In this very special edition of the Midleton College Podcast we interview former student, James Ezeonu. James is a national athletics champion at U17, U19 and U20 level. He specialises in the 200m sprint and 110m hurdles, and he has also represented Ireland on multiple occasions. Last year he secured a sports scholarship to attend the acclaimed Iowa State University. In this interview we discuss his first year studying abroad, his training routine, personal achievements and how his time in Midleton College has helped shaped his success to date. In this episode we interview the famous hurler Daniel 'Dan' Morrissey. Dan plays as a left wing-back for club side Ahane and at inter-county level with the Limerick Senior Hurling Team. He made his senior debut for Limerick debut for Limerick in 2014 and has gone on to win three All Ireland titles as well as two All Star Awards. We hope you enjoy the show!

In this podcast we interview Irish 100 metre Hurdler Sarah Lavin. Sarah is a European junior silver medallist and in 2020 had one of her best years on the track. Sarah ran under 13:2 seconds consistently before breaking the magic mark of under 13 seconds in Madrid with a run of 12.95. This saw Sarah join Derval O'Rourke as the only Irish women to break 13 seconds in history. In the summer of 2020 she achieved her dreams by representing Ireland at the 2020 Olympic Summer Games.
