Nevis Brands CEO John Kueber joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the company has signed a licensing agreement with Drecisco Farms of Morton Grove, Illinois, to produce and distribute its flagship THC beverage, Major™. Since its 2019 launch in Washington State, over 5 million bottles of Major have been sold. Under this agreement, Drecisco Farms will license Nevis' full Major lineup and initially focus on producing Major shots in Blueberry, Fruit Punch, and Blackberry Lemonade flavors. For those unfamiliar with the brand, it's an 11% ABV, wine-based RTD party punch in flavors like Blue Razzberry, Pink Lemonade, and Fruit Punch. Sound like fun? Well, fun — and fun flavors — are its main selling points, and this brand is on fire, especially with Millennial and Gen Z audiences. BeatBox did more than $100 Million in sales last year, and is on track to double that again this year.  The brand first made headlines in 2014 for getting one of the biggest investments on Shark Tank's history, with a $1 Million dollar investment from Mark Cuban. But lest you think it was smooth sailing from there on, that wasn't the case. When I bought the can of Fresca, I pulled a can out of an 8-pack and you weren't allowed to buy single cans. You could only buy an 8-pack. So when the cashier blipped it into the machine, she didn't even notice how she charged me for eight cans. And then, the next day, I went back to the same store to get seven more cans (that I had already paid for) and I was to scared to say anything. I didn't even ask. I got nothing.

The guys are back! Wayne fresh off of a vacay refresh shares the details of his warm weather trip with the rest of the pod. Unfortunate deaths both locally & nationally spark prayers and conversation for the guys. Dwayne Haskins of the Pittsburgh Steelers dies & locally Patrick Lyoya is killed by a Grand Rapids Police officer. The guys give praise to Dwayne and touch on the nasty remarks he received from reporters following his death. With little information on the Patrick Lyoya story during this recording, the guys briefly share their thoughts on what they've heard on the shooting. The guys will discuss this story more over the following weeks, as more is made known. Ketanji Brown Jackson is confirmed as first black woman on Supreme Court, and the guys give her the props for everything she went through to reach the confirmation. The NBA playoff brackets are released and the guys go through and share their predictions on each round. In music, it's a jam packed week of first takes.
