Often times, we can twist the true meaning of scripture to satisfy our needs and pet our desires. Do we really ever ask, "God what are you truly saying through this scripture"? We could save a lot of time and struggle if we "lean in" to what God is really saying through His word. A lot of people like to twist around "faith without works is dead" to satisfy their mentality of "getting it honest" and working hard to fulfill THEIR plan for their lives. Sis, where is God in that? People make it so hard, but if you seek God on what He wants for your life, the purpose, plan, strategy, and the bearing of good fruit will come along. That's just how good He is. Stop running yourself into the ground and doing things in your own power because you say God told you, "faith without works is dead". He didn't mean it like that girl. Read around that one scripture and study the context. God loves you sis. Stop making your life harder than it has to be. What if I told you that although you may be in pain or struggling through something right now, God is still going to use that to push you into your purpose? This pain will not last, but the pain you go through is going to be your testimony when God gets you to the place He wants you in. There is power in the lesson that God gives you! Are you going to make the most out of it? IG: @cueenchristian @sisletsgetintoitpodcast
Hey girl, God wants you to see Him bigger. Us as humans can often put caps on our lives with our goals and dreams. Goals are good, but what if I told you God wants to do 100 times that? What if I told you that God wants to push you past your ideal potential and into His perfect purpose? Listen to this episode to find out ways that you can see God bigger in this season! Let's be for real, when the enemy speaks lies into our heads, we believe it. We may be at a point in our life where we think we aren't good enough or that we don't have a place in this world. It does not matter how much we may believe it, that still does not make it true. God thinks the world of us and He actually told us how He felt in His word. In this episode, I'll be debunking the enemy's lies with God's TRUTH. Feel free to use these as affirmations whenever you need them. During this episode, Christian speaks on God stirring things up in us when we were young to fulfill His assignment for us as we grow closer to Him! Anchoring scripture: Jeremiah 1:5-10 Follow us on IG! @cueenchristian @sisletsgetintoitpodcast
Scriptures to meditate on: Philippians 4:6-7 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+4%3A6-7&version=ESV) ESV Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Peter+5%3A7&version=ESV) ESV Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Philippians 4:13 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+4%3A13&version=ESV) ESV I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Matthew 6:25-34 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+6%3A25-34&version=ESV) ESV “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ...
Girl, I'm sure that you know that it's definitely been a whole lotta whole lotta going on. Nevertheless, I AM BACK! I missed you all so much and I hope this episode can resonate with you like it did me. Everything bad that could ever happen is happening in my life and I found myself in a spiral of feeling sad for myself and not wanting to do anything outside of laying in the bed. How does that help? I took a couple of days, but what am I really solving by staying in the bed? Am I going to fold or fight? I hope this message resonates with you like it did me! Girl, all of the factors in the GLOW UP are important, but this is my FAVORITE one to talk about. Take a listen as Christian dives deep into "being about that action" and leaning on God throughout it.
Hey girl! Now, if you're anything like me you loveeeee a good plan. For me, it just gives me order and structure to literally everything I do. However, I have been learning to chill and let God take the lead. I can plan all day long, but it His plan that will prevail, and quite frankly, I think I would like His wayyyyy better. Come sit and chat with me about planning! Planning is essential to the glow-up process because when we comprehend something and actually write it down, that just makes what we want even MORE REAL. This is probably going to be different from anything you've ever heard because we are INCLUDING God in our planning process. I hope you know that you would never reach your full potential without God on your side. He wants to help and bless you so bad, but He must be included in your planning process. You also must listen and obey as well. Whew chile, that was already a mouthful, just sit back and listen on how to GLOW UP in our planning with God. Love all of you! SIS, WE ABOUT TO GLOW UPPP!! I hope you didn't count yourself out due to this pandemic! We still have work to do! Throughout the next couple of weeks, we're going to go through our GLOW UP! series where we talk visualization, planning, believing, and putting our beliefs and our plans into action! I hope you're ready to reclaim 2020 as our year. Don't forget to leave a rate and review! Love you all! IG: @cueenchristian & @sisletsgetintoit
This podcast was hard for me to record, but it had to be done. I pray that you all truly listen, seek, and repent to God in regards to New Age practices. I know it may seem cool that everyone else is doing it, but God is telling you to steer from it. We're living in a moment where people are claiming "faith", but still turn to sage and crystals for what they think is instant gratification. This is hard for me to say because I know a lot of you are sucked into this way of thinking, and I do not want to offend anyone by any means, but this needed to be said. I can't sit back and watch you guys dig your graves. We all have to account for our actions. I am not perfect, nor do I have all the answers, but as a vessel for God, I have to be obedient on what He tells me to post on my platform. I hope this word falls on good soil. Be blessed. If you think I'm just taking gibberish, here are some verses that speak to this: Colossians 2:8-9: Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. Romans 1:21-25: 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11: 9 This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. 10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. Deuteronomy 18:9-12: 9 “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there. 10 For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering.[a (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=deuteronomy+18%3A9-14&version=NLT#fen-NLT-5371a) ] And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, 11 or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you. Has God given you vision, but you've been watering it down, afraid of what others may think? Or did you do what He told you to do, but didn't give it 150% because you just said "God told me to just do it, so I did it?" No ma'am. God is giving us vision, and we are going after it 200%. Starting now, we are putting our all into the vision and TAKING IT SERIOUS as God guides and gives us direction! Don't be fooled. God deserves the same excellence, even MORE than you put into the other things that you do. Some people may not like it, cool. I'm glad you're not serving them. God has you in His hands and He knows exactly what He wants you do. You have lives attached to you sis. Act accordingly. I know Rona has the girls shook, but God knew this was going to happen and I promise He has something up his sleeve for you! The good news is, He is working this out for your good! I know most of us don't like being forced to stay in the house, but remember that vision He gave you awhile ago that you still haven't started on because you said you didn't have the time? Remember the conversations that should have been had with your family, but you all were never home at the same time to discuss the issue? Remember you never having order or being able to get things done because you felt like the days and hours ran together, and you said you would get to it when you can? Yeah, we're addressing ALL of that in today's episode. It's time that we address some stuff, and embrace this season of quarantine to conquer!
Whew, these past weeks have been crazy with the spread of Ms. Rona (COVID-19). Schools have been shut down, events have been cancelled, it just seems like this world is shutting down. It can for sure be overwhelming. I know it is for me. With this situation, I found myself not trusting God. This is not a first time occurrence for me, as my faith usually wavers when things get tough, just being honest. It's hard out here and I have to constantly remind myself of these few things: Everything happens for a reason. I keep this in the back of my mind whenever things seem to change out the woodworks. Stay positive. It’s easy to let our minds trap us into thinking everything around us is going out sad. Don’t be fooled. In Phillipians 4:8, it says So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God,[a (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+4%3A8&version=TPT#fen-TPT-10748a) ] praising him always. Yes, no fear, but still be safe and practical out here. Be generous. Don’t let this thing bring out the ugly in you. Be giving. Don’t be selfish. I love y'all forreal. Be safe out here and trust God, while practicing safe habits. Feel free to hit me up! IG: cueenchristian Website: cueenchristian.com
Often times fear can have us bound from doing all the things God called us to do. Not anymore sis. Not anymore. We're smacking fear away, and living the faithful life! 1st Tip: Be obedient anyway. God would not call you to it if He wasn't planning on bringing you through it. Scriptures referenced: Mark 4:26-29 NLT; Colossians 3:23 TPT 2nd Tip: The world needs you. 3rd Tip: Look fear in the face and tell it to shut up.
