Modern relationships have expanded the purview of what it means to cheat on someone. It used to be that infidelity was when a person had sex with another person outside of a committed relationship. Nowadays, infidelity includes emotions, finances and even attention - it's no longer considered just physical. Skinny and Dee have vastly different experiences as women. Heterosexual women who are sexually active will have experienced the side effects of contraception at one point. So how is it possible that Skinny once got a pregnancy scare??

Skinny moved between America and Kenya from age 2. Dee moved to Australia at 19 where she lived for thirteen years. Neither one of them could have foreseen how life would turn out and that they would eventually find themselves back in Kenya, but with an omnipresent feeling of being neither here nor there - neither fully Kenyan nor fully Western.

"I had a dream..." was the conversation that literally got us here. Dee and Skinny both entered a podcast competition at the start of the year. They both didn't win. Dee later had a dream of starting a podcast with Skinny and told her. After a brief "ok you Martin Luther King mofo, let's!" Here we are.
