the best guide you can possibly have for making choices is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the strength of youth. So the purpose of For the Strength of Youth is to point you to Him. It teaches you eternal truths of His restored gospel—truths about who you are, who He is, and what you can accomplish with His strength. It teaches you how to make righteous choices based on those eternal truths.13 It's also important to know what For the Strength of Youth does not do. It doesn't make decisions for you. It doesn't give you a “yes” or “no” about every choice you might ever face. For the Strength of Youth focuses on the foundation for your choices. It focuses on values, principles, and doctrine instead of every specific behavior. The Lord, through His prophets, has always been guiding us in that direction. He is pleading with us to “increase [our] spiritual capacity to receive revelation.”14 He is inviting us to “hear Him.”15 He is calling us to follow Him in higher and holier ways.16 And we are learning in a similar way every week in Come, Follow Me.     ACU Endorsed Charities -------------------------------------------------------- Pre-Born! Earth as Logoic Catalyst: A Session on the Uniqueness of the Terrestrial Experiment

This Law of One study night explored a bold cosmological thesis: that Earth, far from being a "prison planet," may serve as a pivotal catalyst for the Logos itself—a location where the Creator is learning something genuinely new at the macro scale. The Premise of Earth's Anomalous Position Doug opened by noting that while Earth is not unique as a third-density planet (Ra states that 33% of life-bearing planets host third-density experience), nor unique as a mixed-polarity planet, something extraordinary is occurring here. He proposed that Earth represents an extreme case—a location where the consequences of the veil experiment have reached their furthest expression. Ra describes the Logos as "a Protean entity that learns upon the macro scale"—and Doug invited the group to consider what kind of catalyst might provoke learning at that level. If we as individual beings learn through the intensity of our experiences, what experiences might teach the Creator itself? The discussion traced the composition of Earth's original third-density population at the beginning of the 75,000-year Master Cycle: One quarter: Native ape-body graduates from Earth's own second density One half: Souls from Mars, whose bellicose civilization destroyed their atmosphere mid-cycle One quarter: A mixture from thirteen other planetary groups—some third-density repeaters who didn't graduate with their home populations, others from planets whose aging suns could no longer support development As Troy observed, this created an unusually heterogeneous population—a "motley crew," in Doug's words—that has contributed to Earth's distinctive challenges. The Veil as Logoic Learning The conversation situated Earth's current condition within the larger context of the veil's implementation. Demarcus explained that prior to the veil, third-density beings experienced no forgetting: they could perceive the Creator directly, understood their purpose, yet felt no impetus to polarize. As Doug noted, Ra describes these pre-veil civilizations as existing in "monochrome"—without intensity or hue. Ra addresses this directly: "The first beings of mind, body, and spirit were not complex. The experience of mind/body/spirits at the beginning of this octave of experience was singular. There was no third-density forgetting. There was no veil." (Ra, 82.12) The veil's introduction created the conditions for genuine choice by separating the conscious mind from the unconscious—making each mysterious to the other. This generated the tension necessary for polarization, which in turn provided the "work" that allows consciousness to evolve. Doug likened this to the positive and negative charges in electromagnetism—polarity creates the capacity for movement, for transformation. The Paradox: A New Logjam Doug posed a provocative question: What if Earth represents the opposite extreme of the original logjam? Prior to the veil, beings were stuck in contentment, unable to polarize—like students born into wealth who see no need to study. Now, on Earth, we have a different kind of stuckness—millions of years of third-density repetition, where even our spiritual institutions can become entrapments. Doug pointed to the irony: "I know people who go to church... never miss a Sunday mass... and yet when you listen to them, oftentimes they're the most judgmental, the most alienating." The very structures meant to foster growth can perpetuate the same lower-chakra blockages they were designed to transcend. Barbara reflected on how "history, since the beginning of time has repeated itself, and still appears to be repeating itself." Yet Doug noted something new is emerging alongside the repetition: "We're repeating. But we're also increasing our self-awareness. So we know, maybe we're repeating." This is the peculiar gift of our moment—a growing gnosis within the repetition itself. Ra's Karmic Investment in Earth The discussion turned to Ra's own relationship with Earth. Doug highlighted that Ra, as late sixth-density beings, recorded their experience with Earth's population in "the great record of creation"—language suggesting implications beyond this solar system or galaxy. Ra's statement that "never again will any other group have to make the same mistakes" implies this situation is unprecedented. Ra became karmically entangled through their well-intentioned but naive interventions with the Egyptians. Yet this entanglement serves their own curriculum: "In learning how to balance the karmic imbalances that their influence created in earth's humanity... to try to redress those imbalances actually is their curriculum—how they're learning about the fine nuances of Karma in the universe." Ra's lesson, it seems, is unity—not merely within their social memory complex, but across the sphere of their influence. Their mistakes with us became their teacher. Ascension as Incarnation Perhaps the most practical teaching emerged around the concept of ascension itself. Doug cautioned against the desire to escape: "Ascension in the name of getting the heck out of here is exactly the thing that keeps us entrapped all the more in third density... If you want to ascend, you better learn how to incarnate all the more—into this body, into this thisness, and see the beauty of it all right here." This aligns with Ra's teaching that the harvest comes not through escape but through polarization achieved within the veil's constraints. Ra confirms Earth's birth into fourth density will occur through the beings who have learned to embody love here: "The earth, as you call it, is ready to be born, and the delivery is not going smoothly. When this entity has become born it will be instinct with the social memory complex of its parents which have become fourth-density positive." (Ra, 65.17) The way up, it turns out, is the way down—deeper into matter, into presence, into the very thisness we might wish to transcend. The Dignity of Being God's Sense Organs RuDee raised the question of whether Earth's role—being part of a larger cosmic learning process—diminishes individual experience. If we're like children playing with Fisher-Price versions of higher concepts, what's the point? Doug's response reframed the relationship entirely: "We are God's sense organs." He used the analogy of cutting a fingernail or accidentally pricking a finger while cross-stitching—if those cells were sentient, they might experience tremendous suffering. Yet from the perspective of the whole being, these small losses serve the larger movement of life. This is not to minimize our pain, but to situate it: our pain is God's pain; God's ecstasy is ours. We participate in "one divine sweep," a flow of purpose and meaning that gives our experience its ultimate dignity. Duncan noted that while Earth's intensity can produce incarnations where little is learned (due to overwhelming catalyst), it can also be "extremely profitable" for those able to process the experiences consciously. Doug went further, suggesting that the psychological and philosophical sophistication emerging on Earth—the capacity for deep self-reflection, contemplative practice, and nuanced understanding of self—may actually be "fourth-density and fifth-density stuff, right here." The presence of millions of wanderers—sixth-density souls incarnated under the veil—has created communities where conversations about karma, unconditional love, and the nature of consciousness occur as naturally as discussions of weather. This is not normal for third density. This is Earth's strange gift. The New Creation Afoot The session concluded with an affirmation: "Something magical is happening, something new. There's a new creation afoot—precisely at the place of the centermost stuckness of it all." Rather than viewing Earth's difficulties as evidence of failure, Doug invited the group to see them as the very conditions from which something unprecedented can emerge—just as the pre-veil logjam eventually birthed the veil itself. The cornerstone the builders rejected may yet become the foundation of what comes next. Doug referenced Michael's sharing from the previous week—his commitment to emit unconditional love wherever he goes, knowing from lived experience what conditional love feels like. This, Doug suggested, is God's own growth occurring through us. Barbara closed with the Prayer of St. Francis, a fitting summary of the night's theme: that where there is darkness, the call is to bring light; where there is despair, hope; where there is hatred, love—not through escape, but through engagement. "You can feel the groan like St. Paul says—that the very universe groans with this Eros, God's own divine Eros groaning and moving into completion. Like we are that groan... where God's lament and God's ecstasy exist at the same time." — Doug Scott

Dear one,A winter storm is sweeping its way across the US. Where I live, Minnesota is bracing below zero degrees — From snow to frigid cold - it slows the world, ices the branches, and hushes everything under a weight of cold clarity. Our city of Minneapolis is under siege and near anarchy.Saddened. And honestly? It feels familiar. Not just outside, but internally too — like something in the atmosphere, inside and out, is shifting. We all feel the drip drip - FLOOD of energetic uncertainty. You know those days when it feels like life is doing more than landing gently?Sudden overwhelm. Unexpected feedback. A decision rising to the surface before you feel ready. Emotions that crack like ice under your ribs.Every choice we make carries profound creative consequences. We are remarkable agents of creation. With that in mind, my desire is helping you genuinely understand that every choice you make in life sets powerful creative forces in motion. There are profound shifts we believe are happening “out there,” when in truth they are happening in here. We are the engines of everything unfolding around us—and that is a difficult truth to fully comprehend.I've come to understand power as the fundamental ingredient of life. Everything is about power—absolutely everything. This is a POWERFUL energetic winter — when everything gets quiet, stretched, cold, and cracked open… all at once. These moments don't ask for performance.PAUSE …..They ask for presence. Think of Japanese calligraphy. The magic isn't just in the ink; it's in the white space. In our lives, that white space is the Pause. It's the gap between tasks where transformation actually happens.Because even on the days when your thoughts feel loud, your nervous system feels tight, and your emotional body is pulsing just outside your window of welcome — there is wisdom here. Our Souls incarnate to experience creatorship through choice, allowing us to express ourselves as unique aspects of the Divine.Only in the third dimension can Souls distinctly witness their creative abilities within separate bodies, making our actions and experiences truly our own—…it's about individuation. While manifesting follows Universal Law, each Soul uniquely interacts with these laws, encoded at the seventh-dimensional level of our Divine Oversoul's Devotion here on earth. The LIGHT BETWEEN ORACLE EXPERIENCE creates a time for wonder, contemplation and problem solving The Light Between Oracle App supports you through intense emotional experiences in real time. It's your personalized support tool designed to meet you in the middle of the inner snowstorm, not after the skies clear.Inside the self empowering oracle experience, you'll find:* Responsive, interactive intuitive readings that shift based on your energy and intention* Nervous system regulation tools to help you stay connected when you feel scattered, numb, or flooded* Soul-level journaling prompts, visualization journeys, and symbolic guidance that helps you turn emotional static into grounded clarity* A gently intelligent structure designed by someone who understands trauma, healing, leadership, and magicIf there is anything we've learned in the chaotic start of 2026, we know we cannot escape the storm of a fast changing world.BUT, we can find our footing inside it — moment by moment.Because when you can stay a few seconds longer with what's rising — even when it's sharp, shaky, or snow-blind — you open a new pathway inside your body. One where kindness, grace, and calm return on their own time.Sometimes the sky cracks for a reason.Sometimes the storm isn't chaos — it's recalibration. The five guiding lights offer a contemplative space that does not overwhelm you with more noise. Each guide meets you where you are and helps you hear yourself through it all. You don't have to be calm to begin; you just need to show up with one intention. Let each pause be your co-regulator. Your sacred pause. The gentle hand on your back that says: “It's going to be ok. You only can save yourself. You're just being reshaped.”Life is not a series of separate experiences. We are one unified bio-spiritual system. Sending you so much love healing and the will to PAUSE and CONTEMPLATE where there is still peace, hope and evolution as we heal our collective trauma.Warmth in the wild weather,Love - KassandraP.S. If life feels like slush right now — swirl, slide, standstill — no shame. These are the conditions in which we often uncover the very inner signals we've been too busy to hear. The Light Between is designed to catch those signals and help you make sense of them. You don't have to “figure it out.” You just have to open the app, and let your energy tell you where you are.P.P.S. Bundle up. Light the candle. Take a breath. Follow our event page on Facebook for more details. Or Follow us for Free on our Patreon page. Now my next goal is to raise $3200 so that all of the bands are paid a decent wage and to promote our first - ever Celtic festival. To that end, I added three new rewards for Kickstarter. Each is a chance to sponsor individual bands at the festival. When you do, you'll get one of the first album pins from each of these amazing Celtic bands. That's because we are highlighting album pins at the festival as well, as another means to promote the music of bands. Our album pins are wooden lapel pins themed to a particular album released by a band. The buyer gets a digital download of the album, then they can wear their album! We explore his approach to investigating the unknown—balancing skepticism with open-mindedness—and why some locations seem to hold onto emotional and spiritual energy far longer than others.   Throughout the discussion, Ryan opens up about chilling experiences from investigations, moments that challenged his understanding of reality, and encounters that stayed with him long after leaving the location. We also dive into the emotional impact of paranormal research, not just on investigators, but on witnesses and property owners who must live with unexplained activity.   As host of the Trapped Souls Podcast, Ryan has created a platform where investigators, teams, and everyday people can share their experiences without fear of ridicule. We talk about the stories behind the podcast, the investigations that left the deepest impression, and why Ryan believes some spirits—or energies—may still be trapped between worlds.   This episode explores haunted locations, lingering spirits, investigative methods, and the big question at the heart of paranormal research: when something doesn't move on, what does it want? Send us a textWhat happens when you take a beloved sneaker, dissect it with surgical care, and present it like a museum specimen? We sat down with Al Baker, the artist behind Deadstock Anatomies, to unpack how an entomology display at home inspired a breakout art form that sneakerheads, athletes, and brands can't stop talking about. From a carefully pared-back booth at ComplexCon to commissions for high-profile clients, Al shows us why restraint and intention can draw bigger crowds than flashy builds ever could.Al breaks down the craft with clarity. Some silhouettes like the Jordan 1 come apart cleanly, but modern foams and rubbers fight back, forcing slow, blade-by-blade work to preserve both sole and upper. That discipline protects the shoe's story while creating a striking frame that reveals design lines, textures, and engineering choices. He talks authenticity checks, why he refuses to work with replicas, and what it feels like to cut into a $12,000 grail without flinching. We also get the origin story: years of sketching sneakers as a kid, a detour through competitive billiards that taught focus, and a move to Las Vegas for outdoor access and a rising arts scene. We cover growth, too: scaling from single-shoe frames to multi-pair pieces, navigating the business basics, and the dream of a future collaboration with a major brand. Al shares a grounded take on AI—useful for research and light marketing, but no replacement for the tactile honesty of hand-built art. Along the way we spotlight Vegas culture, from the Arts District to food gems worth a detour, and the idea of a gallery model that lowers the barrier for new artists. If you care about sneakers, design, or building something original in a noisy world, this one's for you. Follow Deadstock Anatomies for the latest builds, then tell us which silhouette you'd want framed next. Pharaoh is one tough nut to crack. Notwithstanding all the miracles, signs, and wonders that the Almighty displays in Egypt, Pharaoh persists in his stubborn, immovable, intransigence. God promised to harden his heart and thereby prolong the period of the Plagues, but Pharaoh himself hardened his own heart. But something dramatic happened to Pharaoh. He slowly and steadily became a believer. He slowly and steadily accepted the dominion of God. He slowly and steadily began to live as a believer, began to interface with the world as someone cognizant and aware of God's dominion, omniscience, and omnipotence. The Torah centers the storyline of the Exodus on the transformation of Pharaoh. For us, the lessons are quite profound. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –This Parsha podcast is dedicated by Paul and Carol Block in loving memory and leilui nishmas their parents – Paul's father, Harav Moshe Yosef ben Harav Avraham Chaim, whose yahrzeit is 22 Teves, and Carol's mother, Charna Leah bas Reb Moshe, whose yahrzeit is 24 Teves. St. Catherine of Siena (1347 - 1380) was a "third order" Dominican, spiritual advisor, and a mystic, but also a nurse, and a kind of free-lance politician. She wrote letters of advice (and criticism) to cardinals, bishops, and royalty. She negotiated peace (or tried to) between warring city states, and - like St. Hildegard before her - she had permission to preach and teach. Today's episode is a punch in the gut to passive Christianity. Paul M. Neuberger calls out one of the Church's most dangerous phrases—“God wins in the end”—and exposes it for what it's become: a spiritual snooze button. We're not called to be spectators. We're called to be warriors. Comfortable faith? Dead faith. Silent faith? Fruitless faith. The cost of inaction? Souls lost. Churches weakened. Families drifting. Christ isn't looking for secret admirers. He's raising up obedient soldiers.Jesus is still Lord. His victory is certain. But what will YOU do before the clock runs out? When your moment of truth arrives, will you speak up or clock out?Buckle up. This one's raw, real, and rooted in Scripture. "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." –James 2:17 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?" –Matthew 25:26. "But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk." –Luke 12:45Episode Highlights:01:14 – And somewhere along the way, ‘God wins in the end' stopped being fuel for obedience and became permission for apathy. It becomes the sentence that Christians use to emotionally disengage when culture collapses, when sin spreads, and when obedience feels uncomfortable. Instead of urgency, it produces indifference. Instead of courage, it creates silence. Instead of action, it justifies delay. And let me be clear, that's not faith. That's spiritual laziness disguised as theology. And boy howdy, does Satan ever love it.17:07 – When Christians choose to do nothing, the consequences aren't hypothetical. They're immediate, measurable, and devastating. Inaction doesn't preserve the status quo, it accelerates decay. When believers stay quiet, sin doesn't pause, it advances. Scripture never treats passivity as harmless. In fact, it treats it as dangerous disobedience. God doesn't judge his people only for what they do wrong, but also for what they refuse to do right. One of the most sobering examples comes from Jesus himself.29:40 – It's a command. Jesus didn't gather his disciples after the resurrection to offer encouragement. He issued marching orders. Matthew, chapter 28, verses 19 through 20, records it clearly when it says this, ‘Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.' There is no fine print. There is no exemption clause. There is no version that says unless it makes you uncomfortable.Connect with Paul M. NeubergerWebsite

Today, our interdenominational Christian ministry serves the poor in primarily 17 countries throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Thanks to our faithful donors, we are able to provide food, housing, healthcare, education, fresh water, emergency relief, micro-enterprise solutions and much more. We are proud to have fed millions of people and provided more than 15.7 billion dollars in aid. Our faith inspires us to be an organization built on compassion, and motivated by love. Our mission is to bring relief to the poorest of the poor in the countries where we serve. We strive to reflect God's unconditional love. It's a sacrificial love that embraces all people regardless of race or religion. We believe that we can show His love by serving the “least of these” on this earth as Christ challenged us to do in Matthew 25. We pray that by God's grace, and with your support, we can continue to bring relief to the suffering and hope to the hopeless.   Report on Food For the Poor by Charity Navigator https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/592174510   -------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer from ACU.
