I had an epiphany in 2018.  I realized that the things that motivated me as a youngish guy didn't really motivate me anymore.  Phonte made me realize that being WASHED isn't a bad thing.  As a matter of fact, being WASHED was a very liberating experience that allowed me to charge into the next phase of my life.  As a Black Dad embracing being WASHED was a key step in my growth.
