Somebody in Quincy, Illinois just became insanely rich, somebody else allegedly treated a Morgan Wallen concert like his own personal bathroom, and somehow that's only the beginning of today's Rizzuto Show. The crew kicks things off with the massive Powerball jackpot and the one winning ticket sold in Quincy, Illinois. Naturally, instead of simply congratulating this newly minted billionaire and moving along like mature adults, we immediately start spending their money for them. Lump sum or annuity? Buy an island or stay in the same house? Disappear forever or become the richest tractor enthusiast in the Midwest? This funny podcast tackles all the responsible financial questions that absolutely nobody should trust us to answer.Moon also wonders whether the mystery winner could somehow be his cousin, which leads to dreams of farmland, giant gardens, tractors, demolition derby cars and the kind of billionaire lifestyle that says, “Yes, I have generational wealth, but I still know how to fix this carburetor.”Then things take a hard turn. And by “hard turn,” we mean the kind of conversational detour only The Rizzuto Show could make.We get an update on Michael Phillips, the North Carolina man who previously went viral for openly discussing his micropenis condition and is now preparing for an enhancement procedure. Rizz actually donated to the crowdfunding campaign, because apparently this show occasionally uses its powers for good between making every possible inappropriate joke about the situation. From there, welcome to The Urine Chronicles. The man accused of urinating on seated concertgoers during a Morgan Wallen show has finally been arrested, reopening one of the great philosophical debates of our time: what exactly are you legally, morally and spiritually allowed to do when a stranger starts peeing on you? Rizz has some thoughts. Rafe has some extremely specific defensive strategies. Lern consults the internet. Moon attempts to introduce reason into the discussion, which—as longtime listeners know—is usually where everything goes wrong. There's also a trip through history as the crew marks the anniversary of the Berlin Wall going up, complete with escape stories, Moon's memories of visiting Berlin and the historically impeccable reminder that David Hasselhoff personally brought the whole thing down. Please do not cite this funny podcast in your dissertation. Then it's time for Crap on Celebrities, featuring Diddy's prison update and a debate over whether celebrities can ever truly become untouchable after major scandals. The crew gets into Ozzy Osbourne's “Crazy Train” passing one billion Spotify streams, new Phoebe Bridgers music, upcoming rock documentaries, Jason Sudeikis joining Mumford & Sons for the Ted Lasso theme, Seinfeld remaining comfort-food television, Rory Scovel's comedy special, Star Wars fatigue, Ewan McGregor's willingness to return as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Julie Andrews stepping away from Princess Diaries 3.Plus, celebrity fan encounters get deeply weird. Dolly Parton once had a baby left on her doorstep. The Jonas Brothers received a preserved baby shark. Rupert Grint apparently accepted an invitation to party with drag queens until 4 a.m. And James McAvoy got presented with perhaps the most direct hall-pass proposal imaginable.Throw in birthdays, St. Louis references, inappropriate detours and enough pop culture commentary to make your search history look deeply concerning, and you've got another funny podcast from The Rizzuto Show.Come for the billion-dollar dreams. Stay because we're apparently litigating concert pee.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The sweetest White House Press Sectretary ever, Karoline Leavitt, is going home to her little kids to be a mom for now. Great for her! We discuss her incredible journey and future... and who may take the podium next. Cheers to Kennadi Fuhrman of DeSoto, Kansas for the being he first female ever to win the Patriot Games. And wait until you hear how much she won for a scholarship! Ty Masterson posts a brutal takedown of opponent Cindy Holscher, who has mocked Jesus in the past. At training camp, Travis Kelce met with the media for the first time since his wedding. We play a big chunk of it as it's very interesting... especially his vocal techniques. The Royals get swept for the 10th time this season and are in very rare company as one of only three AL teams not in the playoff hunt. Oh, and Salvy got hurt. The Lakers get sold to Jared Kushner's brother and Jason Sudeikis gets on stage at Madison Square Garden to sing the Ted Lasso song.

That Show Hasn't Been Funny In Years: an SNL podcast on Radio Misfits
Nick looks back at one of the funniest recurring sketches in Saturday Night Live history, featuring two of the show’s most hilariously obnoxious characters. Jason Sudeikis and Kristen Wiig star as the “Two A-Holes,” a self-absorbed couple who spend their time talking on their phones, chewing gum, ignoring everyone around them, and driving everyone they meet completely crazy. You’ll hear every appearance the Two A-Holes made on SNL, alongside hosts including Jack Black, Matt Dillon, Annette Bening, Steve Carell, and the cast of Mad Men. Nick also shares behind-the-scenes stories and revisits some of their funniest moments, from shopping for a Christmas tree and joining a health club to adopting a baby and butchering karaoke. They’re unbelievably annoying…and absolutely hilarious. [Ep 188]

Emmy-winning actor Jason Sudeikis got together with Willie Geist to reflect on a career that has taken him from a decade at Saturday Night Live to creating and starring in the title role of Ted Lasso. Jason Sudeikis once told Stephen Colbert that his high school basketball coach was part of the inspiration for Ted Lasso. That coach was Donnie Campbell, a math teacher and basketball coach from Kansas who found out the news walking to his classroom one morning. This week Coach Campbell joins Jon and Coach Jim for a conversation about what he actually taught Jason, why he never felt like a leader who coached but a coach who happened to lead, and the MVP framework he built his entire program around that has nothing to do with most valuable player. He also shares the goldfish story. Believe!
A beloved feel-good comedy no one expected to see again is back after three years, this time swapping the men's pitch for a women's team. Same warmth, same UK humour, same wholesome heart that made it a lockdown obsession, and stars you fell for returning. Then, reality TV's most chaotic new fixation has one very charming (very red-flag) leading man, 20 women, a 30-day countdown to a proposal, and a Call Her Daddy mogul pulling the strings behind the scenes. Need I say more?Plus if you refer something with a pulse of dread? There's a stylish, deeply creepy 80s-set teen thriller with a supermodel lead, a Hollywood serial killer, and all the sex, drugs and cigarettes the decade promised.
The high concept rom com "One Night Only" has an original premise, but sketchy execution. In a future where premarital sex is outlawed, one night a year is left open for singles to hook up. Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner play singles looking for a brief encounter, but circumstances keep throwing them together and pulling them apart. There are a few clever moments but "One Night Only" can never overcome its inherent phoniness. The twisted and blood-soaked horror comedy "Ice Cream Man" is morally repugnant. But for Spat Pack filmmaker Eli Roth, the king of ‘torture porn,' that's kinda the point. The treats served up by a mysterious vendor in a small town turns the kids into homicidal zombies. The crazed and foul-mouthed kids DO hideous things they're not nearly old enough to SEE on the big screen and an army of makeup artists create the grisly mayhem. “Ice Cream Man” lands a few twisted laughs, but you may feel like taking a shower afterward. The Apple TV sports comedy series "Ted Lasso" starring KC favorite son Jason Sudeikis is back for season four. The first episode which was shot here in town highlights several local landmarks. Ted's former British employers come to town to try to persuade him to return to England and coach a women's soccer team. Fans of the series know exactly what kind of cheeky humor to expect, and season four serves it up in welcome fashion. Just seeing award-winning British actress Hannah Waddingham become obsessed with Gates BBQ sauce is reason enough to tune in. The documentary "Cookie Queens" focuses on four girls undergoing the joys and pressures of Girl Scout cookie sales season. It's sweet but lighter than a thin mint.

Walter decodes the fiercely loyal, and sometimes masochistic, subcultures of the Jersey Shore beaches before diving into Jason Sudeikis's massive million-dollar payday for the return of Ted Lasso. Callers weigh in with surprising job interview survival tips—like why you should never lie about your education or bring up your previous salary—and debate the supposedly mind-numbing, assembly-line origins of cursive writing. The episode takes a turn into the bizarre as Walter questions the impossibly grand, oversized architecture of 19th-century post offices. Buckle up for an hour of mysteries, laughs, and things that make you go "hmmm."

How could four superstar music headliners -- Shakira, BTS, Madonna and Justin Bieber -- possibly all fit into an 11-minute performance? We found out Sunday during the first-ever World Cup Final halftime show, and on the new Billboard Pop Shop Podcast we're talking all about what worked, and what got weird. The craziest part of the jam-packed spectacle was that the quartet of headliners weren't alone: They were joined by a robust cast of side characters, including Gustavo Dudamel directing the New York Philharmonic and Venezuela's Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra; Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt in character as Ted Lasso and Coach Beard; Staten Island's PS22 Chorus and Coldplay performing the original song "We Dance"; and yes, even The Muppets. From Jason Sudeikis's appearance confusing us all to the absolutely unhinged guest list moment that had everyone spiralling, this wedding was basically living in the internet, and we're taking it all in.We're also diving into the Bride and Groom's outfits, the performances that floored everyone, and Lena Dunham's very inappropriate (but very funny) joke about Travis Kelce and his football mates. So whether you're team "I'm happy for her" or team "this is completely unhinged," one thing's clear: nobody's wedding will ever come close to this level of spectacle, chaos, and cultural significance.Take The Spill's monthly pop culture quiz here and test your knowledge!
