How do you cope with grief when life doesn't feel okay? What does Ayurveda say about loss, impermanence, and the pain that leaves holes in our hearts? In this deeply personal episode of Ojas Oasis, we explore how to be okay when you're not okay. Through the lens of Ayurvedic wisdom and spiritual reflection, Sasha holds space for grief, heartbreak, and the disorienting reality of impermanence. When we lose someone, whether through death, separation, or life changing unexpectedly, it can feel physical. Like the ground has disappeared beneath us. Ayurveda teaches that grief impacts the heart, the nervous system, and our sense of safety. Rather than bypassing pain or forcing positivity, this episode invites you to sit with it.Inspired by the spiritual reflections of James van der Beek on life, death, and presence, this conversation explores:How to cope with grief and lossThe Ayurvedic understanding of impermanenceWhy emotional pain can feel physicalHolding compassionate space for yourselfGrief as fragmentation and transformationSpiritual perspectives on death and dyingIf you are navigating loss, heartbreak, or existential sadness, may this episode serve as a compassionate witness. You do not need to make sense of your pain. You do not need to rush your healing. You are allowed to not be okay.Grief can fragment us toward destruction, or toward deeper love and wisdom. This is an invitation to stay soft. To stay human. In this episode of the show, Binksy and Stu look back at Day 4 of the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup, which featured three games: Netherlands v Namibia, New Zealand v UAE and Pakistan v USA. We start the show by discussing the Black Caps' win against the UAE, which saw them power home thanks to a record-breaking partnership between Tim Seifert & Finn Allen. We talk about playing smart, bowling rotations, Alishan & Waseem's 100-run partnership and the impact of Michael Bracewell's injury news. The first game of the day saw the Netherlands bounce back from their tough loss to Pakistan with a fairly comfortable win against Namibia. There were missed chances early, but Aryan Dutt and Logan van Beek were impressive with the ball, then Bas de Leede produced an all-round masterclass to ice the game and get the Dutch back on track. Next we move on to Pakistan's victory against the USA, which edges them one step closer to the Super 8s. There were runs for Farhan and Babar, then wickets for the spinners to restrict the USA. Despite the loss for the USA, there's praise for Shadley van Schalkwyk and the batting of Ranjane & Jahangir, plus Shadab Khan's impact for Pakistan. To round out the show, the boys look ahead to Day 5, which looks set to be a cracker, with games between Afghanistan and South Africa, England and the West Indies, plus Australia begin their World Cup against Ireland. We'll be back in your feed again tomorrow with the next instalment of our T20 World Cup coverage. Trust Users, Then Iterate. In this clip, Samuel Beek, Chief Product Officer at VEED, explains how real user testing shapes what actually ships. Before launch, products are put in front of large groups of users, and especially a panel of super users, to see how they're really used, not how the team assumes they'll be used.Sometimes VEED takes a bet and ships early, then refines based on what they observe. The big insight?

Why Creatives Need Both Structure & FreedomIn this snippet, Samuel Beek, Chief Product Officer at VEED, shares a key insight on creative work: Creativity thrives on constraints and space.A few guardrails help guide ideas but creatives also need a blank canvas to truly express themselves. Samuel explains how VEED once relied on highly restrictive templates. While they looked great and performed well on social media, users didn't love them. The learning?True creative satisfaction comes from choice, flexibility, and freedom, not just polished outcomes.Listen to the full podcast- https://premade.outgrow.us/interview-with-Samuel-Beek#Outgrow #Podcast #SamuelBeek #VEED #CreatorEconomy #ProductDesign #CreativeFreedom #UXDesign

Brent Dial, Founder and CEO of Beek Health, has built a platform that addresses patient information fragmentation by aggregating data from patient portals and providing direct access to lab testing. Health literacy is key to preventing chronic diseases, and AI is being used to scale the delivery of personalized health information. Identifying relevant biomarkers and early warning signs supports proactive health management that can alter long-term health outcomes. Brent explains, "Beek Health is re-imagining healthcare by finally putting the individual at the center of their health journey. While we talk about patient-centric or customer-centric or shared decision-making, it's not real in practice, and it's for good and for very clear reasons. There's information asymmetry, there's information overload, and then information is quite fragmented." "Currently, we have three subscription tiers. The first option is the basic plan, which gives you platform access to synthesize and connect with multiple patient portals, as many as you have. The average individual has at least two patient portals, and it's estimated you'll see 17 different providers in your lifetime. So that's a lot of data spread out across different systems. So, one, you can sync. We have over 40,000 endpoints or provider locations where you can sync your patient portal information in one unified dashboard. All the dashboards look different." "Second, you'll have access to labs anytime you need them. And so labs are woefully underutilized for health tracking: 70% of diagnoses are based on lab results, so you can access them anytime you need to. We partner with LabCorp, which has over 2,000 locations, and you'll receive your results within 48 hours. In addition, we're adding cost navigation, cost estimate tools, and some more fun features on our roadmap, but that just gives you basic access for a year for $99." #BeekHealth #HealthInYourHands #OwnYourHealthData #HealthTech #DigitalHealth #PatientEmpowerment #HealthcareReimagined #ConnectedHealth #FutureOfHealth beekhealth.com Download the transcript here

A conversation with Brent DialTo Brent Dial, the pursuit of health is about three things: agency, education, and collaboration. And that's exactly what Beek Health, the start-up he co-founded earlier this year, are all about.Beek are on a mission to revolutionize the bloated patient data process: reducing wasted time, resources and patient stress. Gone are repeated scans, poor communication and unnecessary surgeries.By putting the power into the patient's hands, their innovative combination of health literacy, technology, and patient empowerment raises hope for solving the issues of healthcare equity in the United States. —We spoke about how the current healthcare system often leaves patients feeling disconnected and uninformed, biomarkers, the role of technology in democratizing health information, and the need for a paradigm shift from a clinician-centric to a patient-centric approach.Follow me on Instagram and Facebook @ericfethkemd and checkout my website at www.EricFethkeMD.com. "If we lived in the poorest, most dangerous neighborhoods, we'd understand better how to love and serve." — Dr. Kurt Ver Beek It was great to sit down with Dr. Kurt Ver Beek, co-founder of the Association for a More Just Society (ASJ), who has lived and worked in Honduras for nearly four decades. From battling systemic corruption to reducing the homicide rate in one of the world's most dangerous communities, Kurt shares a riveting account of faith in action and public justice rooted in Christian conviction. We explore the difference between traditional missionary work and systemic transformation, how theological frameworks can drive bold action, and why brave Christianity is needed now more than ever.
