When the Detroit-born and raised DJ/Producer is not touring the world playing shows from Las Vegas to the Philippines, Captn20 is running Basement Beats - his Motor City-based talent shoppe; providing talent and producing events for some of the most recognized names in the industry. In his 20 years in the business, he’s worked with everyone from Diddy to The Chainsmokers, but still makes local talent one of his top priorities. We caught up with The CAPTN and asked him to share with us some of his current, favorite tunes in a very, special 60-minute house mix made exclusively for HMC!

The Chicago-born DJ/Turntablist is known for spinning at some of the hottest nightclubs throughout the country including holding the 2001 ITF World Scratch Champion title. Aside from his production being featured on hit movies such as Iron Man 2, his continued success has landed him work on the Jenny Jones Show, Red and Meth Show, and Wild. Among his vast entertainment industry work, Spryte has also spun at premiere parties for Iron Man 2, Transformers, Interscope Records, Disney, Adidas, and many others.

Sacramento-born DJ Mark West made his start in Los Angeles opening for iconic names such as Miguel, Naughty By Nature, Ginuwine, Sean Kingston, Mario, and many others. Before making Osaka his permanent place of residence, West toured the states as Travis Garland's official DJ on his Fashionably Late Tour. Now living in Japan, Mark continues to evolve his career by spinning at some of the biggest clubs throughout Tokyo, Taiwan, Seoul, Shanghai, Philippines, and Singapore.

London's own DJ Fricktion connected with us for Volume 13 of our HMC Mix mixtape series. For the past two decades, the UK veteran continues to hold down nightly parties at London's hottest nightclubs. Fricktion frequently tours the U.S. & can be found spinning at some of the most renowned hot spots including 1 OAK New York, Ling Ling Hakkasan, Poppy Los Angeles, & many others. When he's not behind the turntables five-six times a week, the SKAM Artist-DJ's persistent production presence is second to none. His production catalog continues to widen having worked on projects for legendary Hip Hop icons like RZA, Styles P, & Ghostface. His latest HMC Mix features some of the latest and most current International hits for you to stay up on.

Bay Area-bred DJ/Turntablist Miles Medina has performed alongside multiple heavyweights including Jazzy Jeff, Just Blaze, A-Trak, and many others. His edits and remixes have gained support from respected artists including Diplo and GTA.  

2017 Redbull 3style USA National Champion DJ Ease continues to dominate the Open Format scene. The Las Vegas DJ/Producer currently holds a residency at the Hard Rock Hotel's REHAB Beach Club and can be found touring the country playing at the hottest clubs in Los Angeles, Phoenix, New York City, Washington D.C., and many more. You might recognize Ease as Young M.A.'s official tour DJ and as a Redbull 3style Finalist, DMC USA Finalist, and DMC Regional Champion in the year 2016.

Las Vegas-based DJ duo Shelco Garcia & Teenwolf set off 2019 with Volume 11 of our newly branded HMC Mix. The two's extensive catalog of collaborations include working alongside the world's top artists Diplo, Major Lazer, Laidback Luke, & Carnage. Shelco & Wolf also produced "Unapologetic Bitch" off Madonna's 13th studio album Rebel Heart with Rolling Stone labeling it the "stand out song of the project." When the pair aren't in the studio cooking up new ideas for their highly respectable edits/bootlegs, they can be found holding down frequent guest slots on Diplo's BBC Radio1 show Diplo and Friends and Major Lazer's Lazer Sound.
