There is no smooth road to success. Anyone who has been successful knows this. The purpose of this show is to share those imperfect stories in hopes that we empower you to chase your dreams as we chase ours. A lot of us think we need to know it all from the beginning. We don't. But we cant begin to know anything if we dont start!

Sometimes I notice that we are aiming for perfection over consistency when we are striving for our goals and dreams. In my experiences. Consistency has breeded character, and Perfection has breeded jealousy and a constant lack of satisfaction. Take the best golfer in the world, when you look at all things aside they tend to be really consistent. Do they have bad days? OF COURSE! But do they continue to show up day after day to get better and better, THEY DO. Keep going for it everyone!

Hello from Arkansas! Just ran into my 9th state today. My Achilles' tendon was flaring up so I decided to walk for a little bit. Sometimes we need to give ourselves a break. I've learned that this week after my big run (27.4 miles) and then two days later having a day off. The rest and recovery helped me come back so much stronger and yesterday I crushed 20 miles. Life is a marathon, we can't be sprinting the whole time!

In this episode I talk about how we can care less about what others think of us and how we can become more of our true selfs. Growing up, all I cared about was what other people thought of me. Now, it's very different. Still certain opinions may itch my skin, but it doesn't stop me from doing what I want to do in life (and that's the key!). “As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”

Sam Tompkins started busking on the streets of the United Kingdom at the age of 16 years old. Sam really wanted to buy a hat from a store but couldn't afford the money. His friends knew Sam could sing so they egged him on to go on the street and sing so he could make money to buy the hat. Within 20 minutes he had the 15 pounds to afford the hat. Here we are six years later Sam is one of the most emerging artists in the UK and the world. He sold out his first UK tour called 'From My Sleeve to the World' towards the end of 2019 and was chosen as Youtube UKs Top 10 artists to watch in 2020. Sam connects with his fans on the deepest level because just like his album title, his music really is worn on his sleeve. He leaves it all out there for everyone to hear and see. Sam talks about how Ed Sheeran has played a significant role in his life. I believe in a few years Sam will be more popular than one of his biggest role models, Ed Sheeran himself. Dont believe me?
