Podcasting takes time. Usually more time than you expect. If your show feels like a lot of work with very little return, the problem probably isn't your commitment. It's your production process. I see this all the time as a podcast coach. Podcasters reacting week to week instead of working from a repeatable system. Scrambling for topics. Recording whenever there's a free moment. Editing on the fly. Publishing late. Promoting inconsistently. It's common, but it's also the fastest way to burn out before your podcast ever pays off. In this episode, I break down why efficiency matters more than hustle when it comes to podcasting for your business. Not because podcasting should be easy, but because narrowing the gap between effort and return is the only way to stay consistent long enough to see results. You'll hear what actually makes a podcast production process efficient, what most podcasters are missing, and how a clear structure, intentional batching, and a documented workflow can dramatically reduce the time and energy cost of your show. This isn't about cutting corners. It's about building a process that supports consistency, quality, and long-term momentum. If you're just starting out, efficiency helps you build the right habits from day one. If you're already podcasting and wondering why the return doesn't match the effort, this episode will help you see where things are breaking down. If you want help tightening up your production process or figuring out how to get it right from day one, book a free private podcast coaching call. Let's build a podcast production process to serve you instead of draining you. One of the most listened to men in the world is being accused of 'red-pilling' his audience. But what is that, and has it happened to Steven Bartlett of Diary of a CEO? Our (literal) foreign policy expert Amelia Lester is back and we have questions for her about Greenland. Namely, where is it? Why does Trump want it? And what happens if he gets it? Also, JLo has been accused of being rude when she didn't say "Hi" to the Glambot Guy on the red carpet at the Golden Globes last week. Welcome to What Matters Now, a weekly podcast exploring key issues currently shaping Israel and the Jewish World, with host deputy editor Amanda Borschel-Dan speaking with Israel Story producer Mitch Ginsburg. On February 20, 1979, the last 33 Israelis returned from Tehran upon the forced closure of the Israeli embassy. After the rise of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khoumeini's new regime, the Israeli trade mission's location was given over to the Palestine Liberation Organization, whose supporters immediately stormed the building. In today's episode, we relay the untold saga of the derring-do that saw these final Israeli officials back to the Jewish state. A story of four chapters, Ginsburg narrates the tale through the eyes of the Tehran embassy's military attache, Brigadier General Itzik Segev. Hear how they walk the plank, assume false identities and eventually meet up with the American delegation, which was also fleeing the country. Our conversation is followed by the complete episode of Ginsburg's recent Israel Story installment, "Frankly, My Deer," which tells the tale of the final and frantic days of the Shah’s regime, when an unlikely Israeli envoy — a cross between David Attenborough and Jason Bourne — landed in Tehran. His secret mission was to bring back something certain powerful people in Israel sorely wanted. And so this week, we ask Mitch Ginsburg what matters now. What Matters Now podcasts are available for download on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts. This episode was produced by the Pod-Waves. Hello to you listening in Stillwater, Oklahoma! Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga.    As a storyteller I've had many opportunities over the decades to learn about and use the power of the pause. I've come to know that inviting the space of silence in a story creates an opportunity for teller and audience to rest, live and breathe inside the story. Our job is not to rocket along to the end, but to sit together quietly in the beating heart of the story. To inhabit that world together. That's the "sorcery of stories" I work with.Story Prompt: Pause. Be. Here. Now. As long as it takes. What happens next? Write that story! And, share it out loud! You're invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, I hope you'll subscribe, follow, share a 5-star rating and nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time! Most podcasters don't quit because they fail; they quit because they stop recognizing their progress. Today, we take a closer look at what real wins actually look like when you're in the work week after week. While our lead host, Marc, is at PodFest, Ralph Estep takes the wheel and guides us through a poignant discussion on recognizing wins beyond the numbers and not taking your accomplishments for granted. We share heartfelt examples of progress that are easy to overlook: showing up on a hard day, helping one listener, or simply staying consistent when motivation dips. Momentum isn't always loud; in fact, it can be quiet. Redefining progress is one of the best ways to avoid burnout and stay in the podcasting game.Sometimes, staying in it is the win.To honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no show on Monday, January 19th. Bevor wir gleich mit der Folge starten, habe ich noch eine Empfehlung für Dich. Diesmal in eigener Sache. Economically, we’re doing well! The stock market is looking good; unemployment is down (4.4%); and consumer spending is up. So why aren’t people feeling more prosperous? Gen Z, aged around 18–28, is being criticized for being the laziest workforce ever, transactional and unmotivated, claiming they’re not failing at work, rather, work is failing them. Podcaster and hundred-millionaire businessman Patrick Bet-David is using his platform to school the younger generation on why communism is not the answer, and that they must embrace capitalism. If you insist on being poor, you will be. If you want to be rich, do what rich people do. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This week on Second Wind, we're bringing in Kyle's buddy Joe Klassen, a pastor with a microphone history and a “let's do the hard thing” streak that somehow led him straight into CrossFit. Joe shares the moment that sparked his whole transformation, and it's the kind of story that hits like a kettlebell to the feelings. From there, we get into what it actually looks like to start from zero, rebuild after setbacks, and learn to check your ego at the door when your body isn't doing what your pride thinks it should. Joe talks about dropping 147 pounds, finding purpose beyond the scale, and why community inside a CrossFit box can feel a lot like the best version of a church. We also get a peek into the weird, wild, and sometimes horrifying side of gym life (yes, there are “earmuffs, kids” moments). But the heart of this episode is simple: becoming the kind of person who can keep showing up, keep moving, and keep being there for the people you love, for decades to come. And because it's Second Wind, we've got plenty of laughs too including “Bless Your Heart” awards, old-man divisions, and a legendary hospital BBQ decision that probably shouldn't have happened. If you've ever wondered whether CrossFit is for “people like us,” this conversation might surprise you. Hit play and come hang with us.

A Practice of Possibility (Season 6 | Episode 221) with Laura and Martha (Season 6 | Episode 221) [TESSA] In our latest episode of the Open Nesters Podcast, I had the profound pleasure of sitting down with a truly inspiring mother-daughter team, Martha and Laura. At 85 and 58 respectively, they joined me to flip the script on what it means to grow older. Instead of viewing aging through a lens of desperation or limitation, they shared how they have cultivated “possibility” as a daily practice rather than a distant fantasy. This conversation reminded me that being an “Open Nester” isn’t just about life after the kids leave; it's about keeping our hearts and minds wide open to new adventures, regardless of the number on the calendar. One of the most striking takeaways from Martha was her “pod” concept for social wellness. She maintains distinct groups—or pods—for her various interests, ranging from watercolor painting and Torah study to tennis and book clubs. These aren’t just hobbies; they are vital lifelines that prevent the isolation so often associated with aging. Martha's vibrancy at 85 is a testament to the fact that we must continuously invest in our social circles. As my co-host Amir noted, these relationships are essential to our survival and longevity, yet they require a conscious commitment to cultivate as our lives evolve. We also explored the concept of “resilient aging,” which requires an honest look at our changing physical rhythms. Martha and her husband, Bert, who is nearly 90, haven’t stopped doing what they love, like fishing; they have simply adapted. They've found guides who understand their “frailties” and allow them to start later or end earlier. This radical honesty—acknowledging that “getting old ain’t for sissies”—allows them to remain active participants in their own lives. By viewing the body not as an enemy but as a partner that requires different care, they model a graceful way to let go of old habits while welcoming new experiences. The conversation took a deeply courageous turn as we discussed the importance of transparency regarding death and dying. Laura and Martha speak comfortably about these “inevitable possibilities,” ensuring that family values—rather than fear—drive their future decisions. Laura shared her commitment to ensuring that her relationship with her brother remains “healthy and whole” after their parents are gone, which requires having these tough conversations now. This level of integrity and proactive communication is what truly defines a legacy. It's about making the path smoother for those we love by honoring our values above our own immediate comfort. As we wrapped up, I was left reflecting on how much we can learn when we witness aging with compassion rather than judgment. Whether it is Martha learning from Laura’s modern communication style or Laura gaining a “glimpse” into her own future through her mother's journey, the intergenerational bond is a powerful tool for growth. Aging is a process, not a destination, and it is happening every single day. I invite you to join our community on Instagram or visit our website to share how you are moving into your open nest with curiosity and courage. Until next time, remember to keep your life wide open to endless possibility. Tonight we're taking a closer look at the fallout from the Minneapolis ICE shooting, and one of the most striking developments isn't just the outrage from local leaders and families, but the fact that not all Trump supporters are defending what happened. Podcasters like Joe Rogan have openly criticized the Trump administration's immigration tactics, questioning the broader approach to ICE enforcement even while some continue to defend the agency. We're all looking for those big moments with God, those times when He calls us to step out of our comfort zone, reach for something impossible, have the deepest impact. But what do we miss when we're only looking for big? Podcaster and author Cynthia Yanof joins allmomdoes host Julie Lyles Carr for an insightful (and hilarious) conversation about how our lives are most often built in the small moments and microdecisions that all too often we can miss if we don't know what to look for.Show Notes: https://bit.ly/4brSWaG

Jenn Trepeck has been described as a "force of nature" in the wellness space. She is a Health and Lifestyle Coach, Podcaster, and Consultant. Jenn grew up the skinny one in a family of dieters which was awesome(!) until it went away. And so began her weight management saga. Ultimately, though, Jenn learned the nutrition education we're all supposed to know, but no one ever taught us. This completely changed her life and allowed her to say she "kicked her food issues." From then, Jenn set-out on a mission to pay it forward and help people help themselves. After over a decade of working with clients, Jenn started Salad with a Side of Fries podcast. Based on science, yet lighthearted, Jenn talks about living life while still making ourselves and our health a priority. Jenn's debut book, Uncomplicating Wellness (October 2025), offers a science-based yet practical approach to cut through the noise of the wellness industry and help readers finally trust their bodies again. In this episode, we cover: - how the wellness industry is just new branding of the old diet culture - how to spot BS health advice online - learning how to read your body's signals - how to reframe your New Year's resolution to make you actually stick to it ... and more! Hello to you listening in Ferndale, Washington!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey and your host, Diane Wyzga.Earlier in life I had tendencies toward behaving like a spring-butt. You know the type. The over-eager know-it-all with her hand in the air. Teacher! Teacher! I know! I know! Think Hermione Granger in the early years of Harry Potter.  Over time I learned to take to heart what my mother always said: “Just because you thought of something, Diane, doesn't mean you have to say it.” I can still hear her voice as mom continues to pull me back from “I know! I know!”  Practical Tip: Prompted by Jim Burke in a recent BizCatalyst 360 Friendship Bench discussion, I offer 3 questions that might have the same effect on you that mom's voice has on me:Does it need to be said?Does it need to be said now?Does it need to be said by me?  I know. I know ..... You're invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, I hope you'll subscribe, follow, share a 5-star rating and nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time! Is Blood Really Family? In this episode of Identified, host Nabil Ayers sits down with Traci Thomas, creator and host of The Stacks Podcast, to explore the deeply personal terrain of identity, family, and legacy. Traci opens up about growing up mixed-race with older parents, navigating loss at a young age, and the impact of her Black and Jewish heritage on how she views belonging. Their conversation weaves through themes of grief, motherhood, and emotional inheritance, as Traci reflects on what it meant to lose her father in her twenties—and how that absence continues to shape her relationship to parenting and selfhood. She shares insights on the expansive nature of chosen family, the cultural roots of inclusion in Black and Jewish communities, and the quiet power of forging your own path in the absence of clear models. Traci’s honesty about not feeling naturally inclined to motherhood—while fully embracing the role—offers a fresh and nuanced view of modern parenting. This episode challenges traditional definitions of family, makes space for contradiction, and honors the complexity of claiming one’s story. Bevor wir gleich mit der Folge starten, habe ich noch eine Empfehlung für Dich. Diesmal in eigener Sache.
