We NEVER get tired of finding new ways to make potatoes exciting and delicious.REAL QUICK:To make Yumi's ALL KILLER, NO FILLER POTATO CRISPPre-heat the oven to 200C.Have some finely chopped rosemary needles ready to go and have 1/4 cup of olive oil in a small pot, not heated yet.Slice 4-5 decent-sized spuds into 2mm discs. Dump the lot into a big pot of salted, boiling water. Once the water returns to the boil (this will take a couple of minutes) allow the spuds to boil for 2-3 minutes then drain really well.(I USE RUBBER GLOVES to handle the still-hot potatoes here -)Arrange the potatoes in layered rows to achieve maximum surface area for every piece. This will take a few minutes. Put the oil on to heat. You want it to get Very Hot but not smoking.Scatter the finely chopped rosemary over the potatoes.Pour the hot oil evenly over the potatoes.Place in the oven and set a timer for 45 minutes but keep an eye on them!Serve hot. SO GOOD.Jamie Oliver's BALSAMIC POTATOES RECIPE can be found here. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

«Wir haben wirklich unser Bestes gegeben», sagt My Morning Jacket-Keyboarder Bo Koster im Sounds!-Interview über das zehnte Album seiner Southern-Rock-inspirierten Kapelle. Und er hat verdammt recht. «Is» ist das beste My Morning Jacket-Album seit Jahren. +++ PLAYLIST +++ · 22:56 – ANWAY von FROWN LINE · 22:52 – PECKHAM RYE von MONTE MAI · 22:48 – YOU GOT TIME AND I GOT MONEY von SMERZ · 22:43 – PURE LOVE von DJ KOZE FEAT. Clifford argues for the power of Amazon's massive organic reach and built-in marketing services, while Rob makes the case for the control and customer data you retain with a DTC site. Key Insights: Amazon's Organic Power: Capitalize on Amazon's daily organic traffic and ranking potential by funneling more of your sales through their platform. Customer Data Ownership: Rob emphasizes the long-term value of owning customer data for remarketing and personalization efforts. Rockshow episode 169 Jerry Lee Lewis The show was scheduled for December but because of the recent death of Jerry Lee Lewis we moved it up the schedule. So watch and celebrate the the life of Jerry Lee Lewis and thank you for subscribing. Jerry Lee Lewis (September 29, 1935 – October 28, 2022) was an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Nicknamed "the Killer", he was described as "rock and roll's first great wild man and one of the most influential pianists of the 20th century". A pioneer of rock and roll and rockabilly music, Lewis made his first recordings in 1952 at Cosimo Matassa's J&M Studio in New Orleans, Louisiana, and early recordings in 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. "Crazy Arms" sold 300,000 copies in the South, and his 1957 hit "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" shot Lewis to fame worldwide. He followed this with the major hits "Great Balls of Fire", "Breathless", and "High School Confidential". His rock and roll career faltered in the wake of his marriage to Myra Gale Brown, his 13-year-old cousin once removed. Lewis had a dozen gold records in rock and country. He won four Grammy awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and two Grammy Hall of Fame Awards.Lewis was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and his pioneering contribution to the genre was recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He was also a member of the inaugural class inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022. In 1989, his life was chronicled in the movie Great Balls of Fire, starring Dennis Quaid. In 2003, Rolling Stone listed his box set All Killer, No Filler: The Anthology at number 242 on their list of "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". In 2004, they ranked him No. 24 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Lewis was the last surviving member of Sun Records' Million Dollar Quartet and the album Class of '55, which also included Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and Elvis Presley. Music critic Robert Christgau said of Lewis: "His drive, his timing, his offhand vocal power, his unmistakable boogie-plus piano, and his absolute confidence in the face of the void make Jerry Lee the quintessential rock and roller." https://jerryleelewis.com/ https://m.facebook.com/JerryLeeLewis/ https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/jerry-lee-lewis-dead-obituary-1234616945/amp/ https://open.spotify.com/artist/2zyz0VJqrDXeFDIyrfVXSo https://www.instagram.com/jerryleelewisthekiller/?hl=en https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4bB5xL577r4&autoplay=1 https://twitter.com/jerryleelewis?lang=en @Jerryleelewis @Greatballsoffire @Thekiller @breathless @sunrecord @pianoplayer @rockabilly #Jerryleelewis #greatballsoffire #rockabilly #rocknroll #piano #sunrecord Please follow us on Youtube,Facebook,Instagram,Twitter,Patreon and at www.gettinglumpedup.com https://linktr.ee/RobRossi Get your T-shirt at https://www.prowrestlingtees.com/gettinglumpedup And https://www.bonfire.com/store/getting-lumped-up/ https://app.hashtag.expert/?fpr=roberto-rossi80 https://dc2bfnt-peyeewd4slt50d2x1b.hop.clickbank.net Subscribe to the channel and hit the like button This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rob-rossi/support https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/getting-lumped-up-with-rob-rossi/id1448899708 https://open.spotify.com/show/00ZWLZaYqQlJji1QSoEz7a https://www.patreon.com/Gettinglumpedup --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rob-rossi/support

All Killer, No Filler Review by Jason Birchmeier It would be a mistake to view Sum 41 as just another second-rate band cashing in on the early-'00s punk-pop boom, even if it did recruit Jerry Finn to produce All Killer No Filler. Just as Finn had done for both blink-182 and Green Day, he charges Sum 41's punk-pop with a razor-sharp edge, the sort of dynamic in-your-face sound that helps this music cross over to MTV and radio so well. Besides the notable production, a lot of credit should go to the band as well. Its songwriting is obviously more diverse here than it was a year earlier on its debut album, Half Hour of Power; for example, the group's rap and '80s metal influences rise to the surface more frequently here than on that first album and instill a fun sense of camp. "Fatlip" is perhaps the best example of how Sum 41 has made an effort to diversify the music with more than just power chords and melodic punk vocals. Judging from this album, Sum 41 still isn't quite on the same level as alt-rock peers such as Weezer or Green Day, but the band is obviously headed in the right direction. In the meantime, it's difficult not to enjoy this album for what it is, even if it's a bit derivative. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/comics-in-motion-podcast/message

Ryan Paisey has been in and around markets for almost 2 decades. He has been a market-maker, a day trader, a scalper and a prop trader (almost an interesting new line for Steve Miller Band's 'The Joker'). These days he devotes his energy to providing a trader news service ‘PriapusIQ’, which he describes as All Killer, No Filler, News & Commentary on all Things Markets & Geopolitics. His commentary, often accompanied by some acerbic market wit (yes he really is 'the joker'), provides a more slanted and edgy perspective on news and analysis which differentiates it from the standard news and information offerings traders receive. In this excellent chat with us, Ryan shares some deep thoughts and perspective about a host of aspects of trading from his many year’s experiences. He feels passionate about the learning journey for traders, and how so many people enter trading without the sort of support and guidance he had from experienced traders who were around him in the physical settings of trading room environments. As you will hear in this vibrant chat, Ryan doesn’t hold back on his views. Ryan is driven by a desire to provide traders with an edge by having the sort of slant on news and information which they fail to get from standard news services. With barriers to entry so low, many traders come into trading unprepared, or with unrealistic expectations and then have to fend for themselves. By contrast, when Ryan started, he had the benefit of learning in a trading room environment which provided the sort of incubation which many modern traders miss out.  His news service aims to help address the absence of the sort of high valuable spin on news, in relation to markets, that use to be available to traders working in trading room environments. You can learn more about PriapusIQ at https://www.priapusiq.com/You can follow Ryan on Twitter at @PriapusIQ

While completing his undergraduate studies at Berklee College of Music, Sai became a very active member of the Boston music scene - where he currently resides. In this chat, we cover his experience as a person of color in the DIY scene and in music spaces that are traditionally populated by white cishet dudes. We discuss the importance of representation and diversity in music, as well as the realities of touring and signing to record labels. EPISODE NOTES: - Sai just finished a six-week tour with his rock band, Animal Flag, of which was recently featured on Audiotree. - The two earliest albums to influence Sai were "Kid A," from Radiohead and the self-titled Rage Against the Machine album.  - Representation is important because if it weren't for "All Killer no Filler," by Sum 41 and Sai recognizing Dave Baksh of Sum 41 as a fellow Indian, we may not have the Sai we know now. - If you haven't check out the diversity of sounds that Topshelf Records has to offer, you really need to get on that now! - Animal Flag recently did a number of gigs alongside the magnanimously talented performer, Chad Matheny, otherwise known as, Emperor X. His new album, "Oversleepers International," is an eccentric collection of songs - out now on Tiny Engines. - You can see People Like You and meet up with Sai while on their east coast tour that starts this weekend! For tour dates, visit http://www.topshelfrecords.com/roster/people-like-you. - Make sure to read this piece on the othering of people by Edward Said. - We quickly plug two great Boston-area organizations, BARCC (Boston Area Rape Crisis Center), as well as the Democracy Center. Visit their sites for more information! - Sai and I are both currently enjoying the new Big Thief album, "Capacity," so don't say we didn't warn you! - Check out the "Short History of Nearly Everything," by Bill Bryson. - Sai also suggests checking out the book from "A Breath of Fresh Air," by Amulya Malladi. MUSIC NOTES: - All of the music on this week's podcast is provided by People Like You - in which Sai plays the bass guitar. The band was recently signed to Topshelf Records, which will be releasing their new LP, "Verse," on July 28th. It is chock-full of tasty jazzy emo tunes. - The intro, outro, and ad breaks feature parts of the song, "Variations on an Aria." - Today's music break song is, "Thumbnail," which was recently premiered by the band. - You can PREORDER the new People Like You album on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital by visiting http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/593720-people-like-you-verse!  - As referenced in the podcast, a portion of the proceeds from the new People Like You album's pre-order sales will be divided equally and go directly to The Trevor Project, The NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Planned Parenthood. ADVERTISING NOTE: - This week we were sponsored by our friends in Safer Scenes, who are currently on the road with War on Women during the Vans Warped Tour. Safer Scenes is dedicated to educating younger crowds at festivals and in typical concert venues on harmful and problematic issues that plague scenes - explicitly sexual assault, sexual violence, bullying, misogyny. - You can donate to support the Safer Scenes folks by visiting their GoFundMe page! And if you donate at least $75, I will make you a piece of art - since my nonprofit, The Art of Survival, is sponsoring War on Women and Safer Scenes during their Warped Tour travels.
