What a gutting way to open the episode, showing Aniya on the ground sobbing over KC, Melanie by her side, while the Casa Amor ladies laugh and scoff at Aniya’s emotional reaction. Thankfully, and surprisingly, throughout the episode we see the Villa girls and the Casa Amor girls actually put aside their differences and apologize for bad behavior. But things got sticky literally and figuratively during the cake challenge, with Megan Thee Stallion hosting the game looking fierce, and speaking truth to the boys! It all ends with the surprise we saw coming, Carl and Amora are back, and ready to stir up everything! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today, we look at the drivers of the stronger US dollar as it pulls to new highs for the year and what may be holding back USDJPY from participating in the greenback rally as those forty-year highs from 2024 approach. Elsewhere, yesterday's US equity market session was so far mostly only a one-off meltdown in high momentum stocks, with the median stock positive on the day. Massive interest and potential implications in how the market reacts to Micron earnings after the US equity market close today. This and more on today's pod, which is hosted by Saxo Global Head of Macro Strategy John J. Hardy. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. Behind Every Emergency Call Is Someone Carrying the Weight of Another Person's Worst Day. When most people think of first responders, they picture police officers racing toward danger, firefighters battling flames, or paramedics fighting to save lives. The episode is available to listen to Free. The Podcast is available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartradio and most major podcast platforms. #LawEnforcementTalk #Free #Podcast #Radio But there is another group of heroes who experience unimaginable tragedy every day without ever leaving their chairs. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast social media like their Facebook , Instagram , LinkedIn , Medium and other social media platforms. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too. Their battlefield isn't on the streets. Supporting articles about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium , Blogspot and Linkedin. It's Trauma on The Phone. Every scream... Every desperate plea... Every child crying... Every gunshot... Every final breath... It all comes through a headset. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. On the latest episode of the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, host John Jay Wiley welcomes Alex LeFever, a veteran 911 dispatcher who shares what many dispatchers have silently carried for years. The episode is available across major platforms including their website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, with highlights shared across their Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn profiles. His story reminds listeners that emotional scars don't require physical danger. Sometimes the deepest wounds are heard, not seen. The Calls That Never Leave Alex worked as a 911 dispatcher in both Arkansas and Pennsylvania. Like many emergency telecommunicators, thousands of calls blended together over time. But a few never disappeared. One involved a three-week-old baby. Another involved a woman trapped in a violent domestic abuse situation, who shot her attacker. Alex listened helplessly as the assault unfolded over the phone. Those voices never truly left him. "There are calls you never forget," Alex explains. "They stay with you long after your shift ends." Unlike police officers or firefighters who eventually arrive at a scene and begin resolving the crisis, dispatchers often experience something mental health experts call truncated trauma. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. Available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and most major Podcast networks. They hear the terror. They imagine the scene. Then the phone disconnects. Most never learn how the story ended. Their minds are left to fill in the blanks. 911 Dispatchers Are Often the First First Responders Whether dispatchers are officially recognized as first responders depends largely on where they work. Many states, including California, Washington, and Delaware, have passed laws officially recognizing emergency dispatchers as first responders. Federal classifications have historically categorized them as administrative employees rather than protective service professionals. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. The Podcast is available for free on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, also on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartradio and most major podcast platforms. That distinction has sparked ongoing bipartisan efforts in Congress to update federal classifications through legislation such as the 9-1-1 SAVES Act and the Enhancing First Response Act. Regardless of job titles, dispatchers perform life-saving work every day. They calm panicked callers. Guide CPR. Provide emergency childbirth instructions. Coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses. Gather critical intelligence. Save lives. Long before emergency vehicles arrive, dispatchers are already working to keep victims alive. "They're often the first voice people hear during the worst moment of their lives." Trauma on The Phone Is Real Mental health professionals increasingly recognize that dispatchers experience extraordinarily high rates of Secondary Traumatic Stress (STS) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast continues bringing listeners real conversations from the front lines of crime, policing, trauma, survival, and healing. Unlike field responders, dispatchers experience trauma through sound alone. The human brain reacts as if it is physically present. Adrenaline surges. Heart rate increases. Stress hormones flood the body. Yet dispatchers must remain calm. Professional. Focused. They cannot panic. They cannot cry. They simply answer the next call. Hour after hour. Day after day. Over time, that emotional weight accumulates. Symptoms may include: • Reliving disturbing calls • Hearing callers' voices long after work • Difficulty concentrating • Hyper-vigilance • Emotional numbness • Burnout • Insomnia • High blood pressure • Chronic stress Many dispatchers suffer silently because few people understand what their job truly involves. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. The complete interview is available as a Free Podcast on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, LinkedIn, and major podcast platforms. Healing Doesn't Always Come Easy For Alex, recovery became intentional. He found one powerful outlet inside the gym. Weight training became more than exercise. It became therapy. "Training should enhance your life, not consume it," Alex says. His fitness journey actually began at just ten years old. By age seventeen, he had already set four International Powerlifting Association world records in the 198-pound class, including a remarkable 490-pound deadlift that stood for years. Today his philosophy is much different. Rather than chasing perfection, Alex helps people create sustainable health around real life. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. Listeners can hear the complete interview on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and other major Podcast, Radio, News, and Media platforms. "Life still needs to happen," he says. "Cake at birthday parties. Family dinners. Saturday morning French toast." Instead of unrealistic fitness expectations, Alex teaches balance. He specializes in helping first responders, shift workers, and everyday people overcome obstacles traditional fitness programs often ignore. Irregular schedules. Old injuries. Chronic stress. Sleep disruption. Mental fatigue. His coaching adapts to reality instead of demanding perfection. Supporting the People Behind the Headset Mental health experts continue emphasizing that dispatchers need the same support systems increasingly available to police officers, firefighters, and paramedics. The podcast is available on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, LinkedIn, and other major podcast platforms. Peer support. Critical incident debriefings. Professional counseling. Trauma education. Preventative mental health training. Organizations dedicated to dispatcher wellness continue advocating for stronger mental health resources while many states are expanding PTSD workers' compensation protections for emergency telecommunicators. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. Recognizing dispatcher trauma isn't simply about changing job titles. It's about acknowledging invisible injuries before they become life-changing ones. A Story Every First Responder Should Hear Alex LeFever's conversation offers an honest look inside one of public safety's least understood professions. Listen to the full story on the Free Podcast, available on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast Website, on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Apple, Spotify, and more. His story is about resilience. Trauma. Recovery. Fitness. Mental health. And recognizing that heroes aren't always the ones wearing body armor. Sometimes they're wearing a headset. Sometimes they're the calm voice who answers when someone dials three simple numbers. Listen to the Full Conversation Hear Alex LeFever's remarkable story on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, available on their website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartradio and most major Podcast platforms. 911 Dispatchers Suffer Too: Trauma on the Phone. This Is the Place...to hear about our thoughts on Two Strangers! Alas this season has been a bit of a mess for us, so this will also be the season finale of our very short season, though keep an eye on our socials for other content!--Thanks to Simone who posted this very informative and in-depth guide to the show that helped jog our memory!Funnily enough, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also has a song called What'll It Be that serves a very similar purpose to Robin's song in this show. For whatever reason, the song What Did You Say? was left off of the Broadway cast album, so the snippet you hear in this episode comes from the London cast album--Music featured in this episode:Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) [Original Broadway Cast Recording]Apple Music / Spotify / Amazon Music—Follow us on Twitter and Instagram @BottomlessBway, our blog at https://bottomlessbway.home.blog, or email us at bottomlessbway@gmail.com! Here's part three of a fictional story I wrote called The Two Doors and the Merciful Judge. It's an allegory that serves as a companion to Kinda Judgy: Finding Mercy for Myself and Others in Six Stories of the Bible—my new book releasing with Moody Publishers!! (Order your copy here.)Through the imaginative setting of the Grand Courtroom of the World, revisit the same six Bible stories featured in the book—Noah, Rahab, Jonah, the sinful woman, the blind man, and the criminal on the cross—and encounter the same unchanging Judge of All.In Part 3, titled, "The Massive Baptism and the Tipped Cake, you're entering the Grand Courtroom as a massive baptism has just taken place. Everyone is wearing black t-shirts with a "repent and believe" emblem on the back. What's interesting, though, is that the handsome pastor who comes storming in isn't pleased about this. My hope is that this allegory will help you see more clearly—and love more deeply—the Judge who holds the Final Gavel.Order Kinda JudgyReplay the Girls' Night Celebration! How Judgy Are You? In this episode, Tina sits down with Curtis Gillespie Sayers to challenge some of the most common assumptions about belly fat and explain why the issue is often far deeper than food and fitness. He shares how gut health, liver function, hormones, inflammation, stress, and nervous system regulation all influence where and why the body stores fat. He also discusses why so many women get trapped in cycles of restriction and over-exercising, and what needs to happen before the body feels safe enough to let go of excess weight. Here's what you'll learn: - Why the thing most women do first to lose belly fat is the exact reason it's not working - What belly fat after 40 is actually a symptom of and why treating it like a food and exercise problem keeps you stuck - The surprising connection between your liver, gut, and hormones and why belly fat won't budge no matter what you eat - What your bloating, puffiness, and stubborn belly fat are actually trying to tell you - The one thing you have to fix before supplements, exercise, or diet will ever work for belly fat - Why women who are scared to track their food are often the ones who need it most and what to do instead - Why eating carbs at night might actually be the strategy that finally moves the needle for you - The three supplements worth taking for belly fat and why the order you take them in actually matters - Why women who do everything right still can't lose belly fat and the variable nobody talks about Subscribe: https://carrotsncake.substack.com Join Fit + Fueled: https://carrots-n-cake.mykajabi.com/fit+fueled Why GLPs Fail Recording: https://carrotsncake.kit.com/fpm Connect with Tina Haupert: https://carrotsncake.com/ Facebook: Carrots 'N' Cake https://www.facebook.com/carrotsncake Instagram: @carrotsncake https://www.instagram.com/carrotsncake YouTube: Tina Haupert https://www.youtube.com/user/carrotsncake About Tina Haupert: Tina Haupert is the owner of Carrots ‘N' Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I was diagnosed with an extremely severe case of sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a pre-diabetic status. At this time, I was also struggling with substance abuse, which would obviously contribute to my health complications, but most were from birth. After receiving the news from running tests, the doctors had informed me that I was lucky to be alive. My psychological health was greatly impacted by my physiological health, evoking feelings of anger, and negativity which caused me to constantly argue with people around me. This affected several of my relationships and was creating a miserable life. This lead me to seek out the help of a bodybuilding coach (not knowing a damn thing about health at the time). The main focus was “getting shredded,” not understanding how much internal health affects one's physique. Interestingly enough, shedding the weight had really helped with my sleep apnea, but still, quite a few health complications were present. At this time hunger was ignited in me to learn more. I became determined to solve what was going on in my body.

What happens when a pastor buys his wife a cake truck and starts hanging out at farmers markets? In this episode, Ralph sits down with pastor, author, and longtime friend Antoine Lassiter to talk about the surprising ministry opportunities that emerge when Christians intentionally step outside their church circles and into everyday life.Antoine shares the story behind his wife's cake business, a farmers market friendship with a self-described anti-Christian, and the year-long relationship that uncovered deep wounds from a painful religious upbringing. Along the way, he reflects on why listening often opens doors that arguments never will. The conversation also turns inward as Antoine discusses his journey as an introvert in ministry, how hiding in his office before church was hurting his leadership, and the changes that helped him become more present and approachable. From lingering after services to hosting meals and creating spaces for connection, Antoine explains why belonging is often the bridge to believing.Whether you're a pastor, church planter, or simply someone who wants to live more missionally, this episode offers practical wisdom on building genuine relationships, overcoming personal barriers, and finding gospel opportunities in ordinary places. In this episode:A powerful story of friendship with a skepticHow past wounds shape people's perceptions of ChristianityThe hidden struggles of introverted pastorsCreating a church culture where people linger and connectRecovering your missional edge outside church circlesSometimes the best ministry doesn't start with a sermon, it starts with a conversation over cake.
This week: The Hunter Biden Shitposting Era: We spend the bulk of this episode unpacking the utter madness on Twitter. Hunter Biden has officially taken over the platform with a legendary, unfiltered shitposting era that has everyone completely obsessed. We break down how it started with his sobriety anniversary and escalated into epic, self-deprecating clapbacks about his past, roasting political commentators, and teasing a hilarious 2028 presidential campaign slogan. Both sides of the aisle are secretly loving the comedy. Gen Z is Getting Holy: In an unexpected cultural shift, religion is trending online, particularly among young men and boys. We discuss the rise of faith aesthetics and whether this spiritual revival is a lasting community trend or just a passing digital vibe. And this includes Period Prayer Husband: A viral video of a husband praying over his wife during her menstrual cycle has the internet fiercely divided. Is it ultimate husband goals and pure empathy, or is it just majorly cringe? The Viral Dot Cake Craze: Everyone is suddenly obsessed with the dot cake trend taking over social media. These aesthetic cake cups, inspired by New York City's famous Dotcakes, are covered in frosting and packed with nonpareil sprinkles. Some critics say it is just basic cake, but we are completely here for the nostalgia and satisfying texture. THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY. Literally. We discuss. And of course, Keke Palmer Appreciation Hour: We gush over our collective love for Keke Palmer and why she remains the internet's undisputed favorite icon. And a HOT ONE (pun intended). In this episode of Seeing Them Live, Charles sits down with Ben Daughtry and Jonathan Palmer of Love Jones — the Louisville-born, LA-based band that has been crafting their unique blend of lounge, soul, pop, and sharp-witted storytelling for over three decades. The conversation kicks off with a shared love of live music, as both Ben and Jonathan trace their concert-going roots back to the same unlikely starting point: Van Halen. Ben recalls sneaking into a show at 14, way too young to be there, watching a then-unknown Van Halen open for Black Sabbath and feeling like "a bomb going off." Jonathan recounts his own Van Halen baptism at Freedom Hall in Louisville on the Women and Children First Invasion Tour — complete with $7.50 festival seating and his mother taking notes in the stands. From there, the episode becomes a wide-ranging tour through decades of live music obsession. The guys swap stories about Ted Nugent crowd surges, jumping on stage with GWAR in New Orleans, playing congas with Tool at an early Lollapalooza, and watching Rage Against the Machine move 60,000 people. Jonathan shares privileged industry moments — seeing The Rolling Stones at a 600-capacity room in New York alongside Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Questlove, and catching Nine-Inch Nails at The Troubadour when they felt "too big for the building." The conversation is fueled by genuine enthusiasm, with each story triggering another in a kind of joyful avalanche of rock and roll memory. The second half of the episode turns to the band's own story — from their residency at Largo on Fairfax, where David Bowie once sat quietly in a booth and Tool's crew became regulars, to their unexpected appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album Here's to the Losers. Charles and the guys dig into the Cocktail Nation moment of the '90s, the making of their new album The Greatest Show on Earth — written during COVID jam sessions in a Louisville warehouse with crickets chirping and trains passing — and the cinematic, Gil Evans-influenced sound that ties its six expansive tracks together. The episode closes with the band expressing hope to get back on the road, a shout-out to their partnership with Whiskey Thief Distillery, and a tease of possible activity around the 30th anniversary of the film Swingers, on whose soundtrack Love Jones famously appeared. BANDS: Adele, B-52s, Beastie Boys, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Black Sabbath, Chicago, Combustible Edison, Devo, Earth Wind & Fire, Fishbone, Foo Fighters, GWAR, James Brown, Led Zeppelin, Love Jones, Metallica, Metric, Molly Hatchet, Morphine, Nine Inch Nails, Oasis, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones, Sea and Cake, Steely Dan, Supertramp, Ted Nugent, The Cars, The Cocktails, Tool, Tortoise, Van Halen, ZZ Top. If you've ever convinced yourself you were dying only to discover you just forgot your morning coffee, congratulations—you and Moon have something in common. This episode begins with Moon's dramatic weekend health crisis, which included headaches, body aches, sweating, canceled plans, and a genuine belief that he had caught the flu. After missing parties, skipping events, and suffering through a soccer match, the shocking diagnosis arrived: accidental caffeine withdrawal. One decaf mistake later, Moon was spiraling. Two rose lattes later, he was ready to conquer the world, write albums, and possibly become mayor of Paris.Meanwhile, the crew breaks down one of the most unexpected party surprises in recent memory when former Blues star Jamie Rivers decides the perfect pool-opening gift for his fiancée Ashley is... live monkeys. Not monkey decorations. Not monkey-themed cupcakes. Actual monkeys. Naturally, the monkeys arrive during a crowded backyard party packed with guests, children, music, and enough chaos to make everyone question several life choices. The result is equal parts adorable, confusing, and mildly terrifying. The conversation somehow escalates into monkey behavior analysis, party planning mistakes, surprise animal logistics, and the realization that getting bitten by a monkey in a bikini was probably not on anyone's weekend bingo card. The gang also recaps King Scott's massive baby shower, complete with mountains of gifts, bacon, desserts, and the looming anticipation of the show's upcoming gender reveal. There are discussions about weird party foods, mysterious hot-dog cake creations, and why some recipes should maybe stay inside family cookbooks. As if that wasn't enough, Rafe conducts what can only be described as investigative journalism by revisiting a local Hooters. What follows is an unexpectedly deep exploration of restaurant culture, paper plates, silent dining rooms, forgotten glory days, and whether a restaurant can accidentally become an existential experience. It's part food review, part sociology experiment, and part cry for help. The crew also tackles one of life's toughest questions: what's the saddest food to eat alone? Cake? Ice cream? A blooming onion? The answers get surprisingly personal as stories of lonely desserts, spaghetti mishaps, old promotional cakes, and questionable life decisions come flooding out. From caffeine dependency and monkey business to restaurant nostalgia and emotional food debates, this episode delivers exactly the kind of beautiful nonsense that makes this daily comedy show what it is. If you're looking for a daily comedy show that can seamlessly connect French coffee, poolside monkeys, hot-dog cake, and Hooters trivia without ever making sense, you've found your people.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

If you're looking for a daily comedy show that can seamlessly connect French coffee, poolside monkeys, hot-dog cake, and Hooters trivia without ever making sense, you've found your people. One minute you're discussing legendary comedians. The next minute you're getting shot with an Airsoft gun to reveal a baby's gender. Just another completely normal day on The Rizzuto Show.Episode 101 delivers exactly the kind of chaos you'd expect from your favorite daily comedy show. King Scott finally reveals whether he's having a boy or a girl, but because this is The Rizzuto Show, the reveal involves questionable planning, poor weapon handling, and two unsuspecting coworkers standing against a wall hoping they don't get blasted. Radio professionalism remains undefeated. Before the big reveal, the gang gears up for Night of the Rizzlies at the Gateway Grizzlies game, debates who can throw the fastest first pitch without embarrassing themselves, and questions whether Moon's partially destroyed knee can survive an outfield race. The confidence level is high. The odds of injury are somehow even higher. Then things get surprisingly heated when the crew tackles one of the biggest comedy questions imaginable: Who is the greatest stand-up comedian turned actor of all time? Robin Williams? Eddie Murphy? Jim Carrey? Steve Martin? Adam Sandler? Billy Crystal? The debate spirals into movie history, personal rankings, forgotten classics, and enough opinions to start at least three internet arguments. In Crap On Celebrities, Lern brings everything from Beastie Boys news and Marilyn Manson legal updates to TV cancellations, celebrity health stories, Hulk Hogan documentary discussion, and one of the strangest medical conditions anyone has ever heard of. Apparently some people sneeze when they're too full. The show spends an alarming amount of time exploring that concept. The gang also revisits cult classics like The Cable Guy, argues over the true Mount Rushmore of 1970s rock bands, and somehow turns a discussion about diarrhea into a surprisingly detailed scientific investigation. Nobody asked for that. Yet here we are.And because becoming a father isn't stressful enough, King Scott sticks around for "Feed Baby Scott," where listeners try to identify mystery baby foods while Scott gets spoon-fed questionable purees. Future fatherhood preparation? Not exactly. Entertaining radio? Absolutely.Today's episode of The Rizzuto Show answers a question absolutely nobody asked: can King Scott identify baby food flavors while blindfolded and trapped in audio isolation?Armed with an airplane spoon, questionable parenting products, and the confidence of a man who claimed he'd "never gotten this wrong before," Scott stepped into one of the weirdest challenges we've ever put on the show. What followed was a rollercoaster of carrots, sweet peas, green beans, applesauce, chicken broth, and enough pureed mystery meat to make everyone in the room reconsider modern food science.Things start innocent enough when Scott confidently nails carrot. That's where the success story ends. Soon he's identifying sweet peas as asparagus, green beans as apricot, and repeatedly convincing himself that every suspicious meat product on earth somehow tastes like tuna. Meanwhile, Moon embraces his new role as Baby Food Sommelier, Rafe nearly loses his lunch from the smell of ham puree, and Lern spends most of the challenge laughing at Scott looking like he's awaiting sentencing in the electric chair.Along the way, the gang talks about the upcoming Operation Food Search canned food drive, broadcasting outside the station for the first time in years, and why the studio might actually be the sixth member of the show. Then it's right back to watching a grown man try to process flavors designed for people who can't legally walk yet.The real star of the show might be the baby food itself. The ham and gravy drew immediate comparisons to cat food. The chicken and broth somehow smelled worse. Multiple show members gagged. One nearly threw up. Scott requested second bites of several flavors despite clear evidence that his taste buds had already filed formal complaints. If you've ever wondered what happens when confidence collides head-on with pureed meat products, this episode delivers. It's a masterclass in bad guesses, terrible smells, and the kind of chaos that only happens when a daily radio show decides to turn one of its hosts into a giant toddler for entertainment purposes. This is exactly the kind of funny podcast nonsense that keeps us employed. It's a funny podcast filled with bad decisions, questionable food choices, and a shocking amount of discussion about tuna that wasn't actually tuna. If you love a funny podcast featuring hilarious fails, weird food challenges, sarcastic humor, and friends roasting each other for nearly half an hour, welcome home.Featuring:King Scott vs. baby foodThe ham puree incidentThe Great Tuna ConfusionMoon's elite airplane-spoon techniqueRafe's battle with nauseaMultiple audience predictionsOne very concerned future fatherEnough chicken broth to haunt a studio foreverThe Rizzuto Show: proving once again that adulthood is mostly just childhood with bills.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Belleville's Skyview Drive-In is now for saleBear sightings prompt warnings in Franklin County'Pure Panic': Glacier Grizzly Attack Survivor Shares the Story of the Rescue That Saved HimSt. Louis woman stabs man in head with railroad spike after fight over lottery ticketSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Today's guest is Anna Stockwell, a recipe developer, food stylist, writer, culinary consultant, and video host. Anna has been a senior food editor at Epicurious and Bon Appétit, and is the author of two cookbooks, “For the Table” and her newest, “The Butter Book.” Anna joins host Jessie Sheehan to talk about growing up in a food-loving family, baking birthday cakes with her mom, and how she found her way into the kitchen professionally. She also does a little deep dive into butter—its history, why she loves cultured butter, when the brand really matters in a recipe, and more. Anna also walks Jessie through her Birthday Butter Cake recipe from “The Butter Book.” She explains why she loves the reverse creaming method, why she coats her cake pans with butter and sugar (instead of flour), and how boiling water helps create a glossy chocolate American buttercream. Today's guest is Tamara Keefe, founder and CEO of Clementine's Ice Cream, the St. Louis–based creamery known for its inventive flavors, ice cream parlors, and devoted following. Tamara started Clementine's after walking away from a successful corporate career, and has since grown the company from one tiny neighborhood ice cream parlor into a nationally recognized brand. Tamara joins host Kerry Diamond to talk about the childhood ice cream tradition that changed her life, why she decided to bet on herself, and how she built Clementine's from the ground up—first by selling to restaurants, delivering pints around St. Louis, and eventually opening her first parlor. She shares what makes Clementine's special, from its “organoleptic” parlor experience to its kosher-certified signature line, boozy ice creams, and dairy-free offerings. They also dive into Clementine's famous Gooey Butter Cake ice cream, Tamara's Route 66–inspired summer flavors, and why vanilla is the true test of a great ice cream maker. Plus, Tamara talks about Cone Con, her upcoming wedding, and why ice cream might just be the happiest food there is. Thank you to Fisher & Paykel & Nonino for supporting our show.
