We decided to bring back DTMS in this time of uncertainty when this menacing virus has taken hold of the world and when now, more than ever, we need some stories of light to keep us going in these times of darkness. We called up one of our favorite guests from Season 1, Ernie Andrus, 96, who is continuing to run cross country in the United States despite the dire health warnings, especially to the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. Ernie has not stopped his quest to finish his five-year-run even for a second and as his running partner, John Martin, tells us, the road may actually be the safest place to be. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/donttouchmysundays/support

There is an art to being Finesse -- and he tells us how it's done. Finesse Mitchell. Comedian. Actor. Podcaster. Homies with our very own Nadia Turner. The two have ascended in the entertainment business together and are long-time friends from Miami. Finesse stops by the DTMS studios to tell us his story. Part one explores his rise and rise and rise from unknown comedian to one of the most recognizable sketch comedy shows in the country - Saturday Night Live. And you can bet there are more than a few LAUGHS on this show. It's our first ever VIDEO PODCAST as well, where you can SEE and HEAR your girls, Nadia Turner and Cindy Martin, in action. From student to teacher. Mel aka The Melchemist returns from a two-week vacation and she tells us the painstaking, methodical and tedious ways she transformed her body to one from toxicity to functioning at 100 -- using all-natural methods. We took episode five to one of our favorite parks in Los Angeles, away from the hustle and bustle to truly get into the Don't Touch My Sundays zone. There were even turtles! It was a hot and trying day to get up to the top of this steep hill, but it was all worth it, to hear Mel's story of recovery. Mel's Recommendations: Find a naturopath but do your due diligence to find a good one. Start small, eliminate unnecessary toxins from your diet: sugar, dairy and gluten. Listen to your body, it will tell you what is wrong and sometimes how to heal yourself. Chocolate has long been known to have medicinal powers but for this episode, the goddess that is Patricia Tsai, the creator of ChocoVivo, in our current home base of Los Angeles, became our own healer and we left TOTAL FAN GIRLS! For World Chocolate Day on July 7, we wanted to find something that was raw and transformative, like Don't Touch My Sundays. Little did we know what we'd gotten ourselves into... There was so much AMAZING material, it went over an hour and we left most of it in, unedited. If you're in a hurry, skip to THE LAST TEN MINUTES OF THE PODCAST, where Nadia drank 80 proof chocolate alcohol and discovered her vocal range was actually higher than previously thought -- leaving Patricia and Cindy in absolute fits of laughter. THANK YOU PATRICIA AND CHOCOVIVO for having us and educating us not only on chocolate, but on life. There we re moving moments of which many tears were shed as Patricia told us her story of keeping her business afloat and finding her passion and herself. "Be yourself, everyone else is taken." The wise and cheeky words of Oscar Wilde, who was a gay man himself, couldn't ring any truer for our guest for the Pride special, Keko Morales. Hailing from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, the sandboard instructor, filmmaker and overall amazing human being was shunned by his family for being gay. Not only that, he renounced his family's religion as a Jehovah Witness at the same time. As if that weren't isolating or devastating enough for Keko, he received some crushing news about his health that nearly destroyed him. That is... until one fateful day. Listen to the podcast on Apple Music, subscribe and give us a rating, here. You'll have a chance to win a Pride fan from British fine-fanmakers Khu Khu. Renae joins Cindy and Nadia to tell us her fascinating story. Take Aways: Work smarter, not harder Focus on one thing, but do it really well Don't listen to motivational speakers and create your own reality GIVE AWAY!!! Thank you all for tuning into our first episode! The response has been absolutely incredible, so Nadia and I are grateful to be starting this podcast journey with you all! Many of you wanted more information on the Dot cup so here is the segment, in all its glorious entirety. Mel aka The Melchemist provides us with many answers to the questions of how to use it. Key Take Aways: Helps eliminate waste - during a woman's menstrual life span, she will use nearly 11,000 - 16,000 tampons in her lifetime, according to CNN. That's a lot of plastic! For every Dot cup bought, another Dot cup is given away to a girl in rural Africa. It's estimated that girls in developing countries lose up to 60 days a year in education due to lack of access to menstruation hygiene products. You can save money. The Dot cup can be used for many years, according to its makers.
