Ad Free at www.patreon.com/dopeypodcastBilly Strings sits down for one of the rawest, heaviest, and most honest conversations ever recorded on Dopey. In this replay, Billy talks openly about growing up in chaos, losing his dad to heroin at age two, his mom's crack and meth addiction, violence in the home, poverty, hunger, couch-surfing, and the wild, psychedelic, musical household that shaped him. He walks through the exact moments his childhood shifted from love and music into danger, raids, labs, dealers, and watching addiction take over everyone around him.Billy tells stories about tweaking with his parents, smoking meth for the first time with his mom, first acid trips, playing guitar for 48 hours straight, metal bands, coke, crack dreams, and the insane scenes he lived through as a kid and teen.He talks about leaving home at 13, being homeless, trying coke and meth after swearing he'd never do hard drugs, the traumatic first time he did heroin, panic attacks, confronting childhood sexual abuse in therapy, and getting sober from alcohol nine years ago.Billy also goes deep on losing his mom in 2024, learning she died from meth intoxication, how he found out through the death certificate while on tour in Australia, the confusion, denial, anger, heartbreak, poems she left behind, and the letter from his biological father he discovered after her death — the first time he ever saw his father say he loved him.He shares what Trey told him about Al-Anon, how he's been listening to meetings, how his understanding of addiction has completely changed, and his desire to help kids growing up in houses like his. This is Billy Strings telling his story exactly as he lived it — no hiding, no sugarcoating, and no shame. In this must-hear breaking news episode, host Paul Rieckhoff and Washington Post Pentagon reporter and returning guest Dan Lamothe dig into the shocking September 2 “drug boat” strike that allegedly included a second “double tap” hit on survivors in the water—and why this may become the first real legal and political test of Trump's controversial boat strike campaign. They unpack who gave which orders, what Congress can demand, how video evidence could change everything, and why the Navy and Pentagon leadership are under new scrutiny from all sides. Paul and Dan also break down the pre-Thanksgiving targeted shooting of West Virginia National Guard soldiers in Washington, DC—one killed, one critically wounded—and what it reveals about domestic security, vetting, immigration politics, and the dangerous rush to be first instead of right when governors and politicians post about casualties. The conversation then zooms out to looming US strikes on Venezuela, ongoing war in Ukraine, and what happens if American aircraft go down on foreign soil in the middle of a fragile, hyper-partisan environment of misinformation. The guys also dig into negotiations and fault lines in Ukraine, how China may be quietly benefiting from America's distractions, and how a potential Venezuela operation could spin out politically and militarily without clear, credible communication. In one of the most jaw-dropping segments, Paul and Dan dig into the collapse of the traditional Pentagon press corps: CNN, The New York Times, Fox, and The Washington Post have now been fully pushed out of the building–and radical conspiracy-pusher Laura Loomer, MyPillow-linked outlets, and fringe “truth tellers” have taken over their access–and their desks. And they're talking junk about it. Dan and Paul also drill down on Trump's plans to attend the Army–Navy game later this month, what to look for, how that once-unifying event is now becoming a hyper-political stage, and why announcements and personnel moves tied to the game have mattered before—and could again. Plus, Dan shares why time with teachers, cops, and old classmates far from DC can be grounding in a moment of national whiplash. Paul gives a shoutout to the unifying Detroit Lions Thanksgiving halftime show with Eminem and Jack White—and why small cultural moments like that matter when the news is this heavy. Two years ago, I shared my story of quitting weed after 10+ years of dependent use. That episode became my most downloaded episode ever.So many of you reached out saying you felt seen, understood, and vindicated. You told me my story gave you hope. You asked me if I was still weed-free.The answer is yes. Three years strong. And this is Part 2 of sharing my story. In this raw and soul-stirring bonus episode of Legacy of Love, I'm sharing what I didn't tell you the first time—the part that broke me open completely. The dark night of the soul that became my greatest spiritual awakening.Because quitting wasn't just about putting down the weed. It was about learning to feel again. To breathe again. To trust God in the darkness. And to ACTUALLY hold myself through the depths of pain during this death & rebirth.Inside this episode, I share:✨ What that first month of withdrawal was really like✨ The night I scared my husband and myself—and how that moment changed everything✨ How my faith, breath work, journaling, and emotional embodiment practices guided me through the darkness✨ Why I couldn't teach women & couples to feel their emotions while numbing my own—and the vow I made to live in integrity✨ The difference between escaping your emotions and actually feeling them✨ How I reconnected with God, self-trust, and my purpose in the middle of my breakdown✨ Why your breakdowns are often the initiation into your breakthroughIf you've ever struggled with numbing, self-sabotage, or coping mechanisms that keep you from your fullest potential—this episode is your reminder that there's life on the other side of letting go.Because sometimes, God meets you right there—in the unraveling, the tears, the surrender—and teaches you how to breathe again.IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:I'm not an addiction specialist. This episode (& all episodes) are shared for educational purposes only. I'm sharing my own story as someone who is now three years weed-free. When I was struggling, I searched everywhere for other people's stories to affirm I wasn't alone. I wish this was talked about more.May this episode be an example of what is possible for you too if you're looking to release a toxic coping mechanism. If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse or mental health, this is your loving reminder that it is safe to ask for help. You don't have to do it alone.
In this classic April 2021 conversation, Independent Americans host Paul Rieckhoff sits down with actor Jon Bernthal for a raw, unfiltered look at America at a breaking point—through the eyes of a storyteller who has spent years playing warriors, cops and complicated men on the edge. They dig into service, violence, fatherhood, justice and what it really means to “have someone's back” when the cameras are off and the country is in crisis. Bernthal and Rieckhoff get real about the distance between Hollywood's image of war and the lived experience of veterans and military families, and why listening to people who have carried the weight is more urgent than ever. They talk about policing, accountability and communities that feel both over‑policed and abandoned—and how to hold two hard truths at once without hiding behind a party jersey. This episode is independent, unapologetically patriotic and fully bullshit‑free—two dads, both committed to service, wrestling with what we owe our kids, our neighbors and our country in the middle of a pandemic, political extremism and cultural chaos. If you are tired of hot takes and partisan spin, this is a powerful, human conversation you will feel long after it ends. In Hour 2 of the Best of the Tim Conway Jr. Show: Thanksgiving Day Edition, the stories just keep getting better. Tim kicks things off with a wild tale about his legendary father, comedian Tim Conway, and a run-in with the Chicago Mob — yes, really. Then it’s edible chaos as Conway and The Foosh swap weed stories involving gummies, edibles, and confusion. Next up, it's classic radio gold: Mark Thompson gets pulled over but can’t understand a word the officer is saying through the distorted loudspeaker. And to top it all off, we bring in the brilliantly funny Brian Regan sharing one of the best flying stories you’ve ever heard. It’s storytelling at its absolute finest — weird, real, and wildly entertaining.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This special Thanksgiving edition brings you part two of a dynamic Independent Veterans of America Winners Circle Town Hall featuring IVA 2026 Senate candidates Ty Pinkins of Mississippi and Dan Osborn of Nebraska—two independent veterans who are taking on entrenched incumbents, big money, and a broken two-party system. From New York City on Thanksgiving Day, Paul sets the table with gratitude for servicemembers, military families, cops, firefighters, and first responders who are working while the rest of America is watching parades and football. Then the conversation turns to the future: what it really looks like to run as an independent veteran in deeply red states, how to talk to voters across race and party lines in rural communities, and why so many Americans are fed up with being forced to choose between Trump on the right and Mamdani-style extremes on the left. Ty Pinkins shares what it means to campaign as an independent veteran in Mississippi—knocking doors in rural counties, bridging racial and political divides, and showing people that common sense, decency, and service still have a place in American politics. Dan Osborn, the former Navy veteran and mechanic who shook the establishment with a close U.S. Senate race in Nebraska, talks about why he is running again in 2026, how his grassroots movement has grown, and what it takes to challenge a billionaire-backed incumbent with nothing but grit, community, and a mission to put country first. Paul ties it all together with a Thanksgiving message about why veteran leadership matters as crises continue in places like Ukraine and Venezuela and as National Guard deployments ramp up at home, and why this independent veteran wave is just getting started. If you are an independent—or independent-curious—American who is tired of being politically homeless, or if you have ever thought about running for office yourself, this episode is a must-listen and a call to action. Independent Americans host Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff) rips through one of the most urgent, dangerous stories in American politics right now: Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth's unprecedented weaponization of the Department of Defense and FBI against Senator Mark Kelly and five other members of Congress, and millions of military retirees—just days before Thanksgiving. Coming to you from the new MS Now (formerly MSNBC) headquarters in Times Square, and after a whirlwind of speaking out, Paul connects the dots between Trump's escalating attacks, Ukraine's ongoing fight, 9/11 first responder revelations, and why this moment demands maximum vigilance from you—and every independent American. Paul explains how Trump and his “Acting” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth are targeting Senator Mark Kelly and six other members of Congress—sending a chilling message to over two million military retirees—who now fear being dragged back under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for what they post or say. This is bigger than Democrat vs. Republican—it is about right vs. wrong, and about whether America is still a place where free speech is protected from government retaliation. He analyzes Senator Slotkin's warning about a new FBI counterterrorism inquiry into her after a Trump-criticizing video, and how combining DOD and FBI power into a dual intimidation strike looks less like a democracy and more like the behavior of despots in Russia, North Korea, or Saddam's Iraq. In classic Independent Americans fashion, Paul also hits rapid headlines that everyone should be tracking heading into Thanksgiving: fresh Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, the simmering risk of U.S. strikes on Venezuela, the underreported stakes for National Guard and Reserve members serving in Congress, and new revelations about long-buried documents on the toxic dust that has killed more 9/11 first responders than were lost on the day itself. He connects it all back to accountability, vigilance, and the open seats at Thanksgiving tables that still remind families of the lasting costs of 9/11. And because this show always brings light, Paul closes with “something good”: a shout-out to The Duffel Blog—the “Onion for the military”—whose brutal satire of Trump's “woke” rhetoric, ICE raids, and Pentagon absurdity offers a sharp, much-needed laugh for vets and civilians alike. As we head into Thanksgiving we've got a special Veterans Day “Winners Circle” town hall that brings together Independent Veterans of America (IVA) candidates who are changing American politics from the ground up. Independent Americans host and IVA founder Paul Rieckhoff moderates a powerful, unfiltered conversation with two newly‑elected independent veterans—Mike Procuk (Frederick County, VA School Board) and Toby Proctor (North Granby, CT Board of Finance)—and IVA candidates Todd Achilles (Idaho), Donna Charles (Virginia) and Brian Bengs (South Dakota). They break down how independents are actually winning, why veterans are some of the last public figures people still trust, and how corrupt, money‑soaked party politics is failing regular Americans. From school boards and local finance boards to U.S. Senate races across red states, these veterans share ground‑truth stories from the trail, the brutal ballot‑access obstacles they face, and the insider strategies that prove independents are not spoilers—they're the future. Next week in Tennessee, the biggest and most important election since Election Day is happening. And it could be a key bellwether for the mid-term elections next year. But most of America doesn't know it's happening. Or that an independent veteran is running in it. But this fascinating and intense race is a reflection of all that is broken in American politics today. And also, may give you hope for the future. Can the Republicans hold this solidly red district? Will the Democrats continue their hot streak and win again? And will this little-known independent candidate be the determining factor? Independent veteran Congressional candidate Jon Thorp joins Independent Americans host Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff) from rural Tennessee to break down his high‑stakes special election outside of Nashville, why he walked away from the GOP to run as a true independent, and how MAGA money, Democrat Super PACs, Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, gerrymandering, and broken election rules are all stacked against independent candidates like him. We'll take you inside this fight for a Congressional seat that could alter the entire balance of power in Washington. In this latest special “Meet the Independent Candidate” episode, Paul talks exclusively with the former Army soldier and independent veteran who is running in a December 2nd special election in Tennessee's 7th District—a race drawn to be safely Republican but now suddenly competitive. Jon explains how a district that stretches across 14 counties from the Kentucky line down toward Alabama was carved to exclude downtown Nashville, why that gerrymander matters, and what he is hearing from disillusioned voters who feel politically homeless and ignored by both parties. Jon is facing a Trump-supported loyalist and extreme Republican Matt Van Epps, AND a Kamala Harris-supported far left Democrat Aftyn Behn–and presenting himself as the moderate voice of reason in the middle. Trump is watching this race closely. You should too. And Paul also breaks down the top stories of the day–including reaction to the breaking news that the cases against James Comey and Leticia James have been dropped–and that Secretary of Defense and Pete Hegseth are considering launching an investigation and UCMJ legal action against political opponent, Navy Veteran and Democrat Senator Mark Kelly. Show Notes Episode 87: Thanksgiving In Hell Total Redux This week host Dave Bledsoe found himself in Federal Custody after getting shitfaced in an Irish bar and loudly demanding he wants to be deported to Ireland. (Note, he is not actually FROM Ireland but he thought he would give it a try.) On the show this week we dug deep into the vaults to pull out an ancient but seasonally appropriate show, dusted off some of the references and hope you wouldn't notice we did it years ago. Along the way we discover that no one in Dave's family misses him at holiday dinners at all. (Or any other time of the year.) Then we dive right into how to get through Thanksgiving Dinner without killing a distant relative. (Weed, the answer is weed.) Then we cover in painful details all the ways to WIN a fight with your relatives at your Thanksgiving Dinner. (Fight dirty.) Our Sponsor this week is Distractors, punch the button, stop the fight before it starts. We open the show with a typical American holiday dinner and close with Flula who does not want you to call it a comeback. www.patreon.com/dopeypodcast This Week on Dopey! Billy Mother Fucking Strings comes on to share his truth! But first Dave meditates, reads spotify reviews, reads an email about premature ejaculation, and a voicemail from Dopey OG Alex on meth, fent and needing makeup! Then Billy joins Dave on Dopey to talk openly about addiction shaping his entire life—from his dad dying of a heroin overdose when he was two, to growing up in houses full of meth use, crack dealers, and chaos, to smoking meth and tripping on acid with his mom as a teenager. He describes leaving home at 13, couch surfing, dropping out of school, playing in metal bands, smoking crack, and eventually getting pulled back toward bluegrass.Billy talks about how his parents' addiction destroyed stability, how meth “fucked everything up” in his hometown, how he stayed awake for four-day binges while playing guitar with his dad, and what finally made him leave. He also describes the first time he did heroin, why he stopped drinking nine years ago, and how addiction still affects him through dreams and cravings. He reflects deeply on his mother's recent death from methamphetamine intoxication, discovering his dad was using too, attending Al-Anon meetings, reading his mom's poems, and trying to break the cycle for his own son. He also talks about touring arenas, the pressure of success, therapy, panic attacks, being molested as a child, and wanting to help others impacted by addiction. All that and much more on a wall to wall traumatic tale of how secrets can make us sick! This week and forever on the good old Dopey show!Happy Thanksgiving! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Admiral Bill McRaven joins Independent Americans host Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff) for episode 379 of Independent Americans, diving deep into America's leadership crisis, political toxicity, and how core values shape our future. This is the guy we all need to hear from RIGHT NOW. Navy SEAL, former Commander of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), former Chancellor of the Texas University System, Best Selling Author, grandfather, Trump critic and patriotic voice of reason. And the man who in 2019 wrote an old titled “Our Republic Is Under Attack From the President" and in an open letter to Trump in 2018: "Therefore, I would consider it an honor if you would revoke my security clearance as well, so I can add my name to the list of men and women who have spoken up against your presidency." Drawing on decades of command and real-world experience, McRaven cuts through the headlines like a knife—and offers sharp guidance for navigating chaos—whether in politics, the military, or your family table. And especially on this Friday when it feels like the world is on fire. This episode covers national security, the importance of education as the true foundation for stability, sports, and why hope and community matter most now. If you feel politically homeless, want real leadership lessons, or just crave clarity from a voice that's been in the arena, this conversation delivers. It's a true example of a leader who is staying vigilant, staying independent, and showing how America's best can still lead the way. Because every episode of Independent Americans with Paul Rieckhoff breaks down the most important news stories--and offers light to contrast the heat of other politics and news shows. In a week where political rhetoric reaches new levels of danger and America's legal system braces for impact, Independent Americans host Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff) sits down with the show's resident legal heavyweight Asha Rangappa (FBI veteran, Yale professor, Substack baller) for an unfiltered, expert breakdown of the legal issues and headlines setting America aflame. Asha returns to help us parse Trump's escalating and dangerous “seditious” threats to Democrat lawmakers who posted a video to the troops, the legality of US military interventions (like controversial drug boat strikes), and how lawmakers' messaging to servicemembers and ongoing military operations could spark unprecedented legal and political crises. And, bringing insight and humor, Asha shares personal stories of navigating American colleges as both parent and professor, her unique role in interpreting military law, and why she loves the TV show “Love is Blind.” Because every episode of Independent Americans with Paul Rieckhoff breaks down the most important news stories--and offers light to contrast the heat of other politics and news shows. Federal hemp crackdown, gas station gummies, and THC alphabet soup, all rolled into one Sesh.In this episode, Brandon and Jesse spark up some loud Larry OG and unpack what the new federal move to pull “minor” cannabinoids off the shelves really means, not for lobbyists, but for the people actually eating these gummies and hitting these pens. You hear a lot about “Delta this, THC that,” but nobody explains who gets safer and who just gets pushed deeper into the shadows. So we do.What we get intoWhat the feds are trying to ban next year, including delta 8, THC O, HHC, THCP and other synthetic hemp cannabinoids that get you liftedWhy most of these lab-cooked cannabinoids feel nothing like whole plant cannabis, and why real consumers rarely touch gas station “hemp highs”The THCa loophole, how companies ship “legal weed” through the mail, and why the farm bill accidentally created a nationwide grey marketHow bans on flavored nicotine vapes, spice, kratom and now synthetic cannabinoids keep pushing people toward sketchier, unregulated productsWhy kids are not walking into Chevron to buy these products, and how lawmakers keep legislating optics instead of outcomesThe difference between regulation and prohibition, and how overtaxing and overregulating cannabis states like California actually feed the black marketA real talk side quest on psilocybin as a sacred tool, not a party favor, and what integration looks like after a heavy journeyNarcan vending machines, cough syrup highs, Sudafed IDs, and the weird lengths people go just to feel somethingQuestions we throw at each other, and at youDoes banning cannabinoids like HHC, THC O or THCP actually make anyone safer, or does it just crank up curiosity and push it undergroundShould ultra-potent cannabinoids ever be on gas station shelves, or only in tightly regulated medical settingsIs THCa really different from “normal” cannabis in any way that matters, or is it just a label game that lets some states pretend it is not weedWill this hemp crackdown empty shelves next year, or will we just see THC 10, THC 11 and THC “whatever is still legal” pop up insteadIf you live in a hemp only state, what does this change for you, and do you end up safer, screwed, or just more confusedIf you have ever grabbed a random “hemp gummy” from a smoke shop, live in a state with no legal cannabis, or know someone who thinks delta 8 is “diet weed,” this episode gives you the context nobody at the counter is telling you. We are not fearmongering, we are just tired of people getting wrecked by products that exist purely because our laws are written by people who do not understand the plant or the culture. This one is for anyone stuck in the loopholes.Save on Dr Dabber with Code: Cannabisschool10Save on Storz & Bickel with Code : CannabisschoolSave on Santa Cruz Shredder with Code: CSP10Save on Bomb Erigs with Code: CSPScore 100 on your test

Legendary NPR Pentagon correspondent Tom Bowman returns to Independent Americans for a timely, unflinching conversation about war, truth, journalism, and the future of our democracy. Hosted by Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff), this episode pulls back the curtain on major national security stories the mainstream press can't or won't cover—from the White House's escalating battle against independent media, to looming military action in Venezuela, to how Pentagon secrecy impacts the lives of American troops and families. Tom and Paul dive deep into today's threats to press freedom, why he handed in his credentials after 28 years, the realities of military reporting post-Iraq and Afghanistan, and what these changes mean for everyday Americans. Today's conversation features Lionel Moses—family man, veteran of Desert Storm, coach, and author of The Marriage Seed. We dig into relationship mastery across home and work: self-awareness over blame, trust over suspicion, and communication that lands (not just "gets said"). 3 Main Takeaways Start with self. Lasting change begins by checking beliefs, tone, and patterns before judging a partner. Choose trust over suspicion. Misunderstandings shrink when curiosity and clarity lead the interaction. Weed the garden, consistently. Relationships thrive when small problems are pulled early—over and over. Three Core Topics (with timestamps, explanations, and quotes) Self-Responsibility > Perfection Hunting (05:52–06:39; 11:11–12:14) Timestamp: 05:52 — 06:39 Why it matters: Recognizing that minds change proves self-knowledge evolves. Extending the same grace to a partner transforms conflict from judgment to teamwork. Perfection tests (ROCD, nitpicking) block real connection; openness creates possibility. Notable quote: "If you change your mind, that proves you disagree with your old self… give grace for your partner." (05:52–06:39) Trust Over Suspicion (14:37–15:16; 15:38–16:25) Timestamp: 14:37 — 15:16 Why it matters: Many "communication problems" are interpretation gaps. Filling those gaps with trust, not suspicion, stabilizes connection and keeps dialogue constructive—even after past hurt. Flexing rigid checklists into "openness to possibilities" prevents discarding viable partners for trivial reasons. Notable quote: "When you're trying to establish a relationship, you have to really know how to fill in those gaps of misunderstanding with trust versus suspicion." (14:37–15:16) Tone, Pauses, and the Garden Rule (18:45–20:10; 08:06–08:48; 31:00–31:38; 32:34–32:53) Timestamp: 18:45 — 20:10 Why it matters: Tone is a reflex—and often invisible until heard back. Recording and replaying increases awareness, making it easier to shift delivery. Pair this with the "dung grows things" and "measure twice, cut once" mindset: expect mess, pause before reacting, and remove small weeds quickly to protect what's growing. Notable quotes: • "Most people… don't like their own tone. When they hear it, it annoys them enough to make the change." (19:24–20:08) • "One of the best fertilizers you can have is dung." (08:06–08:48) • "Measure twice, cut once." (31:00–31:38) + "That's a learned behavior." (32:34–32:53) Extra Gems (fast timestamps) Boundary + buy-in at work: Relationship habits bleed into teams; clarity and care increase performance. (27:09–29:44) Weed therapy: Pull issues up by the roots, repeatedly. (25:52–26:06) Win-win-win frame: Healthy partnerships benefit the two people and the world around them. Auburn freaks out after Border Patrol uses cameras to supposedly catch criminal illegal immigrants. There is new video of the arrest of the man who impersonated as a Bremerton police officer. King County shut down over a dozen unpermitted food vendors during Monday’s Seahawks game. // Weed use among young Washingtonians is more prevalent than ever. // The Left is losing its mind over Trump making some modest renovations to the White House.
Today's Headlines: The government's still shut down—but hey, the Senate finally passed a funding package, which now heads to the House so they can, you know, maybe reopen the country. The deal only funds things until January and gives Democrats a pinky promise to hold a vote on extending Obamacare subsidies next month. Meanwhile, hidden inside the bill is a clause letting senators sue the government for $500,000 if their phone records were searched in the January 6th probe. There's also a proposal to recriminalize THC and hemp-derived products, which would basically nuke a $30 billion industry overnight. The Supreme Court just extended the Trump administration's ability to block SNAP payments through Thursday, so… no rush on feeding people. Elsewhere, the House is finally about to have enough signatures to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files once Adelita Grijalva finally gets sworn in today. But don't get too excited—it probably won't happen until December, if ever. Trump, meanwhile, is asking the Supreme Court to toss out the $5 million he owes E. Jean Carroll, and one of his pardoned Jan. 6 guys just got re-arrested for kidnapping and sexual assault. So that's going great. Overseas, the BBC is melting down after an independent report found major bias issues and a Hamas-adjacent narrator situation. Two execs have already resigned, and Trump's threatening to sue them for $1 billion because a documentary made him look bad (like, worse than usual). And in D.C., plastic surgeons say “Mar-a-Lago face” is the latest cosmetic trend—apparently, looking filler-blind is in. We've got a special Veterans Week treat for this episode as Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff) welcomes back legendary artist, activist, and punk rock icon Henry Rollins for a fiercely honest conversation about division in America, the state of democracy, and the enduring need for vigilance. From stories of Rollins's global travels to his reflections on what it truly means to be punk—and patriotic—in 2025, you'll get an unfiltered look into his mindset, leadership, and hard-earned lessons from decades on the front lines of culture and activism. They tackle everything from current headlines to personal discipline, empathy, and standing up to extremism. Rieckhoff and Rollins dissect Trump, Fetterman, Venezuela, and how music, community, and the spirit of inclusion can battle America's most toxic divisions. Whether you're a first-time listener or a devoted fan, this is a masterclass in punk rock citizenship and independent values.
