Klassischer FehlstartErnüchterung nach dem 1. DEL-Wochenende. Die Haie gehen das erste Mal seit langer Zeit mit 0 Punkten aus den ersten zwei Saisonspielen. Wann es das zuletzt gab? Ratet gerne! Wir sagen es aber aber auch. Alles in allem muss man wohl von einem klassischen Fehlstart sprechen.U20 und U17 sind weiterhin erfolgreich und halten sich am Wochenende schadlos. Am kommenden Wochenende gibt es am Samstag die U17 in der KA2 und am Sonntag die U20.Eigentlich haben wir mal gesagt wir schauen bei den vergangenen Spielen auf ein paar Key Facts. Das würde dem Wochenende aber nicht gerecht werden und so gibt es dieses Mal die komplette Ladung an Diskussion und Einordnung des Wochenendes. Vor allem über das Spiel gegen die Eisbären muss man dabei natürlich reden. Wir packen aber nicht den Knüppel aus, sondern versuchen da zu differenzieren. Gibt es evtl. sogar ein Goalieproblem? Ach ja und wann war das letzte Mal so ein Fehlstart?Wir blicken auf die Tabelle nach den ersten zwei Spieltagen, die logischerweise noch nicht viel aussagt. Send us a textIn June 2022, Mark Walters suffered a stroke on the pickleball court, an ordeal that doctors said left him in the 99.9th percentile of survival with remarkable mental and physical acuity. Though he continues to live with lingering effects such as numbness and diminished taste, Mark has not only returned to the court but continues to improve his game. A lifelong athlete: U17 city table tennis champion at 14, high school tennis player, and Hall of Fame softball coach, Mark's life has always centered around sports and teaching. After 36 years as a high school English teacher, coach of 4 varsity sports, and athletic director, he now serves as a pickleball instructor at The Flying Pickle in Boise. For Mark, pickleball is more than recreation: it literally saved his life. In addition to sports, this father of 3 and grandfather of 7 played in 2 separate NCAA marching bands (University of Michigan and Michigan State University) and got to perform in the Rose Bowl and World Series.

Saisonstart vorausMan man man… 1 Tag vor dem Start in die Saison und noch so viele Punkte auf dem Zettel. Da muss ein neuer Sharkbite her. Na gut, war ja nicht schon genug in den vergangenen Tagen. Aber es gibt wirklich noch ein paar interessante Punkte vor dem Saisonstart zu besprechen.U20 und U17 sind erfolgreich in die Saison gestartet mit 4 aus 4 bzw. 2 aus 3 Siegen. Am kommenden Wochenende steht die U20 dann erstmals in der KA2 auf dem Eis und die U17 hat direkt Derbytime – sonntags auch in der KA2. Heißt also Sonntag erst U20, dann U17 und dann zu den Profis.Worauf müssen wir uns in der neuen Saison in der Arena einstellen, gibt es noch Tickets und wie war eigentlich die Saisoneröffnungsfeier im Mediapark? Ok letzteres gab es schon bei uns auf Instagram zu sehen. Reinschauen wer es noch nicht getan hat!Natürlich gibt es auch in dieser Saison eine Saisonwette. Leider ist Max jetzt erstmal in Urlaub, daher müssen die Grafiken noch etwas warten, aber wir erzählen es Euch schon mal und schreiben es die Tage auch in Social Media nochmal nieder. Dieses Jahr spielen wir alle 5 im Sharkbite-Team mit.Wir waren die Tage bei der PK zum Saisonstart. VorbereitungserkenntnisseDie Pre-Season ist in vollem Gange. Wie so oft ist der Sharkbite dann etwas kürzer als normal. Aber die Vorbereitung ist auch eine gute Möglichkeit, um unsere neuen mit ins Boot zu holen. Heute ist André mit dabei, um über die ersten Wochen der Vorbereitung zu sprechen und ob es schon „Vorbereitungserkenntnisse“ gibt.André gibt sich heute die Ehre im Podcast, er hat schon Erfahrung mit Mikro vor der Nase, stellt sich kurz vor und erzählt auch vom Straubinger Gäubodenfest.Am kommenden Wochenende starten die Findungsrunden der U17 und der U20. Beide Teams starten am kommenden Wochenende auswärts. Die U17 kann man da in Krefeld aber auch besuchen, wenn man nicht gerade in Iserlohn ist. In den kommenden Wochen schauen wir – wie gewohnt – dann auch wieder mehr auf die Jugendmannschaften des KEC.Bevor wir in die Vorbereitung der Haie gehen, schauen wir erstmal was sich sonst so getan hat rund um die Gummersbacher Straße. Trikots, Schirifolge und was sonst so in 14 Tagen passiert ist.Was ist in der Vorbereitung der Haie bisher passiert? Wie waren die ersten Testspiele? Wie war das Trainingslager? Wo sehen wir aktuell Probleme? Welche Vorbereitungserkenntnisse konnten wir gewinnen? Wir blicken ein bisschen auf die ersten 3 Wochen der Trainingsphase. Natürlich gibt es auch die Vorschau auf den Rest der Vorbereitung, die am kommenden Wochenende mit dem NRW-Cup in Iserlohn weitergeht.In ein paar Stunden startet die CHL und in ein paar Monaten die olympischen Spiele. Die Zweitliga-Kicker des FCM gewinnen erstmals seit 25 Jahren bei Dynamo Dresden und natürlich bildet dieses Spiel einen der Schwerpunkte in Ausgabe 373. Darüber hinaus schauen wir auf die drei Neuen beim Club, beleuchten kurz die Lage bei U19, U17 und den Frauen, gehen auf die Niederlage der U23 gegen Luckenwalde ein und berichten im "Sonstiges"-Segment unter anderem von der ehrenamtlichen Arbeit der Notfallseelsorge Magdeburg. Eine neue SaisonDie alte Saison war lang und für uns durch die WM noch länger. Es folgte aber auch ein – gefühlt – langer Sommer. Jetzt starten wir in die neue Saison. Zuerst noch mit Gästen, aber bald auch wieder gemeinsam. Dazu in den nächsten Wochen mehr.Als ersten Gast begrüßen wir im Sharkbite den ehemaligen Haieprofi und aktuellen Oberligaspieler Thomas Brandl. Sein erstes DEL-Tor erzielte Tommy im Haiedress gegen den späteren Meister die Hannover Scorpions. Mit ihm im Sharkbite gibt es natürlich einige schöne Einblicke die einem nur ein Aktiver geben kannst.Normalerweise seht Ihr Tommy bei den Erding Gladiators auf dem Eis oder hört ihn beim „The Hockey Analyst“ Podcast von und mit Ernst Wieninger.Ein minimaler Blick auf die Junghaie. Zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme waren die Spielpläne von U17 und U20 noch nicht online, daher nur der Blick auf das Testspiel in der KA2.Wie so oft in der ersten Folge nach der Sommerpause blicken wir auf das, was sich im Kader getan hat.Ein Paradigmenwechsel? Man kehrt zurück zum jungen deutschen Goalie. Die Hudashow findet in der kommenden Saison in Dresden statt und im Haietor gibt es wieder Ancicka. Dazu gesellt sich zur neuen Saison Felix Brückmann. Unser Blick auf diese wichtige Entscheidung der sportlichen Leitung.9 Verteidiger die alle das Potential haben auf dem Spielberichtsbogen zu stehen. Der Konkurrenzkampf wird groß sein. Vielleicht nicht in der Spitze aber eben um die Plätze 6 und 7. Wir blicken vor allem auf die Neuzugänge Kaski, Kemiläinen und Fischer. Dazu gesellt sich mit Luca Münzenberger noch ein Rückkehrer. Es wird spannend zu sehen sein, wer da in der Saison die Nase vorn haben wird.Auch im Angriff machen die Haie den Kader in der Tiefe qualitativ breiter. Auf gut Deutsch: Die Qualität vor allem ab Position 9 nach hinten wurde deutlich erhöht. Dabei ist der Angriff noch gar nicht fertig gestellt, denn ein Spieler wird noch gesucht. Aber wer schon mal eine Aufstellung bastelt, der bekommt schon große Augen, wer da am Ende vielleicht aus den Top12 rausrutscht. Mit den Neuzugängen Bokk, MacInnis, Russell, Schnarr und Uher soll der Angriff noch ausgeglichener sein.Was ist denn mit dem Kader drin? Wohin geht die Reise der Haie in der neuen Saison?Der Blick auf die Vorbereitung der Haie. Gegen wen spielen die Haie und was kann man von der Vorbereitung erwarten? On Friday, Calgary Blizzard could capture the League One Alberta men's title (and a trip to the 2026 Canadian Championship) with a win. Statt mit einem externen Gast spricht Christian in der aktuellen Ausgabe mit Thomas und Jan über den geplatzten Verkauf der Anteile von Hasan Ismaik. Außerdem wird ein Blick auf den Saisonstart in der Bayernliga Süd und das Testspiel des TSV 1860 München gegen den FC Vaduz geworfen.Deal geplatzt: Ismaik behält seine Anteile am TSV 1860 vorerstEs war die nächste Hammer-Nachricht rund um den TSV 1860 München, die bundesweit für Aufsehen sorgte. Nach dem angekündigten Verkauf der Anteile von Hasan Ismaik wurde am Samstag öffentlich, dass der vertraglich bereits unterschriebene Deal geplatzt ist. Die Löwenfans standen unter Schock, die Euphorie der letzten Wochen zerplatzte wie eine Seifenblase. New Zealand has surged to an historic quarter-final win against Switzerland at basketball's Under-19 World Cup in Lausanne. Down by six points at halftime, the junior Tall Blacks won 84-70 - the first time they've made the semi-finals of the global event in this age group. The team joins the 2002 Tall Blacks, who came fourth at the world championships, and the 2024 U17 side, as the one of the few teams to make it this far at the Basketball World Cup. When Christian Pulisic broke onto the youth soccer scene as a teenager, playing for PA Classics and the IMG residency for US Soccer, other countries and clubs took notice. Specifically, in the process of scouting another US youth national, Dortmund took notice. When he moved to Germany to join the club, his emergence on the global scene accelerated. Pulisic impressed for both the U17 and U19 Dortmund teams, and quickly worked his way into the senior team. At the same time, Pulisic broke through with the US Men's National team.
