Greetings, Mostly Superheroes fans! Hosts Logan "LJ" Janis and Scotty Scoop recently had an incredible live podcast interview from Magic Mini Golf on the Delmar Loop. They sat down with two of St. Louis's influential individuals, magician Amanda Lindsey and the "Duke of Delmar" himself, Joe Edwards. Conway roasts a “long-lost friend” who resurfaces just to beg for Del Mar tickets, warns listeners about “mushing” and shark-filled oceans, and invites fans to join a special Zoom event for the upcoming Conway Cruise to Alaska and Canada on August 6th. Plus, tourism dips in Vegas, San Diego debates nonprofit beach permits, tsunami warnings questioned after Russia's 8.7 quake, and we say goodbye to TV icon Loni Anderson at 79.
The Delmar divide can be seen from above - there are fewer trees in lower-income, majority-Black neighborhoods in St. Louis. In recent years, nonprofits have been working to even things out. The May 16 tornado changed that work overnight.
Jason discusses his visit to Mountaineer for West Virginia Derby night and welcomes in Frank Scatoni to talk Del Mar, disqualifications, wager denominations and more!

Former tax lawyer Zarina Del Mar was working out twice a day, seven days a week—running in the morning, gym sessions midday, and CrossFit at night. She was chasing an impossible body standard while fighting her genetic baseline, until she realized she couldn't feel her own body anymore.
