Fue en ese momento cuando Trump se puso de moda entre toda la derecha identitaria occidental para la que era el referente indiscutible. Otros creen que el cénit del trumpismo se produjo a mediados del año pasado tras el ataque a las instalaciones nucleares iraníes, la aprobación de la Big Beautiful Bill y la ofensiva arancelaria que forzó a renegociar los acuerdos comerciales a todo el mundo. Agrawal lo lleva a principios de este año, y no va desencaminado. El 3 de enero la Delta Force capturó a Maduro en Caracas, una operación muy audaz y celebrada, pero que, siete meses después, no se ha traducido en cambio alguno para los venezolanos. Fue eso lo que le envalentonó hasta el punto de que acto seguido anunció que quería anexionar Groenlandia a Estados Unidos. En el foro de Davos del año pasado no se hablaba de otra cosa. Los líderes europeos concluyeron que lo mejor era adularle y evitar el conflicto. Un mes más tarde comenzó su caída, el 28 de febrero exactamente, cuando decidió atacar Irán. Seis meses más tarde, la guerra ha comprometido el arsenal del ejército, ha encarecido la vida de los estadounidenses y está devastando su popularidad. EEUU tenía unos 2.300 interceptores Patriot a comienzos de año. Sólo en las primeras semanas de guerra gastó más que los entregados a Ucrania en cuatro años y en agosto ya sólo les quedaban 800. Cada uno cuesta cuatro millones de dólares y tarda dos años en fabricarse. La producción es de unos 600 anuales. Los adversarios de Estados Unidos han detectado la vulnerabilidad y actúan en consecuencia. Esto no significa que Irán esté ganando, pero si puede permitirse el lujo de aguantar. Sus drones Shahed le permiten dosificar el bloqueo de Ormuz y, sobre todo, elegir a quién atacar. El New York Times cifra en 18 las bases atacadas en siete países. El galón de gasolina sigue un tercio por encima de lo normal, pero la crisis habría sido aún peor sin las reservas chinas. Es decir, que China ha rescatado a EEUU de los errores de su presidente. Los sondeos de popularidad hablan por sí mismos. Su tasa de aprobación está en mínimos y hasta parte del movimiento MAGA critica la aventura iraní. Eso a solo dos meses de las elecciones de noviembre es dinamita. Se puede culpar a Israel, pero los israelíes llevaban muchos años pidiendo a Estados Unidos que atacase Irán y ningún presidente anterior accedió. La decisión fue exclusivamente de Trump contra el criterio de los expertos, seguramente porque estaba ebrio de poder y obsesionado con su legado. Entretanto, el mundo se desconecta de Washington. Pakistán, Arabia Saudí y Turquía han firmado en agosto un pacto de defensa mutua, Europa ha elevado el gasto en defensa al 5% del PIB y busca nuevos socios comerciales en Sudamérica y la India. Le quedan algo menos de dos años y medio en la Casa Blanca, pero a partir del año próximo todos empezarán a darle por amortizado y fijar su atención en las presidenciales de 2028. Si además los republicanos pierden la mayoría en el Congreso su decadencia puede ser incluso más amarga. What a company is trying to reach is rarely a certificate. Michael Parisi, Chief Growth Officer at Steel Patriot Partners, treats the destination as the opening question rather than the closing one, and the firm orders its own priorities to match. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, what is in the president's mail-in voting executive order? It ensures voter integrity and the requirements are common sense, yet Democrats and their media lie about it as an effort to stop women and people of color from voting and call it a grave threat. The Democrats and their slip-and-fall lawyers always seem to be on the side of the cheaters but claim they are just looking out for the rest of us. This executive order is perfectly legitimate. Also, a leaked CBC memo instructed reporters ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11 not to refer to the attacks as terrorist attacks, instead describing hijackings that led to passenger jet crashes in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, and Manhattan that destroyed the World Trade Center. If 9/11 is not terrorism then terrorism does not exist. The left and Islamists in media allow this insanity to spread like poison.  Later, people aren't reading books, especially young people, so they lack independent information and don't understand the history of socialism; they aren't taught it and are instead taught that socialism is fantastic. Many do not know what happened in the Holocaust or the Civil War's massive battles to preserve the Union and end slavery, nor why the Electoral College or the Senate exist. As a result they listen to Rasputin-type figures and radical anti-American faculty with tenure become the only source they have, leaving them without enough knowledge to push back. Afterward, the Democrats did everything they could to stop Ronald Reagan from pursuing the Strategic Defense Initiative, which led to Patriot missiles, among other life-saving technologies. The media regurgitated the Democrats' talking points, and mocked Reagan and "Star Wars."  The Democrats, the media, and the Woke Reich isolations opposed significant increases in our defense budget, which has been shrinking as a percentage of GDP for some time. Meanwhile,  Barack Obama and Biden changed names on forts, ships, mountains. They changed nouns and pronouns. But Trump changes names to promote America and these same people lose what's left of their minds. Finally, Jon Husted calls in to discuss his Senate run against Sherrod Brown in Ohio. Brown tries to portray himself as a moderate but he's a liberal. Husted says the Democratic Socialists are taking over the Democratic party. Today's Headlines: Donald Trump signed an executive order renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America — yes, really — musing that maybe he'll rename the Atlantic and Pacific next, while Canadian PM Mark Carney responded that "Ontario" is a 400-year-old Wendat word meaning "the lake is beautiful, the lake is big," which is a more dignified response than the moment deserved. Back to actual issues, Iran has been running an AI-powered disinformation operation on Instagram and Facebook, posing as average Americans to spread political misinformation about immigration and the Israel-Palestine war, with Meta taking down 35 accounts — which is a lot of effort from a country we're supposedly defeating militarily. The military situation is genuinely alarming across every front: a sailor who jumped off the USS Abraham Lincoln in what his wife describes as a suicide attempt — after his paternity leave requests were repeatedly denied while his wife gave birth — is now facing disciplinary action for "malingering" and AWOL charges for being medically evacuated. Pete Hegseth fired the Army's top general days after the general was advised to drop an investigation into how Kid Rock got a military helicopter fly by so he could wave at it on social media. Oh but there's more, Jennifer Hegseth, Pete's wife and former Fox News producer, has been attending classified intelligence meetings with foreign officials with no confirmed security clearance — she was in the Houthi PC small group chat. Five service members told MSNBC they're being asked to violate international law by targeting civilian infrastructure, and applications to leave as conscientious objectors have surged since the Iran war started. The US is also "beyond critically low" on Patriot missile interceptors in Europe — because of the Iran war — right as the CIA director had to fly to Moscow in person to tell Russia not to attack NATO. A Navy engineer's rape lawsuit against the ship captain who allegedly entered her room with a master access key was dismissed by a judge who said it should be treated as a workplace compensation claim. To add to the overall craziness, ICE arrested 49,000 people in July alone, with less than 4% having any prior violent conviction. And finally, Fauci's prosecution is apparently going nowhere, which is the best news of the day. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Christian farmers are being targeted by Fulani Muslims For many Christian farmers in the Plateau State of Nigeria, traveling to their own farms has become dangerous, reports International Christian Concern. Some have stopped going altogether. Others now move in groups, hoping that numbers will offer some protection. But for families who depend on agriculture for survival, abandoning their land is not an easy choice.  The fear has grown following a series of attacks by armed men suspected to be Fulani Muslim militias which have targeted farmers traveling to and from their fields.  On July 30, according to Christian leader Joseph Yonkpa, 60-year-old Christian farmer Bulus Turu was “attacked and macheted while returning from his farm.”  At least 27 people have been killed in ambushes, many of whom were Christian farmers traveling to their farms.  Yohana Boh, a community leader, said, “We received early warning, but the Nigerian Army ignored it. We can't sleep. We can't farm. Flash flood in Nepal killed 360 The deadly flash flood in Nepal on August 26th has killed 360 people and left 1,400 missing including 90 Americans, reports Weather.com. The flood was likely caused by a huge chunk of a glacier that broke off and temporarily dammed a river.  That may have led to the backed-up water surging downstream with enormous force a few hours later. President Trump renames Lake Ontario to Lake America On August 27th, President Donald Trump said he is renaming Lake Ontario to be known as “Lake America” in the United States as he escalates his trade war with Canada, reports the Associated Press. The president signed an executive order directing the Interior Department to update the lake's name in the U.S. geographic naming service. Girl Scouts promotes Islam The Girl Scouts organization in America already has plunged neck-deep into transgenderism and abortion, with ideologies that support such leftist agendas. Now, the group is jumping into Islam, reports WorldNetDaily.com. An online report confirmed the Girls Scouts are offering "badges" that are earned by little girls when they visit mosques and learn the "Pillars of Islam." Not surprisingly, social media commenters were outraged. Turning Point USA, founded by Charlie Kirk, tweeted, “Nothing says Girl Scouts of AMERICA like learning the pillars of Islam.” And another wrote, “Never buy Girl Scout cookies again.” According to a new investigation by Natalie Winters, the White House correspondent for Steve Bannon's War Room, she documented that, "Girl Scout troops across the U.S. are incorporating Islamic religious instruction, prayer and activities, [like wearing the hijab head covering and participating in the Ramadan fast] into scouting programs.” Winters reported, "Girl Scouts Heart of Central California knew about the Sacramento Area League of Associated Muslims' religious integration years earlier. The council's 2009 annual report said that four troops with 30 girls began …  [incorporating] Girl Scouting into the mosque's youth programming. It highlighted a Ramadan sleepover involving fasting and girls 'praying through the night.'" The Oregonian reports that Allison Roberts, who has two children at Meriwether Lewis Elementary School, took issue with benches painted with “Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride” rainbow designs. She also objected to an assignment in which one of her kids was tasked with filling out an “identity flower” exercise including gender. After a meeting with school officials to discuss her concerns, she began distributing letters about the situation outside the school, leading to a “heated exchange” with one parent. That led to a one-year trespass order keeping her off the grounds ostensibly for “threatening and intimidating members of the school community” with “harmful, unlawful and/or disruptive behavior.” As a result, Roberts was forced to miss one of her children's graduations from elementary school. Now, she is suing to reverse the trespass order and secure her rights to engage in free speech about her children's education.  Mrs. Roberts should prayerfully consider pulling her children out of the pro-perversion government schools and homeschool them instead. Meanwhile diplomacy has stalled and Russian rhetoric is becoming increasingly belligerent. AP reports that American Patriot interceptor inventories in Europe have fallen to what one U.S. defense official called “beyond critical,” largely because weapons have been diverted and expended during Trump's war with Iran. These are precisely the interceptors NATO depends upon to destroy the high-speed Russian ballistic missiles that become increasingly important if Moscow climbs the escalation ladder.
