Welcome to The Love History Podcast, where an LGBTQ+ historian and a River Thames Mudlark come together to explore their shared passion for history alongside special guests who are shaping history through their lives. Meet your hosts: Mok O’Keeffe, also known as @gayaristo on social media, is an LGBTQ+ historian shedding light on hidden narratives and untold stories. As a PhD candidate focusing on the Country House as a sanctuary and hub for LGBTQ+ communities, Mok has been featured in publications like Country Life, The Daily Express, and Metro and has hosted History Out of The Closet on Glitterbeam Radio, the world's fastest-growing LGBTQ+ radio station. Marie-Louise Plum, known online as @oldfathethames, is the 'Tide Travelling Mudlark' who scours the River Thames during low tide, rescuing historical artefacts and revealing tales from London and global history.
