On January 17, 2026, eighty-three-year-old Gail Crane was reported missing from her home in May's Lick, Kentucky. Investigators determined her former caretaker, Rita Lang, who had been let go the day prior, was a person of interest. Crane was located a hundred miles away inside Lang's vehicle with unexplained injuries. Lang was charged with kidnapping.Sixteen days later, eighty-four-year-old Nancy Guthrie was reportedly abducted from her home in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson, Arizona.Tony Brueski and Robin Dreeke examine the structural parallels between the two cases and whether the caregiver-orbit theory applies to the Guthrie investigation. Nancy lived alone with a predictable routine and a rotating set of individuals with access to her property and schedule. Investigators have publicly stated her family has been cleared. The central evidentiary challenge to this theory is the doorbell camera footage. The individual on Nancy's porch reportedly did not know the camera was present — a reaction inconsistent with someone who had regular access to the property. Robin provides the FBI behavioral framework for evaluating whether this detail eliminates the insider theory or whether a secondary scenario — an individual inside the orbit directing a third party — remains viable. The discussion also addresses investigative methodology: how the orbit list is constructed, what “cleared” means procedurally in an active investigation, and how far publicly available information could take a stranger.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Germany's teenagers once again prove that the spirit of protest and class struggle isn't quite dead yet, by making personal grooming advice for Friedrich Merz go viral. But should we get rid of Section 188 of the German Criminal Code, and how come we even know the numbers of sections of the German Criminal Code? Plus, Konrad reports back from the Creative Bureaucracy Festival, Germany's lack of soul-searching at the UN, and how hope died on a Danish beach. Merz Leck Eier! Hello again, Dr. Nick here. To end the Lick Series, we needed to talk about the G Spot. You have to have a tongue like Gene Simmons from KISS to actually lick it, but you get the idea. In this podcast, I discuss plenty of other ways to stimulate the G Spot. Thanks for listening, Dr. Nick.
This week on Lick it Like a Lollipop your host Rampaige is embracing her big fuckin' feelings! I go on a tangent about “internet friends” and meeting strangers from the internet. I talk more about taking off the rose colored glasses and seeing people for who they truly are. Oh yeah… I go into depth about my Vegas trip with psycho chick from TikTok. Tune in, baby boos!

Windows: 1.6 billion monthly active devices, a focus on quality after years of enshittification - but revenues from PC makers were down 2 percent YOY. Microsoft Edge "has taken share for 20 consecutive quarters," which isn't supported by the evidence. Bing "monthly active users reached one billion for the first time," raising questions about how Microsoft defines the term "user." Xbox: "The team is recommitting to our core fans and players, and shaping the future of play," new records for monthly active Xbox users and game streaming hours. AI: Capex spending in the quarter was $32 billion, down from previous quarter as previously described, but up 49 percent YOY. More earnings Apple, Google/Alphabet, and Amazon. AMD - Up because of AI datacenter. Qualcomm - Plus, Intel just hired away a key Qualcomm exec. Windows Microsoft shares an update about what it's done to address Windows 11 pain points so far. File Explorer improvements - performance, fewer hangs, better polish and consistency. Widgets - Feed will be off by default, fewer interruptions, no hover activate. System performance - Smaller memory footprint, more aggressive RAM restoration, and more. Soon: Taskbar updates, Start updates, and more to share at Build in June. Week D update arrives with a peek at May's Patch Tuesday. Major: Xbox Mode, AI agents on the Taskbar are the first two big features of 2026. We let Dan step into the simulation tank to create his absolute perfect life, and let’s just say things went off the rails fast. Between his new name "Taint Tilman," a very specific age-defying pact, and a band name that had the censors sweating, it’s a total chaotic spiral. You are not ready for where this dream life ends up—especially the "snake vs. cockroach" tattoo. 0:00 – Meg’s accidental F-bomb and the $50k fuel wheel chaos. 1:45 – Entering the tank: Dan’s rules for his simulated reality. 2:30 – The Celine Dion power couple and the aging-slowly hack. 3:45 – The band name disaster: From "Killer Cats" to "Lick Rich Kids." 5:10 – Meet Taint Tilman: Dan’s new simulated identity. 6:25 – The tattoo: A snake, a giant cockroach, and a lot of regret. 7:40 – Life on the cliff: Why there’s no rain and everyone walks on their hands.

Last week, we learned some thoughts from the kids and computers. In the past, I've received some interesting comments from my readers in my peer group who are having a growing edge with all of this computer technology. I have been reading some perspectives on aging and how to be a kid again. And so I will share these thoughts found on the internet…perhaps it is the 1st draft.Be a kid again. Dot all your i's with smiley faces. Sing into your hairbrush. Grow a milk mustache. Read the funnies. Throw the rest of the paper away. Dunk your cookies. Step carefully over sidewalk cracks. Try to get someone to trade you a better sandwich. Give someone a hug around the neck. Blow the wrapper off a straw. Refuse to eat crust. Make a face the next time somebody tells you no. Ask why a lot. Have someone read you a story. Wear your favorite shirt with your favorite pants even if they don't match. Eat dessert first. Put an orange slice in your mouth, peel side out, and smile at people. Remember to say your prayers. Ride a roller coaster 2 times in a row. Run through the sprinkler with all your clothes on. Lick all the cream out of an Oreo before you eat the cookie part. Eat just the chocolate stripe out of your Neapolitan ice cream. Start thinking now about what you want for your next birthday. Lie on your back in a field and look at the pictures in the clouds. Make a slurping sound with your straw when you get to the bottom of a drink…found on the internet. And don't forget to say your prayers. One more closing thought: international walk day is April 30. On that day, leave your car at home, walk wherever you have to go, and enjoy the spring weather and the surroundings. And remember to mark your calendar for April 30th!Warm Thought: Count your age by friends, not years, and count your life by smiles, not tears. May you have many warm thoughts in the springtime.Warm Thoughts from the Little Home on the Prairie Over a Cup of Tea, written by Dr. Luetta G. “The Kingdom Below”: When a wealthy American family accepts a lunch invitation from the mysterious Prince of Porto Corvo, they don't realize that sitting down at his table may cost them far more than they ever imagined — perhaps even their very souls. The locals have been warning strangers about this prince for centuries, and now it's too late to turn back. | #RetroRadio #WeirdDarkness | EP0619CHAPTERS & TIME STAMPS (All Times Approximate)…00:00:00.000 = Show Open00:01:30.028 = CBS Radio Mystery Theater, “The Kingdom Below” (July 15, 1977) ***WD00:46:22.572 = The Saint, “Military Instructor” (May 27, 1951) ***WD01:15:01.218 = Theater Five, “20 Minutes In The Life of Melinda Madison” (November 05, 1964) ***WD01:36:30.230 = Theater 1030, “The Sandman” (October 31, 1954) ***WD (LQ)02:03:30.310 = Tales From The Tomb, “The Lick” (1960s)02:06:59.765 = 2000 Plus, “Insect” (May 17, 1950) ***WD02:36:23.975 = The Unexpected, “The Revere Cup” (January 30, 1948) ***WD02:51:03.908 = Unsolved Mysteries, “Writing On The Wall” (October 05, 1949) ***WD03:05:45.821 = Columbia Workshop, “Carmilla” (July 28, 1940) (LQ)03:35:12.127 = The Weird Circle, “Thing In The Tunnel” (March 13,1944)04:02:37.109 = The Whistler, “Two For The Money” (January 01, 1945)04:32:02.700 = Witch's Tale, “Four Fingers And A Thumb” (November 13, 1933) ***WD04:58:35.013 = Show Close(ADU) = Air Date Unknown(LQ) = Low Quality***WD = Remastered, edited, or cleaned up by Weird Darkness to make the episode more listenable.
