Welcome to the LDS Mission Podcast! This week on the podcast, Episode 223 - How To Say Goodbye, we are talking about how, goodbyes are never easy—and yet, they're part of every stage of missionary life. In this episode, I'm diving deep into how to say goodbye with intention, compassion, and strength. Whether you're a preparing missionary leaving your family, a currently serving missionary facing transfers, a returned missionary saying goodbye to your mission, or a missionary mom learning how to let go—this conversation is for you. I share practical tools and emotional insights to help you face the reality of goodbyes without sugarcoating, honor the emotions that come up, and create rituals that bring comfort and connection. You'll learn how to embrace the grief, find closure, and reframe endings as new beginnings. Saying goodbye doesn't have to break you—it can actually be a powerful moment of growth and resilience. This episode will give you strategies to navigate transitions with courage, whether it's sending a child to the MTC, leaving behind an area you've come to love, or adjusting to life after the mission. Remember, the pain of goodbye is really a sign of how deeply you've loved and connected—and that's something beautiful. As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. I know this work will help LDS missionaries around the world and it would mean so much to me if you did. Until next week my friends. Five years, ten seasons, and over 200 episodes later, Talk Shit with P is taking its final bow—at least for now. In this emotional season opener, Paula reflects on the journey that transformed a simple podcast idea into a full-fledged brand and community.Season 10 isn't just another collection of episodes; it's a thoughtfully crafted conclusion celebrating growth, connection, and transition. Paula shares why this shorter, more focused season feels like the perfect way to honor what Talk Shit with P has meant to her and her listeners. Each episode features genuine, unscripted conversations with people who've been part of her podcasting journey, with one recurring question: "What was your impression of me when we first met versus now?"The decision to pause the podcast throughout 2026 wasn't made lightly. Paula opens up about channeling her energy into her new venture, Wrap Shit with P, and an intimate project called "Shattered Mirrors" that combines a book, journal, and podcast. "When you work on your purpose and have faith and keep going, even when you feel like not going, it's coming," she reflects, highlighting how this isn't an ending but a strategic redirection. For loyal listeners, Paula promises bonus episodes throughout 2026 and invites everyone to participate in the season finale by sharing voice notes about their first impressions of her. The episode brims with gratitude for the communities, opportunities, and relationships that blossomed from what started as "this little podcast of mine."Join Paula for one last ride—for now—as she celebrates the growth that comes from betting on yourself and having the courage to close certain chapters to write new ones.Talk yo sh!t… Sh!t-Talker!!Support the showFOLLOW US ON;Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/talkshitwithpTwitter: https://twitter.com/TalkshitwithpFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/TalkwhitwIthpTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@TalkshitwithpShop IG: https://www.instagram.com/Talkshitwithp.shopLEAVE US A REVIEW ON APPLE PODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/talk-shit-with-p/id1509470001AND SUBSCRIBE TO OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL:https://www.youtube.com/@TalkshitwithpSupport The Show (whatever you can)Cashapp: https://cash.app/$TSWP20Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/TswpBuymecoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/talkshitwithpAmazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2M9Q4HNKRO2WA?ref_=wl_shareTo Learn more on my story;https://flow.page/tal...

Goodbyes don't always end with words… sometimes they wait quietly in your contacts list. The Number I'll Never Dial - A Poem by Sarvajeet D ChandraOnce, when people left, they were gone for good.No calls, no texts, just… absence.Memories blotting, fadinglike damp ink on cheap paper. But now the past has Wi-Fi.It returns with profile pictures, familiar faces, unfamiliar eyes.So when I got your number, the past seeped in,water sliding under a door, flooding the room before I could stop it.The light in your eyesno longer calls me.A glass river runs between us,its waters cold.I see you like a traveler at a café window, watching a stranger as she stirs her tea.It might have been easier, safer, cleanerto stumble on you on social, send a thoughtless friend request, scroll past your photos, linger at your collarbone for a moment too long, drop two pity likes, a lazy comment. Now the number waits in my phone like a dare.I will not call, meet, or message you.I wish you well, a final goodbye,I leave you as silence leaves its weight in the air,As a candle leaves its warmth in a dark room.

On the outside, moving to Bali might look like a dream. Palm trees, beaches, and adventure. But what most people don't see are the sacrifices, the grief, and the persistence required to make that dream real. This is a story about what it truly costs to follow a vision. From saying goodbye to beloved pets, to unexpected home repairs, to letting go of sacred spaces and lifelong belongings — the path to Bali has been layered with both liberation and loss. I've had moments of tears, temper, and total surrender. Yet through it all, one truth remains: the bigger the sacrifice, the bigger the reward on the other side.If you're walking through your own transition — whether it's letting go, starting fresh, or pursuing a big dream — this episode is for you. It's a reminder that grief and growth can coexist, that shedding skins is part of transformation, and that courage will always ask everything of you… but it will give you everything, too.“Always choose courage over comfort. That's the path to your dreams.”For more inspiration, you may also enjoy:• 140: The Bali Dream - https://youtu.be/ZcqwPvCU9tE• 133: Holding On While Letting Go - https://youtu.be/cLtx8986-Hw

Kicking off this episode, the crew of DblDubz, Filtrophobe, and Tuff announce that they will be hosting a tournament with a grand prize of a Hero Realms Digital Legends account! (Available to non-Legend account holders only! Check the link below for details and to sign-up.) After this the crew breaks down a Dungeons character showdown between a Necromancer and a Druid. The Meta Mashup takes center stage for the episode as Filtrophobe takes us through all the latest Hero Helper data with much more significant sample sizes than available in our previous episode. Beginning with the next episode, Jim, an accomplished commercial trial litigator, and Michal, a veteran litigator who strives to turn complex legal issues into clear, concise arguments, will continue Dave's passion for helping lawyers and law firms thrive. Hop in the Top Ten Time Machine as Dave and Milt, joined by certified grooveologists Al and Ira, crank the dials back to 1972 — a year when rock was raw, soul was deep, and at least one guy was wearing glitter and singing about space. It's time for the ABCs of Rock Draft, where our fab four draft their dream teams of albums released in this musically stacked year. Expect legends like Bowie, Wonder, and the Eagles to fly off the board early — but don't be surprised when someone grabs the Sanford and Son theme or gets misty over a reggae soundtrack. There's glam, grit, gospel, and a live J. Geils record that might punch you in the face. Along the way: hot takes, deep tracks, accidental revelations, and one AI-generated roast session. By the end, you'll either be nostalgic for bell bottoms or in awe of how many stone-cold classics dropped in '72. Hey friends! Part 4 of my Relationship Ready series is all about breakups...I know. They suck. But so many of us go through them and rarely talk honestly about them. Whether you're heartbroken, confused, or just wondering if you're in the right relationship, I hope this encourages you. I've had my share of heartbreaks—some mutual, some messy—and I know the pain, but I've also seen God's healing and redemption firsthand. I share stories from my own life, tips for coping in healthy ways, the importance of setting boundaries, and why seeking God first is the absolute best way to heal and move forward. Remember, God is not the author of confusion. Let's get out of the dance with confusion and walk in clarity and healing. Books Mentioned:Good Boundaries and Goodbyes by Lysa TerKeurst ORDER MY BOOK! Back home, dread pools in the dining room, whispers echo through empty halls, and a sister casually confirms the family's second sight. This is a daily EXTRA from The Grave Talks. Grave Confessions is an extra daily dose of true paranormal ghost stories told by the people who survived them! While scientists for years have been studying unusual experiences that happen to people as they approach death, they've only just begun studying whether animals have End-of-Life Experiences. Jimmy Akin and Dom Bettinelli discuss whether they do, what kinds of experiences they have, and how they compare to human experiences. The post Animal End-of-Life Experiences (Pets, Last Goodbyes, Last Rallies, Crisis Apparitions, Terminal Lucidity, Deathbed Visions, Precognition, etc.) appeared first on StarQuest Media.
This week on Sex With Emily, we're tackling one of the most harmful and outdated questions in modern dating: "What's your body count?" In conversation with holistic psychologist and trauma expert Dr. Scott Lyons, we explore the troubling origins of this term, once used to count military casualties, and how it's been repurposed to judge sexual history, often unfairly targeting women. We unpack the double standards rooted in purity culture, the insecurities this question provokes, and the shame it can breed in both high and low numbers. More importantly, we discuss why the number of sexual partners has nothing to do with sexual skill, emotional readiness, or compatibility. #intimacy #love #relationships Timestamps: 00:00:00 - Body Count: A Sex-Positive Discussion 00:03:00 - Judging Past Relationships 05:51 - Body Count & Insecurities 08:24 - Why Judging is Wrong 10:46:38 - Historical Shame Roots 13:22 - Societal Shame & Body Count 15:47 - Regrets & Sexual Experiences 18:13 - Reframing the Conversation 22:44:04 - Ditching the Question 25:38 - Addressing Relationship Insecurities 37:53 - Pleasure, Goodbyes & Outro If you're 21+, try VIIA!
