Mostly Kobolds EXTEND is a podcast about, well, almost anything at all! Mark & Avery take to the microphone, detailing various things they've been doing, from playing video games to listening to music, and even take a cheeky little peek at upcoming releases and various news tid-bits. Updates fortnig…
The main skivvy of it is that we're going on hiatus! After next weeks Dic Geeks, we're going to be taking an extended break from doing podcasts (save for a secret DG Xmas Special) until January next year. We're going to aim to produce some nice articles for you to gawk at in the mean time so we're not going to be completely silent! But yeah, see you next year ?Music by ghostwerk as always! https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
We're still a tad exhausted after the 2 hour EGX special and equally haven't really got much to talk about! So enjoy this ultra relaxed care free short episode where we vaguely talk about...stuff? Maybe?
Oh boy friends, prepare yourself for an extra long awful sounding spectacular where your usual two friends are joined by three additional friends in a fancy Hilton hotel! This week we talk a lot about the video games we saw and played for the first day of EGX that we were at (which was actually the third day of the event itself), make bad jokes and have plenty of awkward silences. But hey, it's a lot of fun and it's not as bad as you might think it would be!Music as always made by ghostwerk, check out his amazing stuff here: https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
Forgive the lazy title, but I couldn't think of any thing better. See folks, in the second half of this episode we talk about video games that'll be at the EGX convention later this month (of which we'll be attending). But in the first half we discuss Season 4 of Bojack Horseman, which is. Crushing, to say the least.
This week, we get a bit comfy and just have a good natter about random bollocks that we've been up to. "Business as usual", you say, but actually we kind of kept going to the point that we have no middle segment as per a regular episode! Part of that is due to the fact we watched something that's so bad you can't even talk about it, just sigh in disbelief (Death Note 2017). The other part of that is due to how it was a rather difficult day to record on so we ended up doing this at about 7pm. Either way, we're here to fill your ears with ambient chat so come, settle down, get yerself a cuppa and enjoy a good ol' episode of Mostly Kobolds EXTEND!Music by ghostwerk https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
We're back once again, here to tell you of the wonders of a flawed minigolf game, a flawed movie and one half of us not having a single thing to talk about! We got ourselves a minor spoilercast for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which is a movie that has a lot of people divided on how they feel about it! We also do a quick lil view on whats comin out in the next couple weeks cos at this point its just a habit. Gosh Bless. While we don't go too deep into the plot of Valerian, if you wanna skip that segment, we stop talking about it at 50:28. Enjoy the show!
Tally-ho! It's time for a new episode of EXTEND! This week, we have a bit of a natter about the wonders of Polybius, the obsessiveness of Minecraft, and the wonders of Spider-Man Homecoming. We sort of spoil it in a sense, so be careful! It's not as indepth as our tearing apart of Wonder Woman though. We then take a quick looksee at the past weeks headlines and the upcoming releases... and have a chat about them! Amazing!
It's EXTEND time again! Hooray! We talk about video games! Hooray! We also talked about more video games in the middle segment but it was so shit that Avery had to cut it out! Boo! Time for a slight change up in format methinks...I'll see what i can do for next week don't you worry listeners. In the meantime though, please enjoy this decent-ish episode. Dic geeks next week!
Welcome to the newest edition of Mostly Kobolds EXTEND! In this episode, we give you the premiere of a brand new segment called VNerds wherein Avery talks about whatever Visual Novel they've been playing recently (if they have), talk bollocks about some recent-ish DC movies (the ones that were well received not the shit ones) and how they could be improved, as well as touching upon THE RETURN OF RAVEN. Music by ghostwerk as always - http://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
Hey do you like video games? Do you like video games specifically p. much everyone saw at E3 last week? So do we! So listen to this bumper packed episode of Mostly Kobolds EXTEND wherein we talk about all of them. ...Most of them. A fairly large sized chunk of them. Enough of them to the point that we didn't talk about anything else this episode. Back to usual business in two weeks!Music by ghostwerk: https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
We love video games! We love them so much that we recorded a massive segment about whats upcoming at this years E3 and then did the parts that come before and after it, after. ...That makes sense, right? Either way, the opening and ending bits to this episode are a bit sleepy compared to the high-ish energy of the E3 bit because of that. Look out for Mark talking about the actual thing happening next fortnight, cos Avery is sure to be 110% tired and sick of hearing about it by that point. Ahh, videogames.Music by ghostwerk: https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
Hello! We had to record this one early due to stuff happening during our regular recording date. We were also rather pressed for time too. As such, we weren't able to record new interstitials for our "sponsors" nor could we do a new middle segment. The audio might be a lil clipped sounding at points too due to recording in Mark's room as opposed to our usual spot. So uh, enjoy this mostly news based episode of MKE? Maybe?? We'll have more interesting stuff for you next time, don't worry. If you found this episode rather lacking, we implore you to check out our secondary podcast, Dic Geeks! We just did an episode on Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats, it's good.Footnote, Mark says he doesnt think the company "Public Radio Alliance" exists and he's wrong: http://www.publicradioalliance.com/about-pra/ they're a separate entity to Pacific Northwest Stories and Minnow Beats Whale, the producers of Tanis and Rabbits etc. Footnote 2, Emma says Wikipedia says Shenmue 3 is coming out Q3 2018. It does not, it says December 2017. Still, Q3 2018 is probably more accurate.Footnote 3, the kids in Captain Underpants are called George and Harold. I don't remember if my summary of the main premise is right or not but who cares.Music by ghostwerk: https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
Ello ello! We're back, with a brand new podcast, and it's sure to go down a treat! This fortnight: we touch upon the changes made in Danganronpa 2 and reference an obscure-ish PC Engine game in the process, talk about how cute Chocobo are, check on some upcoming releases and news and open some packs of the worst CCG in the universe. It's the Mostly Kobolds EXTEND podcast. Here's some music credits:Intro & Outro music ("ichunti" and "Violate A Hater") by ghostwerk: http://ghostwerk.bandcamp.comExtra music by Deaf Lions: https://archive.org/details/noise-arch_deli_cop

Emma and Mark are back, with an all new more comfy podcast format! Back when LWIL was still a thing, we recorded this episode as quick bonus content due to lack of time to do a proper edition of the show. In a sense, this is the prototype for Mostly Kobolds EXTEND. It's focused on the one topic, and meanders a little bit, but that's quite alright with us. Welcome to Mostly Kobolds!Original Description: This week, the two pals have a bit of a play on the Playstation VR and have a bit of a chat about their experiences playing on it. Emma gets sick a lot. Mark has a bunch of fun. It's all the regular Mostly Kobolds content you've come to expect, but in a very casual form. One thing of note: Somewhere near the end of the episode, Mark mentions that he doesn't think Psychonauts: The Rhombus of Ruin is a real game. He wishes to point out that, since the recording of this episode, it HAS come out, he's bought it, played it and he very much enjoyed it. Alls well that ends well, eh?Featuring music (with permission) from ghostwerk! Go check their stuff out, it's great: https://ghostwerk.bandcamp.com
