Incident Recap: On February 18, 2026, around 9:30 p.m., Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) officers attempted to stop Da'Quain Johnson (32, Black man) on a bicycle near Eastern Avenue SE, suspecting he was armed (he was a convicted felon on parole with a prior gun charge). Johnson fled into an apartment complex parking lot. Officers deployed a K-9, leading to a struggle on the ground. An officer fired 3 shots into Johnson while he was face-down (K-9 biting his arm/neck area). Johnson died early February 19 at a hospital.Two Videos & Conflicting Narratives:GRPD Bodycam/Dashcam Footage (released February 19–20): Shows chase, K-9 deployment, struggle. We believe in Happy,  in Balance and Growth,  of being Mindful and Grateful, Compassionate and Understanding. Yowza Haha My Happy Friends! I was a popular kid when I was very young and super cute, But that all went away as I grew up awkward and weird, My ability to make friends disappeared making me destitute, And leaving me open to bullying, loneliness and all the things I feared. I fought against it as best I could, of course, trying to make friends on the sly, If I could just get people away from the crowds, I thought, they'd see I was cool, But it never lasted, the peer pressure was just too strong for them to defy, Something that lost its power over me as a general rule. If nothing you do has any effect on how others treat you, then you're free, I could dress how I liked, act how I liked, and be who I liked, It didn't change the frequency of the bullying, just the ammo they could use on me, But it stopped hitting the same way it once had--my fear and anger no longer spiked. Oddly, it was also a relief to not have to conform anymore, Conformity didn't help and nonconformity didn't hurt, So I chose nonconformity, which is quite a thing to explore, There's a freedom in being a Happy Outcast out in the cold and down in the dirt. I'm not saying it's ideal by any means, community is very meaningful to folks, Myself included, but when that's not an option, finding out who you are alone Is an important discovery to achieve even if it's just the broad strokes, It can grant you self-confidence beyond what you may previously have known. Raised feeling like an outsider, Matthew struggled to find belonging from an early age. As a young adult working at a car dealership in Vermont, a single impulsive decision—made while feeling wronged and unheard—led to a criminal conviction and an 18-month prison sentence. BIO: Gloria Giorno, founder of The Regan Society and author of Outcast: How the Radical Left Tried to Destroy a Young Conservative, is a Conservative Christian mother and wife. Born in the suburbs of Chicago, she lived in Communist Yugoslavia in 1972 while attending first grade. Gloria has first hand experience of the tragedies under Communism. Gloria has a deep appreciation for the freedoms that are taken for granted in America. Her book tells the true story of her son's experience at Belmont University when he was Student Body President in 2020. His post on his personal public Instagram account thanking our forefathers on the 4th of July in 2020 garnered hundreds of comments including calling him a racist, telling him to kill himself and brought about a change.org petition to have him removed as President as he was celebrating a “covertly racist holiday”. Gloria, a Loyola University Chicago graduate, was compelled to write this book to share what really goes on at colleges and show how conservatives are discriminated against by both students and administration. Gloria is passionate about young conservatives under attack at all levels of education.

Major Matt Neri joins Bryan Morrison for Part 1 of a two-part interview exploring his career in Search and Rescue. Matt shares his early aviation influences, flight training experiences, and first operational tours on the CH-149 Cormorant. From earning his wings to coordinating SAR missions at JRCC Halifax, this episode offers an inside look at the realities of rescue flying and what it takes to lead the busiest SAR squadron in Canada. 

An angry crowd hurled abuse and antisemitic slurs at Captain Alfred Dreyfus on 5th January, 1895, as he stood in the courtyard of the École Militaire in Paris to have his insignia torn away and his sword ceremonially snapped. He had been falsely convicted of treason. The case against him rested almost entirely on a memorandum - the bordereau - found torn up in a German embassy waste-paper basket.
