We've all heard the stories about sudden and serious reactions to bee stings, even in people who have been bee keeping for a while who've had stings with no previous life threatening response. In this episode, we get to hear two first hand experiences of anaphylactic reaction to bee stings, and subsequent bee venom immununotherapy, from two Aussie women beekeepers - Jo McDonald and Kerry Caligiore. You'll unfortunately hear a few sound glitches in our second interview due to some connection issues, so apologies in advance! For more information on bee venom immunotherapy, please see below: https://www.allergy.org.au/images/pcc/ASCIA_PCC_Allergen_Immunotherapy_FAQ_2020_.pdf --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/she-beek/message
