With that said, we will be changing our name to fit more around what we truly represent. The A-list has now become S.R.O., which st…

    Martin England

There is an avenue that runs through the heart of singer/songwriter Martin England. To know him, all you must do is travel it. The signs are clear and readable, the parks and haunts are accessible, and the pave is warm even when it is sharp. This road, his road, has its way of telling you exactly what there is to be experienced in his heart, and exactly where to find it. The heart-trip soundtrack of Martin England’s music is that of all great American troubadours; Americana, folk, roots rock, and occasional old school country. It’s the common language he shares with contemporaries like Ray Lamontagne and founding legends like Johnny Cash, equal parts light and shadow cast in emotionally-charged, heart-harvesting songs.

High on the tide but hungry for more, Corwyn has moved his studio vision forward into The White Cane Conspiracy. Due out January 4, 2011, The White Cane Conspiracy is a thematic play on his lack of obviously blind traits. He doesn’t use a white cane. He doesn’t walk into walls, as a rule. He doesn’t even rattle a coffee cup for change while riding on subways. Really, he’s quite delinquent as a blind cliché, and thus the smirk and the slice of this album’s themes were born. Working again with Michael Seifert, the pals grounded JP’s sound more firmly in the acoustic side of indie rock and affirmed the greater maturity of the songwriting. With a richness of subtlety and elegance in the production, Corwyn’s soaring; clarion voice has been given ample room to shine through. The first piece of the Conspiracy unfolds in the November 2010 release of the lead single “Find a Reason.” Prepare to have your eyes opened. Pun.

"Danika Holmes is a rising star in the heartland!” says Bill Sullivan of The Rock and Roll Report. Mike Wolfe of The History Channel’s American Pickers says “She’s a true American talent… I couldn’t stop listening!” Music critics agree that Danika is charming and energetic with a welcoming tone in her voice, which is as gentle as a breeze. As Holmes plays shows, fans tell her how they can relate to her lyrics, which is exactly what she is hoping for. “At first that was really scary for me. I felt like I was standing on stage and unzipping my soul!” Currently, Danika’s music is being broadcast on independent radio stations, blogs, and podcasts around the world. She performs regularly with her band, has opened for The Nadas, and her show was aired on Iowa Public Television and Radio.“Second Chances,” Danika’s debut album, was released in March of 2010. The title track is a reflection of Danika’s dogmatic belief that everyone benefits from a second chance, or even a third, along life’s way.height="390">

    Jordan Reyne

On music, Jordan remarks “A song is like a chemical reaction between listener and performer, where both bring so much to the equation that the experience is different every time. The effect is more powerful than drugs and comes with zero hangover.” This clean high fuels her as she handles her own producing, engineering, songwriting, arranging, graphic design, and web design. A remarkable task list for a woman who claims she can’t multitask to save her life, but then again, it’s that paradox that fascinates. From literally knocking on record label doors until one of said yes to being hailed as pioneer in a new genre by New Zealand’s National Radio, Jordan Reyne has always been a winning collection of contrary ideas. She is humorous and nihilistic. She is sensitive and thoughtful, rapacious and caustic. The darkness in her music is beautiful, and the light is just as much so. Thus, she stands in the middle of all this, directing traffic, casting vision, interpreting culture, and bending sound into an experience that is truly extraordinary.

It has been described as up-beat rock n’ roll with pop-like chord progressions and mixed with a dash of metal”. This is what creates the melodic-rock sound that is Sound of Surrender. The vocals have also been described as having, limitless range. The combination of these 4 musicians and their constant growth and development from project to project leads many to believe there is a long and bright future ahead for Sound of Surrender. Looking to gain more exposure they managed to get radio play on San Diego’s hit rock station 105.3 as well as 94.9 and 91x. In 2006 they were featured in Synthesis Magazine as one of the top 16 Unsigned Bands. Since Sound of Surrender played the Warped Tour Ernie Ball stage in 2006 the bands popularity has taken on a life of it’s own. They followed that up with an appearance again in 2008 and have generated a buzz large enough to get recognized by both independent and major labels. In 2010 they inked a deal with Legendary Media Group/Bungalo/Universal. After putting out their EP, The Long Road Home in 2008 Sound of Surrender is ready to drop their first single with Legendary Media Group. It is slated for the summer of 2010 and they will be following up with an album later on this year.
