An in-depth, non-serious chapter-by-chapter review of the Warriors series by Erin Hunter.
A feline homosexual relationship blossoms and the titular revenge draws near. The inappropriate flap talk continues.
I still feel the same about her, even after that stupid episode with the vole. Also, Jake's flap. Warrior Cats HQ Answers your Questions Art controversy reddit thread
The episode description is as follows: knowledge of the “secret” tunneling has persisted for generations throughout the clans. We ponder the mystery of the mysterious quote of the week. Talltail carries four pieces of prey on his back. Our opinions differ about the validity of Barkface's sign from StarClan. The banging of wood against wood. And the most important question: do trees fall down? Who's to say.
After reviewing a non Warriors-related short story entitled She's home!, we have a very brief naming ceremony. Aspenfall needs to take a chill pill. Shrewclaw modified his insults to respect Talltail's new name. The moor rings with ice. Taltail starts growling randomly in front of his clanmates. We rank the names of the four new kits (and are not impressed). The episode ends. Link to She's home!
Back to the island, mange-pelts! Episode 36 is a standard episode of Miouooo with few notable moments. One of the hosts even falls asleep in the middle of recording. What does happen is the tunnels being #canceled and WindClan having parasitic worms. Five things to know about Warriors fans article
Returning from our unannounced hiatus, we resume our coverage of Tallstar's Revenge with a highly anticipated and celebrated death. There's also a lot of angst, mostly of the adolescent feline variety *hares away until the next episode* Medicine Mission Tigerstar's death animation Wind announcement Wiki page on medicine
It's episode 34. What else is there to say.
Oh my tail and whiskers! A disastrous day for Wee Hen stans across the globe. ThunderClan and ShadowClan make entries to the Ministry of Silly Walks. Evelyn opens up about her hubobophobia. #justiceforweehen. The truth must come out. https://sablesteel.itch.io/clan-gen-fan-edit http://character.ai/
Wee Hen stans rise up.
Tallpaw gruesome and is now an apprentice. Shrewpaw bullies Tallpaw in front of the entire clan and none of them do anything about it (outrageous!) Lapwings, weasels, buzzards, grouse, slugs, and snipes are some of the rare creatures referenced in these chapters. We might like to see more natural disasters in the series, such as tornadoes, earthquakes, and volcanic events. We wonder; did the Tribe eat the carcass of Sharptooth? Be sure to listen to the end of the episode to hear some food for thought from a milk drinker. Take the exclamation ranking poll if you haven't already. If you have taken it already, keep yer paws off! Midnight's detailed description
In this episode, two monsters' thick hides collide. We also have the greatest and most abrupt weaning scene in the entire series. Spottedleaf's Heart Reddit post
Tallstar's Revenge is designated a "Warrior's Super Edition," and there is no mystery why. To begin this book, we invited our friend Astraea as a special guest. In this episode, we talk about book covers, what happens if the pain of receiving your nine lives is so bad that you die, and the Windclan tunneling system, which invokes heavy criticism.
“Something's fundamentally wrong with my right leg." We review The Coldest Winter since 1854, a short story by William Saroyan. A random book report on the story Vocabulary flash cards Information on Sloan's liniment
We have finally finished Outcast! And what a slog it was. We spent like 5 minutes picking the next book, which is coming up after our special episode: Tallstar's Revenge! https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/crying-aya-asagiri/ Image of the man with the cat Broken Code quiz
Sexual intercourse alert! That's right, our Warriors quote of the week is NSFW. We think fresh kill should be eaten quickly, lest it become stale cold kill. Lionpaw demonstrates how to urinate on a pile of rocks. We talk about whether it's a good idea to cake mud on your body and eat it up later. There's also a lot of cat colonization, racism, and xenophobia in these chapters. In this short episode, we talk about blowing your eyes, the herb garden in the Cave of Rushing Water (?), and a certain lie that increases our respect for Stoneteller despite characters thinking otherwise. Link to the Tumblr post about the Tribe's depiction.
We talk a bit about the upcoming new books. Two cats have to insist that they are not dead. Evelyn gives Simon a couple quizzes. We get confused over the geography once again. A full grown cat carries an almost full grown cat by the scruff. The white (or orange) savior trope rears its ugly head. Breezepaw threatens to release an album. The Tribe of Endless Hunting is surprisingly eager to give up. Link to the A Starless Clan exclusive reveal
It's Purdy time! And time for Purdy's ticks. We ask, what's so special about mouse bile? We did some herb research on chervil and horsetail. Should we rename the podcast to “Vole Talk?” We're finally on the mountain, and it only took ⅔ of the book to get there. Finally back with another episode, we are. We talk about the super edition poll that got bot brigaded and some secrets divulged by Vicky Holmes. These travelogue chapters we covered were simultaneously the most boring, but also the most interesting due to the reappearance of Purdy. Another topic pondered was how cats might go about preserving animal hides. Vicky Holmes' shady article Moonkitti super edition poll video
On this day, we discuss the frequency of clan patrols and how they always appear just when you need them, one Queen's haste to abandon her kits and clan, Brambleclaw cutting off Lionpaw mid-sentence only to say the exact thing Lionpaw was going to say, confusion regarding just how exactly Dovewing and Tigerheart are related, the sleepover in ThunderClan camp which no one from RiverClan was invited to, and the humiliating gossip Breezepaw endures.
Inside this episode, we are joined by a special guest in the form of our friend KK. Among other things, we discuss what accents the Tribe cats might sound like, rage about Stoneteller's terrible leadership, uncover the Tribe's gross wet home, and criticize Hollypaw's holiday goals. In our first three-chapter episode, we talk about: Rats Potential Warrior names from Rock's physical description An elderly female badger The continuation of anti-Shadowclan rhetoric Squirrelflight's past trauma Hollypaw's bad plan Ashfur (yukk)
We are joined by two guests this episode: our cousins Robby and Philip. Also kind of our Grandpa, which has been happening semi-frequently. First we choose our favorite Warriors prophecy. Then we talk about the chapters (rather boring). There were an unusually high volume of skunk references in this episode (2). God our audio quality sucks lol. Whatever.
Welcome to the start of the Outcast storyline. Jaypaw goes hunting and successfully catches a stick. Leafpool goes frolicking in the lake and then admonishes Jaypaw for daydreaming. These chapters also feature some ageism and ableism. We learn that a certain cat apparently died of liver issues, and of the three genders: Tom, She-cat, and Kittypet. We also meet a whole bunch of new cats including Jaypaw, Lionpaw, and Hollypaw and Berrypaw and Mousepaw and Hazelpaw and Leafpool and
We follow up on our special episode, then begin the ascent of Outcast. Which version of the book cover do you think looks slightly less worse? Warrior Cats as Cereals
In this special episode we discuss The Cat, a short story by William Saroyan featured in The Golden Almanac (1946) and originally published in Little Children (1937). This is a can’t miss episode. So don’t! Japanese Yahoo Answers link Google Drive link to the story
To wrap up Into the Wild, we make some observations on ShadowClan’s gross terrain. Whitestorm ejects ShadowClan cats from their own home??? Brokenstar seems to be under the impression that any cat who has shared dreams with StarClan has nine lives. I don’t know why nobody’s corrected him yet. Also Ashfur is trans. Three cats in ThunderClan receive promotions. The clan learns of Ravenpaw’s “death.” Additionally, why is it that in battles, the enemy cats always end up running away into the bushes when they get injured, abandoning their clan? Quote of the week: ”Rats not die. Cats die.” -Rat Leader Girls Gone Canon episode 115, in which Simon’s email was read and we thusly became famous.
In this episode, we touch upon some of the other spinoff series, then get into the “meat and potatoes” of what we’re here to talk about; the actual Warriors books themselves. Firepaw and Graypaw travel deep into ShadowClan territory to rescue the missing kitty cat and kittens and also Yellowfang is there and also some other cats too. Question: why didn’t ShadowClan kidnap any kits from WindClan when they drove them out? We need answers, Erin Hunter!
We review more content from the website, then discuss what happens in these two action-packed chapters: Tigerclaw assigns a couple of absurd apprentice tasks. Brindleface gave birth. Tigerclaw is very bad confirmed. Some other kits go missing and Firepaw must go on two missions. #rememberingrosetail #justiceforrosetail #riprosetail More importantly, what are your thoughts on Napa cabbage upside down cake?
In this episode, we discuss the list of Warriors insults and phrases, review Lionheart’s family tree (this takes forever), and cover the aftermath of the battle, the Ravenpaw deflection conspiracy, and a training session. RIP brave Rosetail, gone and immediately forgotten.
Wow, a lot goes down in these two chapters! Firepaw ignores Grawpaw’s question and Bluestar urgently wants to get back to camp. We meet a hot cat from outside the clans, they get attacked by rats and Bluestar dies, and also the ThunderClan camp is attacked by ShadowClan (rude). One of the main characters, Rosetail, is killed, and another random cat dies as well (Lionheart). ThunderClan again must have a new deputy.
Tigerclaw is a yucky tom and a scaredy cat. This episode covers the first travel sequence, as Firepaw, Graypaw, Ravenpaw, Tigerclaw, and Bluestar travel to the Mothermouth. Really the Moonstone, but I just wanted to say Mothermouth.
It’s the first gathering! In this episode we pontificate on Spottedleaf’s sweet smell, Runningnose’s nose (wet at the tip and encrusted around the edges), Brokenstar’s outrageous demands, and the reveal and aftermath of Yellowfang’s... secret???
And we're back with another episode! Not much to say about this one. Just listen, okay?! Jeez.
We are back once more with another episode, and we have some good news for you! A horse's teeth take up more space in its head than its brain. Link to the exclamation ranking poll
