After an extended break the Patriot game is back with a bang. Before Christmas we recorded a very special episode with Lisbon Lion Jim Craig. Jim takes the lads on a trip down memory lane regaling them with his stories of his time playing for Celtic, his career and also some fantastic stories of the late great Bertie Auld. A must listen for all those who remember and all those who wish they were around when Celtic conquered Europe.

Lee & Pierce take to the Mics to talk about the latest goings-on at Celtic park, apologise for some of their views over the past few months and generally rejoice in the wonder of seeing the Celtic play again.

In the first episode of the new season, the lads get together to discuss yesterdays press conference with new Manager Ange Postecoglou and new Ceo Dom Mckay, their fears and hopes for the new season, the Lennon and Griffiths feud and Lee does his best to recruit new members to the Ange bus with mixed success.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Hunger Strike and to mark this, The Patriot Game sat down with former Sinn Fein publicity director and spokesperson for Bobby Sands, Danny Morrison. Danny shared with us his journey into a lifetime involvement in Irish republicanism, the 1981 Hunger Strike and his thoughts on the future and the prospects of a United Ireland.

This weeks guest on the podcast is Celtic fan, Poet and Kano foundation volunteer Erin Boyle. Erin joins the lads to discuss last weeks scenes in Glasgow, the wider issue of anti-Irish racism in Scotland before discussing her life following Celtic and what the club means to her and how it inspired her involvement in the Kano foundation. Erin discusses her love of poetry and drama even recites one of her many outstanding poems before telling us her dream pre match pint guests.

This weeks guest is Jonathan Burns, Jonathan speaks to the show about memories of his Dad, his coaching career at Celtic, what it takes for a player to make it at Celtic and then discusses his current role in America and his aims for the future. An absolute gent of a man and an excellent insight into what made his Dad so special

On this weeks episode, the guests are Chris and Paul from the Glasgow Irish band the Wakes. The lads discuss the band, St Pauli, Celtic, Politics,Music and everything else in between.

With the news of the Superleague we decided to take to the mics to discuss the plans for the breakaway.
