I know that there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes when it comes to making video games. At the same time, it weird to make promises to gamers and not deliver. There are some valid reasons for some games to be shitty like *ahem* Mafia 3 *ahem* due to scummy publishers. At the same time, Rockstar promised story DLC after the release GTA 5 and barely acknowledged that they ever said that. There's no real reason besides Rockstar suddenly thinking we didn't want it due to the popularity of online. I'm not mad the next GTA isn't here. I'm not even mad that they didn't come through on the DLC. We're just lucky we got the GTA we got because it was going to be way different. When the new GTA came out, she was probably going to just play the online version anyways, But when the next Grand Theft Auto drops, will the world still even be intact?
