Short Attention Gamer - A General Gaming Podcast

We've almost gone a full year without a show, so we get together to mostly just chat about life and stuff then eventually start talking about some video games. Maybe we'll keep this up for real this time? 

What better way to spend the day than listening to this unannounced Short Attention Gamer episode? It's your regular mix of new game talk, old game talk, and HGTV. Did you know BioShock has a really strong opening? It's true.

Good times with good buds. Here we are talking about the perfect earthy day activity, Animal Crossing and how it is driven by capitalism and turnips. I guess we talk about Final Fantasy too. It didn't take until Father's Day to post! Score!

It's kind of weird having two episodes inside of a month's worth of time, but here we are. Two weeks after our last spectacular show, we're here to comiserate about how being stuck at home isn't any fun and talk about how Adam bought 4 copies of Animal Crossing to go along with his 4 Switches. He's hoarding Switches like toilet paper. I think we also talk about other games, but I currently am out of coffee so that's all you're getting.

We needed to get together and just shoot the breeze while havin' fun. There's no b-ball under the sun with this pandemic going on though. Jim has been in quarantine for weeks while Adam is somehow considered essential, and Todd is just beginning his fun. We rap about new stuff like Animal Crossing and Doom: Eternal! We even talk about old stuff like Divinity Original Sin 2. Join us while you're stuck inside! 

This is an amazing holiday spectacular, being posted just in time for... Thursday! We get the whole old crew together Phokal, Kragg, Modeps, Todd, and Pwn to discuss a bunch of random stuff. I'll probably end up re-listening to the show because I don't remember specifics, except it was fun. Enjoy!

Borderlands 3 came out, so we decided to podcast and talk about Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and virtual reality stuff. Then Jim decided to geek out a bit talking about Dungeons and Dragons and why it's fun, even for a 40-year-old. Give it a listen!

Adam, Todd, and Jim are back after a month of the hot summer time love. We were greeted with Google's Hangouts on the Air being deprecated, so we were forced to quickly change gears. We got it together like we always do though, and ended up talking about a bunch of games including that Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Dicey Dungeons too! Please enjoy.

Two weeks in a row? Amazing! We're here with the full crew to talk about the biggest event about video games not featuring Sony, E3! It's a good, fun show, with some old friends that you've missed for months. Dad humor abounds as we all make a pick for the game we're most excited about and blow through the entirety of the show in a very reasonable hour eighteen.

What do you get when a truck hits a light pole? Adam and Todd talking about The Division and the age of digital subscription services! We have a guest this week from nearly a decade ago, Adam joins the show and struggles to not swear. We rap about some games like Apex Legends and Kingdom Hearts 3 but meander a bit because we haven't talked to each other in a long time.

Here's a long episode that's a bit overdue, but we talk Spiderman, we talk something called Starlink, and of course some game called Red Dead Redemption 2.

Todd's birthday was yesterday and he does his very first unboxing of some video game specific hardware. Of course we spend most of the time talking about Spider-Man because that's the game of the moment. Oh, and Jim's room isn't embarrassing anymore.

  Jim came back from a vacation and wanted to rave about a real life game called MagiQuest, so here's an hour of that. Not really, but there's a lot of talk about life this time around as well as video games. Are you having problems playing Destiny 2 too? Todd is. An attempt to correct mic gain today resulted in a little too soft Jim. NEXT TIME we'll be better right?

Podcastin' for the month of July before it is August. We rap about Slay the Spire, Binding of Isaac, and about a million things that Todd has been playing, except Fortnite. Sorry for the hot mic, I must be getting too many gainz.

On this long awaited episode, Jim and Todd give a rundown of their E3 throughts and how some of the press conferences were a little weird this year. Todd actually finished God of War, and Jim has discovered a sweet new game that he really likes, all because of the Bethesda conference and some DLC.

We talk half video games, half life in this sobering podcast full of alcoholic Fruit Punch, feelings, and family.
