John M. White has been preparing applicants for the Patent Bar Exam since 1988 and is the Director of Patent Professional Development at PLI. He is a principle lecturer and course designer in the Patent Bar Review course. A former patent examiner and special assistant to the commissioner of patents and trademarks, Mr. White entered private practice in 1987, started his own firm which merged a few times and is now the Berenato White & Stavish firm in Bethesda, MD., where he currently serves as Of Counsel.
Ms. Kate Battle has worked at the Entertainment Law Office, P.C. with some of Chicagoò019s well-known musical acts and with numerous record labels and music management companies. She currently advises bands on copyright, trademark, business, marketing and other issues relevant to the music industry.
