The boys drink and review Vixen Irish Style Red Ale by Old Bust Head, then discuss a provision from the infrastructure bill that was designed to prevent drunk driving. The mandate is that all cars after 2026 would have a system to monitor the driver to ensure he's not drunk, in which case it will shut down the car. This system would monitor the face of the driver and all conversations in the car. Who came up with this, and why isn't there more conversation about it? This law gives the government a back-door switch to decide who can and who can't drive. The justification is to stop drunk driving, but of course it will be expanded beyond that. P&C discuss all the ways this could go wrong and how the government and other bad actors could use this in devious and dangerous ways. Even if mosquitoes make your skin crawl—or you think of them as nothing more than the flying, biting pests we all can't stand—you'll be surprised by how fascinating they really are. In this episode of Bio Bytes, Dr. Laura Duvall, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Columbia University, joins Celine to explore the surprising science behind mosquito behavior.Together, they dive into how blood-feeding and mating trigger long-lasting changes in female mosquitoes, and how neuropeptide signaling shapes their biting and reproductive cycles. You'll learn how internal physiological states guide behavior in ways that echo patterns in other animals (even us), and how this knowledge could lead to next-generation tools for vector control. The episode also tackles the ethical questions that arise in translating lab findings into public health interventions. Join us to rethink what you know about mosquitoes and learn more about neuroscience, global health, and why mosquitoes really bite.Hosted by Celine Cotran.
In this episode, Adam and Dr. Drew kick things off by discussing French President Macron's public slap and how that moment mirrors a broader cultural trend of declining impulse control. They unpack Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett's viral code-switching moment, the new Paul Reubens documentary, and revisit the media-fueled hysteria surrounding homosexuality in the 1980s.Adam shares his optimism over Trump's proposed plan to reallocate a $3 billion endowment toward trade schools, and the guys debate the difference between pushing back on bad ideas and being labeled as “obsessed.” They also explore how narcissism fuels Trump Derangement Syndrome, and why society may be on the brink of what Adam calls a full-blown "borderline era."Thank you for supporting our sponsors:BetOnlinePluto.TvSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Taboo to Truth: Unapologetic Conversations About Sexuality in Midlife
Some people say kink is just about pain. Others think it's only for people with trauma. Some have never given it a second thought—and then there are those who know exactly what their kink is… or at least think they do. But what if kink is about more than any of that?In this episode, I sit down with Sir Leezus, a sensual sadist and erotic power exchange expert, to talk about what really draws people into kink. Is it healing? Is it about control? Is it even sex at all? For some, kink happens without a single touch below the belt—but the emotional intimacy? That can run deeper than any bedroom encounter. We explore why so many people—especially in midlife—start to unlock new layers of desire after years of silence or shame. And how things like spanking, submission, and even humiliation can become powerful tools for rediscovering connection, pleasure, and self-trust.If you've ever felt like something's missing, or like your desires don't fit the standard mold… this conversation might make more sense than you expect. Let's get into it.Timestamps:In This Episode:(00:00) - Introduction(00:40) - Sir Leezus: His roles as sex educator, kink advisor, and "sensual sadist dominant."(01:13) - What is a sensual sadist dominant?(02:20) - BDSM vocab 101: Bondage, Dominance, Submission & Sadomasochism(04:00) - Can kink be healing from past trauma?(07:20) - Does BDSM always involve sex?(09:06) - Pain and pleasure: Understanding masochism(11:42) - How midlife women discover kink (and what opens them up)(15:25) - Safety, vetting, and how to trust a partner in kink(19:16) - Definitions: Dom vs. Top, Sub vs. Bottom, Switches(21:46) - What's a Stag and Vixen dynamic?(22:54) - Hotwifing vs. Cuckolding(24:50) - Penis humiliation?
