A podcast review focused on SNL and its most recent episodes. Tune in weekly for our thoughts on the Sketches, what worked, what didn't, and the who's who of SNL. Thanks to Wilmer Martinez on Unsplash for the thumbnail photo and NBC for not suing us yet over the thumbnail design.
Lost a lot of steam on these show notes. You don't get any this time. Its a good ep. listen to it. It's the last ep of the season. Unless its not. idk.
Part 2 of our 3 part finale. Boy the episodes just keep getting better don't they?! Can't wait to see the exciting conclusion eh?
The first part of our totally planned 3 part finale! You can't prove anything! I don't remember but I think this epsode was probably pretty good! Listen to it!
A great night with some great bits and a great host. Not much more to ask for over here.
HOO BOY. What a stinker. Some of the worst SNL has to offer in a night that ranges from incoherent to merely unfunny. But there is a silver lining in the return of the culture watch segment of update.
A mid ep w/ some fun in it and an excellent monologue. I had to wake up early.
Jess and Jamal join us for an amazing episode where we just rip Mikey Day and his bad show a new one. See Jess and Jamal on their podacst All Systems Argo wherever podcasts are sold.
An excellent ep with an excellent performance by Zoë Kravitz. A whole heck of a lot to love.
Good ep, Bad order. Good performance. Big smiles.
John Mulaney does pretty good in a pretty good ep. LCD system needs to fire its frontman.
We watch a bunch of Bowen sketches and talk about how much we like Bowen and boy do we like Bowen. We also have a guest. They're ok. In more important news I did the most audio editing I've ever done for this show by putting all the parts together and lowering the volume on a part that's like super loud. Anyway that's it. Oh yeah, check out Jamie's podcast Robots Into Guys here or wherever podcasts are sold. https://podcastaddict.com/podcast/robots-into-guys/2847577
Willdred Defilliam makes a few silly jokes in a good ep overall. Katy perry dances with mushrooms and fights guitarists. Exciting!
A pretty good night with an excellent weekend update. Connor reports live from inside a shoebox.
Lots of gasleak sketches and standout performances this week. Billy's still mad about the horse sketch.
With SNL on a break, we take some time to watch Kyle Moony's Saturday Morning All Star Hits. We talk about the stuff that made it exciting and the places where it unfortunately really fell down.
30 Rock shuts down because of the corvid but the show must go on! This weird half-clipshow-half-new-stuff-all-prerecord-show show has a lot of hits.
Billy and Billie don't get along. The ep was fine and this one is too.
Some of the highest highs and lowest lows await you in a podcast miraculously posted only one week late I think!
We sketched up and now we need to sketch up or el'se you'll sketch us up. God I hope no one reads this crap. Anyway, Mac's brother is hosting and he does a pretty good job.
A week late but, to be honest. Didn't know we actually HAD Listeners. anyway heres our Jonathan Majors one.
