I Went To Fashion School Podcast

This is the second part of my conversation with designer Sam Lambert: one half of artistic collective Art Comes First. In our conversation Sam and I discuss the importance of travel and culture within the design process. Sam also shares his career challenges and highlights.

For this episode I caught up with Sam Lambert, one half of artistic collective Art Comes First. In our conversation Sam shares his maverick journey into fashion. We discuss his creative practice, storytelling within fashion and photography, traveling, culture and collaboration.

I caught up with Odunayo Ojo, aka Ayo from The Fashion Archive YouTube channel. I first came across Ayo's YouTube channel during my second year at university. Even though I was studying Fashion Design full-time I felt that there was more about fashion history and business that I didn't know and watching The Fashion Archive videos helped fill in some of the gaps. For the second part of our conversation we discuss the importance of fashion history for both designers and journalists, fashion marketing and how a career in Fashion can be just as good as a career in Medicine or Engineering (talking to our African parents
