We are The Aarly Couple and this is a raw and down to earth podcast where we talk about random observations with constant twists, turns, and hints of sarcasm. Which leaves us with one question: where were we going with this?
This was our second episode. We had deleted it because we weren't sure if it was good enough. Now it's back on, because who cares. Let's just go with the flow.
Why do we do what we do in regards to anything? Do we actually take stock of what we're doing with our time, or do we live on some sort of autopilot? While it's not possible to think every choice down to granular detail, it is important to take time to overview what it is you are doing in a day, where your money is being spent, and whether or not you feel satisfied with your choices. This metric of feeling satisfied with your choices is important since it gives you information on multiple levels. This simple point of data shows whether or not you're doing things in line with your conscience, and whether or not you need to make changes to stay on course for your long term goals. Maybe something is banal, and unimportant, but maybe it's a small change which reminds you to move forward, and can help develop other good habits. If you're going to scroll through social media, why not scroll through things that are actually related to what you're trying to build. If you sell coffee, look through things about improving your product, or get ideas for how you want to build your company culture, or advertising. Never forget the value of sleep and resting. A mind full of things without direction is unhelpful. Take time to clear out the noise, and clarify where it is you'll be putting your efforts. Sleep does more for productivity than being busy all the time for the sake of doing something.
We are back after a long hiatus. It took us a few months to get back on track after Yaron fell off the wagon. This episode has something to do with what Rich Dad Poor Dad talks about, a W-2 is just a band-aid to a long-term problem. Yup, you guessed it, Yaron decided to try out a W-2 after he said he wouldn’t do it again. But hey, it’s alright, we aren’t perfect. We aren’t experts either, we just don’t want to be constricted, especially in how we should live our lives and make our living. So here are a few things to think about: Is working a full time job really, truly, and we mean honestly the best and only option? Should we have more than one stream of income? What are other “good” ways of making a living? If you would like to be our guest or want a shoutout, send us an email: theaarlycouple@gmail.com or follow us on instagram: @infamousvitality
In this episode we talk about the inspiration presented after reading a chapter from Rachel Hollis’ book, ‘Girl, Wash Your Face’ and Lily goes on to write a reflection on this chapter. Sometimes we give up on our dreams when we hit a roadblock and end up making excuses or throwing everything out the window, instead we should think of “Rejection” as a yield sign and as a way of slowing down. We have to realize that slow progress is still progress and even if someone doesn’t like what you are doing, in the end they cannot tell you how big or how far you can go when it comes to your own journey and your own dreams. To read Lily’s reflection / writing click hereWe also want to give a shoutout to Kafetos Coffee. In this episode we start off by discussing the discovery of Patreon and its business model. We go over Yaron’s experience in setting up his tiers and what he has to offer as a professional violinist / musician. Lily on the other hand has been disturbed by Dean Koontz’s true crime books, because she feels she has not learned anything from them, unlike the My Favorite Murder podcast. We also hope to have guest speakers at some point to chime in on their discoveries in finding their purpose, significance, and vitality.Tune in to what is now called Infamous Vitality, we don’t claim to know it all, we just claim to try. This is our journey.
In this episode we speak about the projects we have been working on and what it is that drives us to do everything we are doing. Sometimes it feels like a lot, but there is nothing worse than working for someone else who is not going to appreciate or value you. As mentioned in previous episodes, I’d rather work 16 hours a day for myself than 8 hours for someone else.We also spoke about some changes we decided to make. Talk to Nowhere is now Infamous Vitality. Why this change? Well turns out that most of our conversations are about finding that vitality most people talk about, or that purpose in life. It still comes down to a humorous turn of events, but all in all it is our daily life, the things we do, and the places we go. There’s always a story to tell. This just happens to be ours.
In this episode we share how Yaron got fired for not wanting to be a professional babysitter/musical monkey and how this event triggered a revelation.
In this episode we speak our thoughts about seeking the entrepreneurial life and our reflections after listening to an episode in the podcast called: Pursuit with purpose, by Melyssa Griffin where she interviews Sterling Griffin. Eventually our talks are based on our own everyday experience with comedic intakes and how they may or may not lead to nowhere.
In this episode we start off with a hoarding confession and how it can be turned into a good thing. We also go over some recollection of dreams.
We read an original story written by "The Child" when she was in 6th grade about Dwight Schrute, his farm, beets, and the gods from Greek Mythology.
Very random conversation at midnight about time management, scratching your own itch, moving to New Mexico, and even the weather. I think we might have gotten somewhere this time.
Our very first episode during this whole COVID-19 life in quarantine and how Tiger King's debut changed our lives.
