Living It Up

God is deeply concerned for those who have been rejected and abused. Genesis 16

We get it if sometimes you feel you are you too busy to pray. On the other hand, we want to encourage you to pray before everything else. It's your opportunity to experience God's presence, find guidance for the day's decisions, and reveals your humility and dependence on Him. Today, hear about all the wonderful things God provides when you turn to Him in prayer and how prayer positions you right where God wants you...totally dependent on Him. Psalm 16

In this New Year your joy can return! How? By maintaining hope! You'll also tell on yourself by revealing your faith to the world that shows you're willing to keep on keeping on! So below, see Romans 15:13. We put it in 1st person just for you! Say it out loud, release your faith that God is working in your life, and go on living each day with an expectant attitude. "God gives me hope & keeps me joyful and full of peace as I believe in him."

Often times it's just the way you think about things that determine your conclusions like with success and failure. They are both a matter of perspective. They are relative and measured differently by everyone. Find out why having an eternal perspective makes sense out of both. Colossians 3:2-3

How's your connection with God? Like with all relationships its impossible to have a thriving, intimate relationship with God without talking to Him. So today we discuss the great privilege you have of communicating with God, our Father and creator of all!! Romans 10:17

Are you ready but lacking willingness? That space between readiness & willingness is usually fear of some kind. Fear of failure, the unknown or even frustration! God's love and help is enduring. He is just waiting for us to do 3 things before He steps in to help. Revelations 3:20

Do you desire to understand your purpose and discover your calling? God is by your side today waiting to show you the way. Jeremiah 1:6-8 "I will be with you and will see you through."

Peace of mind comes when you choose to trust your "loving" God, connect yourself with His guidance and release the control we think we have to Him. We discuss how this can free you up to move forward in the new year while allowing others to do the same. I Peter 5:7

When you go through sad times and hopeless situations, you can count on the joy of the Lord to give you strength. It comes from faith that recognizes that it's Him who is caring you through. Nehemiah 8:7-10

It's that time again: Football Season! Excitement is generating and grown men will be watching the game, wearing their team's jersey while yelling and going nuts!. I love watching the game too but it had become and idol to me. Grab some chips and listen how to keep the love of the game from taking priority over your love for Christ. Psalms 56:9-12

Be ok with not getting your way. It's important to express our ideas and truths but equally important to accept the outcome no matter which way things go. Find out why praying your desires then trusting the results to God makes it easier at times to just "let it go!" Ephesians 4:15

WHEN you have and maintain peace with God, yourself and everyone else you can move toward the purpose God has for you. So during the holidays remind yourself of what drew you together with others in the first place instead of focusing on differing opinions. You'll gain peace and a loving tolerance towards them which will also help you move forward. Inspired by Philippians 2:2-4

You can have hope from grief & despair. Love experiences the pain with those who are grieving. Today we discuss why “expressed grief” to God and to others is necessary in order to accept reality and enjoy life again. Job 2

It's reeeealy hard to forgive yourself, huh? Memories of how we've hurt others are some of the greatest sufferings there is. BUT you are never without hope of restoration. God is ALWAYS willing to restore EVERYTHING back to you including the chance to begin again and your joy. I John 1:9

You always have hope. If you believe all hope is lost then it may just be your perspective that you have lost. If you are seeking God instead of giving into the temptation to blame He says you'll find Him as well as the hope and answers you need. The Lord is for you even if you can't see Him and your life can be even greater after beginning again. Matthew 7:7-8

Believe in Jesus, have faith shown by action, and diligently seek God. Hebrews 11:6 says that God is a rewarder but according to the rest of that verse your part is the three things listed above.

Do you need a faith-lift by seeing God move in your life? We've discovered that when we are playing it safe and thinking too much about ourselves life seems "me"diocre? So are you playing it safe and not taking risks with God? He loves you and wants you to take risks with Him all the time! Discover the one thing that can forfeit the adventure of you seeing God move in your life. Hebrews 10:23

Hey, Friends! Have you ever noticed how easy it is to get in other people's business instead of working on your own? Unless we're asked we make it a point everyday to keep our noses out of others people's problems. If God needs our help with them He will let us know. We just need to keep following Him. John 21:21-23

Are you desperate to hear from God? Many times we have found that when we are simply going about our business that God speaks to us. I Kings 19:11-13

It's, Laugh A Little Bit Monday! Who doesn't like to laugh? Humor has helped us get through some of the worst times. It's a known fact that people have 5 senses. We actually have six because we believe a sense of humor is one too. It's been said that "You grow the day you have the first laugh at yourself." We couldn't agree more! Want peace with God? Yourself? Everyone else including your neighbors, in-laws, co-workers, folks on the freeway and people in the drive-thru? Being at peace with others is a high priority with God. He says so in scripture. His goal is for you to become a peace "maker" in order to keep the air clear unlike a peace "keeper" who wants to avoid confrontation but ends up resentful. We discuss how to stay in peace to keep a bad situation from getting worse while bringing peace to others. (Romans 12:18).

Seasons of waiting are tough so here's a question: Did you do the last thing God revealed for you to do? If the dream in your heart is not manifesting in your reality we have plenty to say to help you! God is a God of order and we have some suggestions to help you get unstuck and back in the flow with Him so HIS plans and desires for you can become a reality. 2 Corinthians 3:17, 1 Cor 14:40
