In this episode, Behsaad interviews Zheeshaan Lakdawala, Frontend Developer based in Hamburg. He has been working as an employee and recently started freelancing in 2018. He will tell us about his decision to start freelancing and the experiences he has made during this year. He will also explain why he prefers working on-site rather than travelling and working remotely. Learning and investing in oneself runs like a thread through this interview. For example, Zheeshaan’s plan for the following years is to make a MBA in Barcelona for getting a broader skill set and Behsaad tells us that he usually prefers getting a lower hourly rate if he learns something new in return. Zheehsaan will also share one of his many business ideas with us and subsequently, Behsaad will reveal the story of the failure of his first app. They’ll also talk about the chicken-egg problem and the big amount of already existing software when trying to develop a new one.
