This is a side project called "The Wi-Files". Essentially, MST3K but crazy, off-the-wall webistes instead of B-rate sci-fi. Dive into Whale.to — one of the internet's OG conspiracy treasure troves. Jay Munnie, KY-Jelly, and Sean riff through unhinged political cartoons, explore the site's anti-vax stances, and even stumble into an unsolicited rant about circumcision. It's weird, it's wild, and it's the internet uncensored.
John broadcasts from L.A. and he talks about Trump confusing NISSAN with NIPPON as he was announcing a new deal to sell U.S. steel to the Japanese company Nippon. He also discusses the formal goodbye from Trump to Elon Musk as the White House silently released a perfectly timed insider leak to the NY Times about Elon's heavy drug use. Elon was presented with a large gold key by Trump, a thank you gift for his service overseeing the destruction of America's most dependable and important agencies. Musk and Trump promised DOGE will continue as a part of the administration, urging congress to codify and finally make what they are doing legal. Next, he speaks with author Judy Karofsky about her new book "Dis-Elderly Conduct" which is a personal account of unmet needs in assisted living and hospice, and aims to spark discussions about new approaches for America's aging population and family decision makers. Then finally, TV's Frank Conniff of MST3K returns to joke with John and listeners about Elon's drugs, the deaths of George Wendt and Loretta Swit, and all things Trump.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
We dive back into the Patreon Vault as another Burt I. Gordon "classic" makes it's way to the show, 1958's WAR OF THE COLOSSAL BEAST. (Spoiler Section Length - 6min 41sec)The reputation of Disney sequels is generally not great, but among them the Lion King sequel and... interquel(?) tend to be favored. They're pretty wildly different in tone, with Simba's Pride maintaining a similar tone to the first movie, going for a Romeo and Juliet thing rather than Macbeth. Lion King 1½, meanwhile, is a purposeful farce, with a MST3K style 4th-wall-breaking setup and a story that takes place in the margins of the original film. Are these two films really the best that the direct-to-DVD era of Disney sequels has to offer, and more than that, are they still worth watching today? Listen to find out!

J. Elvis Weinstein was a head writer on many shows so he knows a good joke while Jay just jokes often from character. On this show we sort out the differences. Also J. talks about his funny family. Hobbies like ice cream, bad jokes, bubble gum jokes, fortune cookies, losing money on documentaries, saving your marriage by wasting less money than your wife thinks, Mystery Science Theater, old credits, and how jokes ruin dramas, hack jokes, improvisations, the perfect punchline, and hating Seinfeld. Bio: J. Elvis Weinstein began his stand-up comedy career at age 15 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At 17, he was one of the founding writer/performers of "Mystery Science Theater 3000” (MST3K) as the original voice/puppeteer of robots Tom Servo and Gypsy, and the role of Dr. Lawrence Erhardt.Since moving to Los Angeles, he has worked as a writer/producer on a wide range of network TV comedy, including "Freaks and Geeks", "Malcolm and Eddie", "Dead Last", and "My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star.” He was also the Head Writer on "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Later with Greg Kinnear". In 2008 he reunited with his MST3K co-stars to form “Cinematic Titanic” which toured U.S. Theaters as a live show and produced 12 DVDs, now available as a box set.J. Elvis has written and directed 3 films - 2 feature documentaries (“I Need You To Kill” & “Michael Des Barres: Who Do You Want Me To Be?”) and a comedy short (“The Mediocre Samaritan”). As a performer, he continues to perform as a stand-up (releasing the album “Chunks” in 2019), co-hosts the podcast “Thought Spiral” with comedian Andy Kindler, and recently co-starred in the feature film “The Fiddling Horse” (2020).

The Flat Earth Society is alive and thriving within The Anti-Matter Minute Dimension… and we're here to suffer through it. This week, we found an actual Flat Earth podcast that takes itself way too seriously, so we're doing what any responsible podcasters would do—playing it MST3K-style and ripping it apart. But that's not all! After the roasting ‘The Anti-Globe Trotters', we take things even further with our OWN models (so step aside Copernicus!) where we create our own absurd Flat Earth models that are somehow even dumber than the real thing. So grab a drink (but keep it level) and prepare to be brainwashed by government pigeons, because this episode is flatter than a bar mat at closing time.
Hey - guess what? Gene Hackman isn't in this movie.Host segments: 100% Gene Hackman-free; small critique of MiMi's kissing; Jeff has opinions about geologists; Nuveena kink; this is now a chair review podcast; shirtless beefcake American; Dean-o's outttakes.

After the Robot Holocaust, Chris and Charlotte are left to talk about women with accents, goofy character design, classic 70s cinema, obscure corners of New York City, and avocado recipes.
We're continuing our dive into the expansive Rothrock cinematic universe. This one is MUCH better.Host segments: a truly disasterous panel discussion; exaggerating the number of karate-ready government officials; what did they even win?; bidet humor; suspension of disbelief re: how many people can karate; the challenge of Raygun; the crazy summer of Top Gun; fixing these plot holes; we all shimmied.
