The OddEven is an out-of-this-world hard rock band that takes inspiration from sounds of the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. Dawning alien stage personas, the current line-up consists of: Jon Weed - bass guitar, backing vocals Robb Wise - lead vocals Kyle Powell - drums E.T. - lead guitar, backing vocals The OddEven dropped their debut record Space Juice on April 20, 2020. It spawned singles "Again" and "Bleed for Something,” which each cracked Billboard's Mainstream Rock top 30 and Foundations top 15 charts. Touring came to a halt because of the pandemic, and The OddEven spent the rest of 2020 writing. In January 2021, the band started recording their new album, Dance of the Dead,
US cannabis culture has its roots deeply planted in reggae music. "Rockers" is the quintessential cult movie credited with introducing reggae music, Rastafarianism, and ganja to young American audiences in the 1970s. Before his death in 2015, the film's director Ted Bafaloukos penned an autobiography about his discovery of reggae in New York, and his experience shooting "Rockers" in Jamaica. In this episode, Brit talks to Gingko Press publisher David Lopes about the book "Rockers: The Making of Reggae's Most Iconic Film." Then, Brit talks to Niambe McIntosh, the youngest daughter of the late reggae legend Peter Tosh, founding member of The Wailers, to discuss the connection between the Rastafarian faith in Jamaica, weed, and reggae music.Find Different Leaf the magazine now on the shelves at Barnes and Noble and Books-A-Million bookstores across the US. In the age of social media, we're likely to experience either being copied, finding ourselves too influenced by other artists' work, or both. This is a sensitive topic on both ends. Being copied feels horrible (what do we do when it happens?), and trying to move away from the voices of other's when you're developing your own can be a big challenge. As part of our continued discussion on style development, I wanted to offer some nuanced thoughts for both positions with the hopes of validating the feelings those who have seen their work replicated and shine some light on how you can weed out any elements in your work that aren't really your own. I discuss... -- Thoughts on being copied, ways to handle it and possible perspectives -- The common things I see in work that is too influenced by others / how to tell if your work is too close to someone else's -- Ways to move away from your influences and make your work more your own (no shame here, just ideas) “UNIQUE: Style Development Workshop Series” is now open for enrollment! Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Simon: Hi Dr Cabral. What do you think about the hype surrounding apple cider vinegar and especially taking it before/during a meal to aid digestion? Is this a good thing to do daily (I would assume with the largest or highest protein meal). Which people and meals would this be most beneficial for? Javan: Can any over the counter pills help husband with low sperm count or mobility Maggie: Is smoking weed bad for your immune system? It helps me to de-stress after work and turn my brain off of work-mode and I have noticed that it helps me fall asleep but I worry that it's disrupting the quality of sleep I'm getting. I currently smoke every day and have read some contradicting things about it either being great for you or suppressing your immune system. Penelope: hi Dr Cabral, I am writing on behalf of my mom. She is in her 70s and has arthritis and is constantly in a lot of body pain. She does get relief from acupuncture that was advised by her doctor if she goes once a week. However, this isnt always possible and sometimes goes a few weeks without it (and recently longer). So I was wondering if there is anything else she can do at home that is long lasting to relieve the pain? Thank you for all that you do. Chelsea: Hi Dr. Cabral! Question from down in Australia! I got an Oura ring after hearing some of your podcasts on REM sleep and am loving it. I'm noticing that I'm getting 2-3.5 hours of deep sleep, but not much REM sleep (ie 45 mins to an hour and it's usually between 5 and 7am). Is that normal? I have good sleep hygiene but my Oura ring is telling me my REM is low. Is it ok to have REM lower if deep sleep is higher? Based on my charts I'm getting lots of good deep sleep from 10pm - 1am. If I've tried all the pointers in your past podcasts about REM sleep but am not seeing an improvement, is it possible I just get less REM than most? Thanks for all you do to share helpful information on holistic health! I learn from you every day and share your work often! Alyssa: Hi Dr. Cabral, I was hoping to get some further clarification on my htma lab. I went over it with my health coach during big 5 labs, and I didn't fully understand the explanation as to why I am dumping large amounts into my hair! My calcium was 271, my magnesium was 44, my sodium was 356 and Potassium was 5. I also tested high in aluminum at 5.32. I'm 36 with controlled RA due to your protocols (thank you!), live a healthy lifestyle, eat well and exercise. I started getting debilitating migraines in February after my second Vacc and histamine reactions to a lot of foods. Because of this I had to quit working full time as an RN in May. Otherwise I'd say I'm pretty healthy and feeling better since running your labs and putting in work on protocols. Do you mind further explaining why I would be dumping so large volumes of certain minerals into my hair? Thank you! Tim McBride is a former marijuana smuggler/pot hauler living on the edge of the Florida Everglades. From 1979 to 1989 Tim ran southern waters and the Caribbbean with a band of modern day pirates known by locals as Saltwater Cowboys. Night after night we offloaded up to 20 tons at a time from any vessel that would make the trip from South America. Like Mexico does now, Colombia supplied 42 percent of the marijuana consumed in the United States in 1984. The major percentage of this traffic was controlled by Tim's crews working with other smaller crews and several large Colombian organizations. https://originalsaltwatercowboy.com help us make more money: https://bit.ly/koncretepatreon sponsors https://liquiddeath.com - Use code KONCRETE at checkout to get a free koozie 2-pack with a 12-pack purchase. danny https://www.instagram.com/jonesdanny https://twitter.com/jonesdanny

Amanya and Janice are two mamas who are passionate about cannabis and how it helps them to be not only better parents but better women. Together, the friends created Women.Weed.WiFi, which is a collective that focuses on connecting folks and sharing knowledge in regards to how plant medicine can heal, create and grow every aspect of your wellbeing. On this episode, the ladies chat about how weed helped them during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Amanya and Janice also share why you should smoke weed when you meditate or stretch. These mamas want to spread the good word to everyone that weed is just a medicine that when utilized properly can be the key to a well life.
THC inflation is a problem in the cannabis industry. How does it work? Knowing that many consumers want the strongest product, many growers and distributors shop around for the lab that gives them the highest THC scores. This potency inflation, also known as lying, isn't good for those attempting to manage precisely how high they become. Ben Rosman, CEO & Co-Founder of PSI Labs, joins the show to talk about the dangers of mislabeled cannabis products on the market. His serves two of the largest markets in California and Michigan and he has very strong views on this topic.

In today's Meat the boys talk about girls on top, making s'mores, placenta, and pierced nipples. But first, Nappi discusses getting cummed in, heated toilet seats, snoring, and kissing in the morning. Then, Jay evaluates laws that have been repealed due to being too ridiculous. Piercing ones nipples says a lot about a person. For one, it says you are comfortable enough with your body to unapologetically expose it to the piercer. Second, it shows your resistance to conform to what society considers “normal” and “appropriate.” Third, it shows your ability to withstand and endure direct pain to a sensitive part of the body. Lastly, it shows that you are a sexual person (at least according to Nappi). In today's episode, the boys talk about Nappi's failed celibacy experiment and key indicators to identify a sexual person. Don't just free the nipple, pierce it too!
