-Jeff Durbin- Proverbs 24:23-26 Today, we continue our study in the Book of Proverbs and are learning about God's call to speak the truth about the evil around us. We are called to abandon the commitment we have to our favorite faces (partiality) and to tell the truth about the evil or sin that we are presented with There are consequences for blurring the lines of what is actually true. Good ones and bad ones May God create in us a humble boldness and we shine the light of His Truth into the world around us.

This week Tom & Zeus open Season 8 of Shout It Out Loudcast with a review of the most quintessential KISS compilation, the 1978 "Double Platinum!" This SIOL's 12th compilation review. This was KISS' first compilation and came out in a period where KISS would release 7 albums in two years including 2 double albums, one of which is Double Platinum. This compilation covers songs from 1974 - 1977, containing containing 20 songs from the first 6 KISS studio albums. The album was certified platinum and was produced by the great Sean Delaney. He remixed the songs and made some controversial changes to many of the tracks, including a new disco version of "Strutter" called "Strutter '78" but lovingly called "Disco Strutter" on SIOL. The album cover with its silver color KISS logos and red Double Platinum writing is legendary. When opened there were embossed images of the band members that were fascinating to view. The guys breakdown the track selection and then rank the compilation album and cover versus the previous reviewed compilation albums. A classic album from the classic era of KISS. Thank you Loudcasters for season 8! The Ziggens were led by Bert Susanka who sang and played rhythm guitar. Other members include Dickie Little on lead guitar, Jon Poutney on bass, and Brad Conyers who plays the drums and provides background vocals.[3] The Ziggens have been playing since the early 1990s and have developed a strong following in Southern California. The Ziggens were contemporaries with Sublime and were originally signed to their label Skunk Records. Their song "Big Salty Tears" was covered and popularized by Bradley Nowell on the Sublime acoustic album. The Ziggens, and more specifically Susanka, were also mentioned in the Sublime song "Greatest Hits". Also, their song "Outside" is sampled in the Sublime song "Smoke Two Joints" for the line "Smoked cigarettes 'til the day she died!".

RUNDOWN Mitch and Hotshot Scott reflect on the chaos and anticipation surrounding a third Seahawks–Rams matchup, debating momentum, matchup fatigue, and why this NFC Championship feels destined to be a coin flip despite Seattle's recent dominance. But the segment segues into a January 19th birthday remembrances, including Jean Stapleton, Junior Seau, Walter Jones, and a celebration of Dolly Parton. Mitch and Hotshot Scott relive all three previous NFC Championship Games at Lumen Field, from the 2006 breakthrough to the Miracle in 2014, while setting the stage for a fourth rubber match between the Seahawks and Rams. The discussion centers on the emotional weight of the 12th Man flag tradition following Paul Allen's legacy and the uncertainty around whether Pete Carroll, Jody Allen, or another iconic Seahawk should raise it. Ray Roberts explains why the Seahawks' 41–6 demolition of the 49ers wasn't a surprise, pointing to a confident, physical offensive line and a run game that has fully found its identity. He breaks down Kenneth Walker's late-season burst, the unselfish blocking culture among receivers, and how Sam Darnold's oblique injury hasn't altered Seattle's winning formula. Mitch, Brady Henderson, and Jacson Bevens break down why the Seahawks enter the NFC Championship Game in a stronger position than either previous matchup with the Rams, pointing to rest, home-field advantage, and a run game that has fully come alive. They discuss Sam Darnold's oblique injury, the status of key injuries up front, Kenneth Walker's late-season surge, and how Seattle might better contain Puka Nacua this time around. Mitch and Puck break down the emotional roller coaster of the Rams–Bears game and why the Rams, not Chicago, have always been the Seahawks' true postseason threat. They debate quarterback advantages, Sean McVay's mastery of the Seahawks defense, and whether Seattle's dominant run game and home-field edge can neutralize Matthew Stafford. The conversation also veers into NFC Championship superstitions, the 12th Man flag dilemma, and whether it's too soon for Pete Carroll to make a symbolic return. Stanley Simmons: From Viral Moment to Americana Revival | Evan Stanley & Nick Simmons Interview In this episode of Caught on the Mike, host Mike sits down with Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, the folk-Americana duo behind Stanley Simmons, for a conversation about creativity, connection, and finding the right sound at the right time. Though they've known each other their entire lives—and grew up immersed in music history as the sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS—they never intended to collaborate. That changed after a spontaneous viral Instagram video revealed an undeniable vocal chemistry, what they describe as a “third voice,” and sparked the formation of Stanley Simmons. The conversation explores the making of their debut single “Body Down,” a song rooted in Americana, folk, blues, and classic songwriting traditions, while feeling distinctly modern. Evan and Nick discuss writing 41 songs in just 11 months, working with legendary producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Paramore), and how early bedroom demos evolved into a full-length album. They also reflect on creating music without chasing trends, navigating legacy without leaning on it, and why they believe music is medicine—a form of resilience, expression, and connection in uncertain times. If you're a fan of Americana music, folk revival, singer-songwriters, roots rock, or artists like Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Noah Kahan, and Harry Styles, this episode offers a thoughtful look at two artists building something honest and enduring.

St. Louis loses control of its wildlife, Rizz loses his beard, and somehow figure skating becomes the most emotional thing we've talked about all year.If you woke up thinking, “There's no way today gets weird,” congratulations — you don't live in St. Louis. This daily comedy show starts with Rizz debuting a freshly shaved face he did NOT consent to, immediately followed by reports of multiple monkeys on the loose in Saint Louis' North City. Not one. Not two. Multiple. Including one wearing a collar and chilling in a woman's car like it was her pet. From there, The Rizzuto Show does what it does best: spirals. We break down how our show has somehow become the region's leading authority on monkey-related news, debate whether the city has officially entered its Jumanji era, and discuss the ethical implications of adopting a wild monkey mid-traffic stop. Then — surprise — we pivot to figure skating. And not in a “oh that's neat” way, but in a “why are we crying at jumps?” way. Enter The Quad God, a man so dominant he made Olympic-level athletes look like background extras. Rizz and Rafe attend the U.S. Figure Skating Championships and come back with stories about insane athleticism, emotional interviews, and falling on ice being WAY too relatable. As if that wasn't enough, the show also tackles Gen Z's obsession with 2016, introduces the internet's newest insult — the “choppleganger” — breaks down Nikki Glaser absolutely owning the Golden Globes, and dives into why modern parents are turning sleepovers into competitive Olympic events of their own. It's chaotic. It's heartfelt. It's wildly unnecessary in the best way possible. And it's exactly why this daily comedy show exists.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshowConnect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Daily Comedy Show Notes: Officials still searching for several monkeys loose in north St. Louis On January 12th, everyone is encouraged to find their favorite redhead and give them a peck on Kiss a Ginger Day Rose-tinted filter: Why 2016 is taking over social media in 2026 Being called a ‘choppelganger' is insulting — here's what the latest Gen Z term means Longtime Loch Ness monster hunter turns skeptic with down-to-earth explanation for sightings Wild conspiracy theory emerges behind 49ers' injury nightmare Hacking group says it's extorting Pornhub after stealing users' viewing data Researchers Trap Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters in Honeypot So Apparently Your AI Girlfriend Can and Will Dump You Missouri bill would remove Kansas City Chiefs as state's official NFL team See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
